We had a very pleasurable dining experience last night our waitress was phenomenal her name was Brianna she was very attentive and made several suggestions but was not intrusive or pushy in anyway kept the wine glasses full and stoped by several times to make sure that we’re doing OK I know a lot of people don’t write reviews about chain restaurants but I had to do it this time because the experience was wonderful oh and by the way the food is really good as well.

This used to be my favorite place in Macon, I used to go almost every Sunday. They have a awesome happy house where drinks and appetizers are half price. They made a change with the menus and it barley has any good appetizers in it. So limited, the food is still awesome and service is always on point. I just can’t wait until they have a better menu

We usually are excited about this place but last night there was just something a bit different about this particular location. Service was lacking and slow and we were mislead regarding drink prices. Vegetable selection was not available and when they brought me out something I did not order no reason was given. When I asked for something different, I waited until I was nearly done eating to be given my second choice and then they tried to charge me for the extra veggie! Portions were smaller than normal and overall we both felt just a bit disappointed although the quality was still very good.

Carrabba’s used to be my go-to spot for a nice dinner. I’m not sure what’s going on with them(I’m referring to the franchise as a whole, not just the Macon location), but the last 3 – 4 times that I’ve gone have been less than thrilling. I hate to report that they’ve been removed from my faves list and are just«okay.»

Excellent service and food last evening when I arranged for a large party of 15 business associates to have dinner. Appetizers were outstanding, particularly the shrimp scampi and the mussels. Our wait staff was superb and kept the food and drink flowing without being intrusive. Had dinner that past Friday at Bonefish and between the two, Carrabba’s wins — no question, especially based on professionalism of the staff and food quality. I had a filet medium and it was perfect. I did note that 2 of the others did say their steaks were slightly too rare. But overall, a good end to a long day of work!

First time at this particular location as we are driving though on vacation. Took a bit to seat us but our waitress, Alexandra, was superb. The food was what you come to expect from Carrabba’s but the star was the service. She was attentive, took time to answer any questions and even more closer to my father-in-law when she noticed his hearing difficulties. She even brought lemons without anybody asking!(Back home in Florida, we have to give a kidney for lemons after you ask for them.)

Tried to grab a late lunch today and wound up leaving without eating. First we were told there would be a short wait. No problem. Not offered bar seating which was available. When we asked about it the hostess said it was first come first serve so we said we would like to sit there. Then were told we had to wait again because there were only three servers. While another couple came up to the hostess and pointed to the bar seating and she told them go ahead. Then they took the empty clean booth so we had to wait yet again for a booth to be cleaned. When asked what the difference between us and the other couple was and why they were able to sit by the bar and we had to wait, the hostess had no answer. We left and went where we felt more welcome, and ended up having a great lunch at outback where they had great service.

It’s a chain it’s close to the hotel it’s ten o’clock at night and we’ve been on the road for nine hours yup and we are hungry soooo yep we ended up here. What did I get um spaghetti and meat sauce and a side salad. Nothing to write about per se. Our service was solid the food hard to mess up per what I ordered. Nothing really to say as it is what it is and it fancy lol so not gonna make a big deal out of it.

Despite the review from the patron who will never return because of the server Lindsay, I stopped by for dinner tonight. It’s Saturday, but I arrived at 5:30 before the rush. I was seated and greeted promptly. «Hi, my name is Lindsay and I’ll be your server.» Oh NO! Well, as it turns out, they had two Lindsay’s, one of whom left. The Lindsay that served me did a great job. Everything came out very quickly — bread, salad, entrée and dessert. All items were fresh and tasty. Had a bit of fun with Lindsay over the other review. The manager also stopped by my table to make sure everything was okay and we chatted for a while. This Carrabba’s is a good one based on my visits.

This was definitely a sub-par visit, and very disappointing. We’d called ahead for 6:30 because we knew Saturday evening would be very busy. Our afternoon plans changed, so we called and changed to 7:30. We arrived about 7:10, and were told it would be about 10 minutes. We weren’t seated until 7:40, after asking the hostess about the delay. Our server was Jamal, and his service was the most disappointing effort I’ve EVER seen at Carrabba’s. We sat for nearly 10 minutes before he(or anyone else) even came to speak, much less greet us or take a drink order. When he finally arrived, we actually placed the entire order. It took another 10 minutes for bread to appear, and no one ever bothered to ask whether we wanted more bread or more oil and herbs for dipping. We ordered a pitcher of sangria — if you’re going to serve it with glasses of ice and fruit, why would you then ALSO completely fill up the pitcher with ice(unless, of course, you’re wanting to skimp on the wine in the $ 28 pitcher). Once our order was placed, however, the runners that handled the salads and the meals were timely and very efficient. It would’ve been better had Jamal come back to check on the meals before we were half-way finished with them, but, fortunately, we had no problems with the food. Refills of tea were rather slow. We’ve eaten here many times, but this was by far the worst experience we’ve had, and if we hadn’t had good experiences previously, this visit would’ve put us off Carrabba’s(at least this store) entirely.

I recently visited this restaurant on Saturday and our waitress was very rude and disrespectful. Her name was Lindsay, she was uninterested in being our waitress as soon as we were assigned to her. She was solely focused on getting off. She wasnt helpful. I felt disrespected the entire time. It got to the point where we asked for another server and when she was approached by her manager about the situation she laughed. We were able to get a new server who was extremely late and as she was leaving, she chuckled and told our server goodbye because she had gotten off. I will never come back to this restaurant solely off of how we were treated by her.

About 7:30, we stopped at Carrabba’s Wednesday night after business in Macon. Wow, a 35-minute wait on a Wednesday night! We chose seats in front of the grill kitchen to avoid the wait. It took a few minutes to get noticed, but everything was great after that. Our server(sorry, I don’t remember his name) was great. I had the pork tenderloin wrapped in prosciutto and my husband had Spedini du Mare. Both were wonderful. I wish they still left the bottles of olive oil on the table. Their bread and dipping herbs are fabulous and we always run out of olive oil quickly and have to get someone to pour more. That is my ONLY complaint!

I eat here every time I’m in Macon for business. On Mondays, they have a great deal where you can get an appetizer and soup or salad and an entrée for a great price. The staff is always friendly. My only complaint is my salad always seems to look and taste a little old. The lettuce is more yellow than green. Besides that, I love every meal I have tried!

When we arrived the parking lot was full but we were able to get a table right away. I had the wood fired salmon which was very good. Service was very good also. We’ll stop on return trip.

I haven’t been to Carrabba’s since the new renovation. I was really disappointed in the new décor that has tables thrown everywhere. The food was not great. The cheese sauce on my pasta was separated and just now good. I used to always get the Sirloin Marsala and I guess I should have stuck with it. The waiter kept forgetting things but was a nice enough guy. When my meal started off with a salad that had ice all over it(no kidding, like shaved ice covering half of it), I should have seen what was coming. The sangria is still awesome!!! If you want to get some drinks, they are still delicious.

Easy access off 75. Comfort food that hits the spot. Look for coupons on the first page, looked like an ad, I looked right over it. William M. was our server and very pleasant. Thank you William!!!

I went to Carrabba’s here in Macon tonight for dinner. I was alone so I was hoping to bypass the mandatory 20 min minimum wait time. I chose the only remaining seat at the bar(in front of the brick pizza oven) and it was on the corner by where the wait staff enter and exit the kitchen. The AC was blowing directly on me and it was in the 20s outside. It was cold. After a 15 min wait I was finally greeted. I ordered a dinner appetizer combo. I received the appetizer after another 20 min. Following that I waited 15 more min and had to flag down the manager for a drink refill. Another 15 min and the included soup never came nor did the chosen entrée. At this point I walked out. All the while the entire staff was going in and out of the kitchen, bumping into me each time yet consistently failing to notice me. Thumbs down…

Excellent wait service. Food was overpriced and underpowered, but that’s just how it is at Carrabba’s and most other Italian chain restaurants. I can tolerate that, but what I can’t tolerate is filth. The place was disgusting. The first table the hostess tried to seat us at was visibly greasy, so we asked to be seated elsewhere. No one bothered to wipe the grease off before a second couple was seated at that same table. Even more awful was the floor. There was food and trash EVERYWHERE we looked – mashed up bread, straw wrappers, cloth napkins, and crumbs. What kind of clientele does this place attract? Maybe it was just an off night. We may give them another try given the limited options in Macon.

Standard Carraba’s menu, but almost everything we had was overcooked. My martini didn’t even fill the glass and tasted more like syrup than spirits. The pasta was pitiful in the PicPac, and the chicken in my Pollo Rosa Maria was tough. The service was unenthusiastic and mediocre at best. In their defense, we have enjoyed this location for over ten years and have not been this generally displeased before. This was hopefully just an off day.

3.5 stars. This is a good Carrabba’s — service and ambience were fine. Carrabba’s has a very meaty Italian menu. Our food was reasonably well prepared. They do pretty well for a chain.
