Every other time I have been here it has been great. There are about 3 other people in here at lunch time, and the pizza is cold and hard and the lettuce is starting to brown. Not a fan today.

I decided to post because I have had 3 instances where the staff (including the managers) have taken money at the register, then proceeded to prepare the pizzas without washing their hands. I witnessed A staff member cleaning the ladies restroom toilets. She walked past me as I was standing at the sink waiting for my niece. We walked out behind her as she returned to refill the salad bar without washing her hands. We also witnessed staff leave the building and returning to work without washing. A female manager explained to me that there was absolutely no need to wash her hands after taking money because she was planning to put on gloves before putting toppings on the pizzas. I reminded her that she had already began prepping the dough. She was furious with me. I requested a refund as I usually do. I also suggested that the manager take a class in Serve Safe because wearing gloves without washing your hands is also unsanitary.

Stevi B’s bears about as much resemblance to real pizza as Taco Bell does to authentic Mexican food. I feel nothing but vast amounts of shame and self-​loathing for having eaten here.
The staff were friendly though. In Macon that’s a rarity. Plus one star for that alone.

For an über-​kid-​friendly pizza buffet, the food is really quite good: They use a good tomato sauce for their traditional pizzas and the other pizzas (macaroni and cheese, baked potato, hot wing, taco, etc.) all manage to pull off what they’re looking to do. There is a pretty nice salad bar as well.
With that all said, the best thing about Stevi B’s is not the food, but the staff. Every time I go there the workers make me feel welcome and show with their attitudes and smiles that they are happy to be working there — which always puts me in a good mood for the rest of my day.
They will make you any pizza you want with the ingredients they have on-​hand, so don’t think you’re limited by what is in the buffet.

I type this with greasy fingers… This place is AWESOME. Passing through Macon from Florida where we have CiCi’s pizza that follows the same buffet pizza formula. The difference here is StevieB’s does it well. I had no idea going in that I would try (and rave over) hot wing pizza, baked potato pizza, cheeseburger pizza, and more. The breadsticks are amazing and the Alfredo sauce wasn’t runny and processed. Gotta go, the S’Mores pizza and Lemon drop pizza is calling my name!
