My wife and I dined at Bonefish last evening for our anniversary. We were extremely pleased with all aspects of the experience. When we arrived we were greatly pleasantly and seated on time according to our reservation. We had requested a booth at the time of our reservation. That request was noted and the hostess seated us in a booth in a good location of the restaurant. Our server treated us almost immediately after we were seated and again we were met with smiles and a helpful attitude. The server was knowledgeable about the menu, answered questions about substitutions and food allergies and was attentive but not overbearing throughout the meal. A big plus in our book is that he never allowed us to run out of water or drink without checking. The meals we ordered were cooked perfectly and the broccoli was not overcooked, the sautéed spinach was excellent, the garlic mashed potatoes were smooth and creamy. The entrée dishes, scallops and shrimp and Chilean sea bass were properly seasoned and grilled. We will be returning.

A fine establishment with both good service AND good food. The calamari was pretty good but could have been cooked a slight bit longer. The edamame and teriyaki chicken bowl were delicious. However, the tasty and sufficiently potent margarita and modern mojito made everything a tad more divine. The service was excellent, calling for an unusually large tip.

The food is good and the service is good. We usually sit at the bar or in the bar area. However, every time we go it is FREEZING! If things don’t change we will not continue to eat here as it isn’t enjoyable and all my husband wanted to do was, «get the heck out of here».

Mules we ordered were a little too sweet, but the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The serves me a «small» piece of salmon but to me it was right size. They brought me a «to go» piece that was huge and super nice of them bc they did it without even asking. Bang bang shrimp tacos are to die for and my Asian pan salmon was in my opinion on point.

O bonefish– this place used to be nice and fresh. They really need to re vamp it and start bringing in fresh food. The food used to be so good and good size amount when it first opened. I almost always get fish and chip and lately they just soaked in oil

One of the«nicer» places to go out and eat in Macon– I have to say that it is their cocktails that keep me coming back time and time again! If you go during dinner time almost any night of the week you will probably encounter a wait… even if you have a reservation, which is a little bit annoying. That being said, everyone is super friendly and nice and the food is tasty– maybe a little expensive. I like that they do change up their menus a little bit from time to time offering a few different items seasonally. Nobody I’ve been with has ever had a bad dish or experience. We always get the calamari when we go and I like that it comes with fried red bell peppers as well, the dipping sauce is a yummy slightly spicy one too. They are known for their bang bang shrimp and have a great Tuesday night special(I think) of $ 5 bang bang shrimp.

Best spot is the bar. Food is mediocre. Wait staff is, well, you have to wait for them because they sure aren’t waiting for you! Even an empty restaurant may require you getting up to ask about the food wait or for the tab. Hopefully management can step it up and provide the level of service its customers and price demands.

Another Great evening at BoneFish Grill. The Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer had a huge amount of shrimp. Chopsticks add greatly to the ambiance of the dish, for me. My usual is the Sea Bass cooked Pan Asian style. So good it rivals the similar dish I so enjoy at Tao in Las Vegas. But tonight, I was So glad to see the Mahi Mahi Oscar special has returned! The fish was grilled to perfection, and topped with lump crab meat. I chose sautéed broccoli and potato au gratin for my sides, both flavorful, with great seasoning on the broccoli. Dessert was their chocolate crème brûlée which was unspeakably good. The bill was sweetened by happy hour until 6:30 pm and by 20% off coupon in mail/newspaper flyers, valid unto Dec 30, 2015.

The food is delicious. I had the pumpkin ravioli and sword fish, it was to die for. But on the other hand the service was horrible !! We ordered the bang bang shrimp with the sauce on the side and they messed that ordered up 3 times. My friend ordered off the seasonal menu and the lady messed up her ordered and took off her sides and substitute it with something else without telling her. The waitress didn’t know anything about the seasonal menu. You would think that the managers would have the waiters memorize the menus. So my sister went to try them out about a week after we did and she really liked the food. But, she said the service was horrible ! She got a 3 corse meal with dessert. My sister was going to put in the order for the dessert but the waitress told her she can do it later. So later came along, my sister asked for her dessert and the waitress told her«let me go see if they will make it because they are cleaning the kitchen now». I don’t care how bad your day is going but being a server you still need to make your customers comfortable and give great service. But don’t get me wrong the food is really good but they really need to work on the service. This is why I’m rating them only 2 stars.

I’ve had a large number of positive experiences at Bonefish Grill, but my most recent visit left much to be desired. Both restrooms were out of order, so to use the restroom I had to get up in the middle of dinner and walk down to Barnes & Noble. I appreciated that they were trying to work on the problem by having a plumber come ASAP, though it was a bit off-putting to see the plumber come through the kitchen with his tools on his way to and from the restrooms. Service was very slow, and the whole staff – greeters, waiters, and managers – seemed to be off their game. I ordered the Atlantic Salmon, which was cooked a little too thoroughly and was quite crispy on the outside. We ordered desserts, which took a solid 30 minutes to arrive. Spent a total of two hours in the restaurant, when we should have been in and out in a little over an hour. I will likely return to Bonefish someday, but if I have another bad experience, I might be swearing this location off for good.

Great place to eat. The food is always very good to be a big chain restaurant. The prices are very good the servers are very efficient. They always know their menu. The downside of the servers is they rush you too much. You never feel like they want you to chill. Feels rushed. The front door hostesses that we have experienced do not smile and are not kind. It’s crazy how much that affects you eating there. We do love their food bonefish just needs to slow down and train some sweetness

Worst bonefish I have ever been too. I love bonefish, and I actually worked at one in Tennessee throughout undergrad. First time I went the waitress disappeared and 30 mins later I asked a different waitress for the check. My waitress never came back. I decided to try it again for a celebration w my friends. Two of my friends food came out and they were done eating when my fiancé and I’s food came out. My tuna was burnt and so was his dinner. I could tell it had been sitting under the heat lamp forever. The manager came out paid for our food and gave us gift cards which was great. However, we ordered to go food today and it took forever for anyone to bring the food out to us. I was also on hold for over five mins to even order over the phone. Very disappointed in this bonefish. Sad I won’t be eating there.

We stopped in here for a drink and an appetizer before going to a family celebration dinner next door at another restaurant. Therefore, I can only offer a review of said appetizers since I haven’t had dinner at this location. I have had dinner at other locations though and for a chain, the food is fabulous. Usually, when we visit Bonefish, we try out whatever the chef’s recommendation or specialty available that evening but I have also had the Chilean Sea Bass and the sea scallops and shrimp. The sea bass is a bit pricey for the portion but it is cooked to perfection and worth the extra cash. As for sauces, I love the lime tomato garlic and the Mango salsa. In my opinion, both compliment any fish well. I you like a zesty, tangy, bolder taste, the tomato garlic is awesome, but if you prefer a more mild accompaniment, then the mango salsa does the trick So… on to our experience Saturday… We arrived early enough to get seats at the bar and it wasn’t terribly crowded. The bartender(s) were pleasant and had our drinks out fast. I almost feel like a sheep admitting that we ordered Bang Bang Shrimp. I know… I know… everyone gets that… where is my sense of adventure? Lol. I have to admit, it is so good. Every time! Never overcooked, soggy or over seasoned. Also tried out the Cold Snap fresh ceviche. I wasn’t expecting much, but I was pleasantly suprised! I’ve never had ceviche with scallops in it but they added a nice texture to compliment the entire appetizer. I do wish that, for the price, the portion was a bit larger. Looking back, I really wish we had stayed at Bonefish for dinner instead of Maggianos!

Bonefish is a great place to eat lunch. The choices are not overly cumbersome and the quality is very good. Highly recommend the Bang Bang shrimp as an appetizer for two or an entrée for one. Good bread provided with olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette is available if you like to add that. Salmon is great and so is the Kobe beef burger

For the Bonefish chain, this one is pretty amazing. We have eaten here several times over the past year and they are rarely lacking in any areas. The service is pretty good when compared to other restaurants in the area. Amazingly, when I have ordered the sirloin and crab cake dinner, the steak has always been cooked to medium-rare perfection.(I can’t even say that about any of the steak house restaurants in town!) This is just one of those places we can go to for a reliable delicious dinner any night of the week.

I’ve heard many a great review about Bonefish Grill but due to my previous location I wasn’t near a one. So when the opportunity popped up to taste and see, I jumped on it! I went on a Wed night, so the infamous Bang Bang shrimp were only $ 5. Instead of choosing that, we dined on the Beef Dumplings appetizer, the filet mignon and the Chilean sea bass. When I tell you that sea bass was the most yummiest of damn aquatic animals I’ve ever tasted… WOW! I got the small portion and was pretty upset I didn’t get the bigger one. I accompanied the sea bass with the Asian marinade and it was the perfect combo. Reason for not 4 stars is that with the ambiance, the music was way off. Like a funky mix of music from the 80s in a romantic, dimly lit restaurant. That threw me off. Food was amaze-balls tho!
