I’ve been here about 2 – 3 times and I’ve enjoyed the food each time. First came here for my sister’s birthday and ordered a pasta with tomato sauce. It was delicious, as was the dessert… a brownie if I remember correctly. Second time here was with a friend of mine. I ordered the same pasta and wasn’t disappointed. I knocked off one star from my review because on this occasion, our waitress was very inattentive. We waited for at least 20 minutes after finishing our food to get our bill and another 20 minutes to get our cards back. Third time was for my mom’s retirement party. They set all of us up out on the skating rink and serves food buffet style. By that time, my sister had become a vegan and was thrilled that they offered some items that even she could enjoy. She is also friends with the chef and he was more than happy to bring her out a few more options for her to eat. The wait staff was also very attentive to our large party. I will definitely be back.

I visit macomb every so often to see friends and have been meaning to try this place because i know the owner and some of the staff. I had high hopes and was not disappointed. You can tell everything is homemade and it was all delicious. Staff was great as well. I sat at the bar and the bartender knew what he was doing. Recommended a few beers for me and it was cool to see a lot of beers that you can’t really get anywhere else in macomb. All in all i recommend this place to anyone that’s looking for more than just frozen and fried junk and crappy light beer that you can find anywhere else in Macomb. It’s a unique spot and i hope it does well.

We went there 11−8−15. We had large party and had resverations.(13). Food took an hour and 15 minutes to get out to the table. Then alot was cold. Don’t get the Belly Dancer sandwich. The boar was so tough you need a chain saw to cut it. Fries greasy.

The burgers are great, the fries are okay. Not sure if the water is filtered or not. Overall it’s pretty alright. Pretty waitress.

I used to love going to Shiloh’s when I visited Macomb and was really disappointed when they closed(one of the few places to offer top notch food in the area)… It was a pleasant surprise to see the chef now landed here… I knew right away when my salad with the blueberry vinaigrette showed up!!! A dressing he makes homemade and is killer on the spinach salad! For an entrée you have to go with the sloppy chop! It’s the chef’s specialty and it’s the best pork chop entrée I’ve ever had! This place is a little off the beaten path, but well worth the trip… Looking forward to coming back when I’m back in town.

We have been twice and all I can say is it’s ok. The wife had the chicken dish and it was dry. The potatoes were bland. I had the BBQ pork sandwich and it was just ok. The second time she had the jalapeño bacon burger. It was a pressed burger that was fair. The fries were very greasy and soggy. I had the angel hair pasta with shrimp. It was just ok. The shrimp was chewy. There was chunks of raw garlic in it. My wife wouldn’t kiss me after dinner it was so garlicky. This is another typical Macomb restaurant– just ok.

Top flight! Great good, the sloppy chop was fabulous, my wife’s salmon was very good also, loved the Chipotle soup. Anna was a great waitress, and I would rate her one of the best!!! The bar is lit just right and looked like the grand supper clubs of the past. You’d expect to hear Sinatra music in the background… a new restaurant that’s making a splash in a big way…

We just heard about this restaurant this week and were anxious to try it. It is in the building of former Skateland, and though it would seem an unusual venue for an eating establishment, it works. My wife & I dined with my sister & hubby, and we all tried something different and it was all good. We had heard that the for proprietor of Shiloh’s is working as chef here, and had that confirmed. The menu and style reflected that. We will return.
