Reject all apostates. Rally the faithful. This place is the Mecca of pizza in the mid-state. Listen, this is the best stoner pizza south of Fellini’s. All the other places around here cannot compete. They may offer you dough to give them a good review or have a whole bunch of shakin’ goin’ on, but they can twist and shout all the want: IVP is the VIP of pizzas around here. The velvet rope parts for them while the others wait outside the club. In a slow moving line.

IVP is a wonderful little locally owned pizza place. Great atmosphere, great service and great pizza! I had the lunch special and it really hit the spot! Although I am here for lunch, they have quite the selection of domestic and foreign brews! Don’t miss out… It’s worth the trip! Tina will make you feel right at home… Cheers!

Let’s be fair, Ingleside pizza wouldn’t earn any Michelin stars, but it also does the concept well. The concept being, «country style pizza». Not sure if I just invented that term, but its where you load it up with every ingredient at your disposal and throw it on top of a pizza crust. I had a pepperoni and the ultimate village pizza slices, both were good. The quality of pepperoni wasn’t spectacular, but it did the trick and on the upside, there was lots of it. They really do get an extra star just for being generous with their toppings. There was a downside and that’s the concept of «pizza by the slice» that the owners might not quite grasp. When a person orders a pizza by the slice, they expect the pizza to be ready, well, right away. I had to wait about 30 minutes for two slices of pizza and that was just way too darn long when this was just a stop on the drive to Atlanta. When I order slices, I want them now. When I order a full pizza(any size), I’ll wait. So it’s funny they claim to be a «New York Style» pizza joint when they can’t service slices in true New York style. Anyways, I wouldn’t recommend ever going out of your way to come here, but it surely beats the rest of chain infested streets in Macon. Something about Ingleside Village Pizza had a pleasant and genuine vibe. It’s a locals place where folks come to socialize and enjoy a meal, I can respect that.

Excellent! Only thing that could make it any better would be if they delivered. Great pizza! Chose you after reading your Unilocal reviews, glad we did!

It is so frustrating. This place is right around the corner, and I have tried to like it. But not so much. It takes forever! Over an hour for 2 slices. And when I go pick up my order, there is no one to be found. It takes another 20 min to check out. And for what? The pizza is average at best.

Been going as long as it’s been open, I will go as long as they spin the pies. If you are in Macon and want to true taste of Macon go to IVP.

This is the best pizza I have had in Macon. The sloppy breadsticks did not disappoint so give them a try. Service was quick and friendly. I will definitely be back when I am in town.

Anytime I’m asked for a recommendation on somewhere to grab a bite to eat in Macon«Ingleside Village Pizza» rolls off my tongue before I can think twice. In reading some reviews below I will agree, if you don’t care for the perfect balance of crunch(your pizza is not«burnt», its baked in a brick oven), the freshest ingredients and bless my poor lactose intolerant body, the CHEESIEST of cheesy pies, IVP is NOT the place for you. However, if you read that and aren’t headed their way now, I know it’s only because it’s Monday and unfortunately, they’re closed. Noted: — Dine in vs. Take out: You’ll still be greeted with the same face, it’ll taste just as good in their dining room as on your couch, its simply a choice of «how long can I wait to taste this piece of heaven». –There is no such thing as «too many toppings» when it comes to a pie from IVP. Whether you’re eating a slice or dared for the large, GOFORIT. –There is no question when it comes to regular over«extra sloppy» breadsticks, extra sloppy, always. YOU’REWELCOME. –They are always packed. Order your pie, grab a beer and enjoy the view. You won’t be waiting too long.

I have yet to try the infamous garlic knots, but I love this place! Their pizza is delicious and cheesy(I love cheesy! Haha) and the staff is very personable and professional. Definitely my current favourite pizza joint in Macon! AND they’re only 5 minutes from my house!

We had the garlic knots, sloppy style, and a large village ultimate. Yum! We could’ve(should’ve) gotten the medium. Oy!

Above average very tasty pizza. Order your pizza and drinks at the window first, and then take a seat. It gets busy(we went on a Wednesday around 6:15 pm), so be prepared to wait. Excellent beer selection with plenty of options for every preference. Menu offers pizzas, subs, and salads. No calzones. Garlic knot/breadstick action was super good. Our group of 9 adults ordered two sets of breadsticks and three large specialty pies and it was the perfect amount for all all of us hungry people. Eclectic décor and hipstery-kitchy vibe appeals to families and teens and college kids. Would go back if ever in Macon again.

Visiting Macon and found this little«slice» of heaven! Pun intended??? The bread sticks were perfect! The extra $ 1 was worth it to make the breadsticks extra sloppy! Actually got another order for take out! The ultimate pizza had massive toppings! The white pizza hit the spot as well! Ingredients tasted fresh!

Two words… sloppy breadsticks! They are a must-have when eating at Ingleside Village Pizza! Their pizzas and salads are also very good. It can get busy at times but you never have to wait that long. A great local place that is good for families or dinner with friends.

The pizza was ok. Nothing to write home about. The toppings on the ultimate were tasty but the crust was very similar to that of the frozen pizza you can buy at the grocery store. I did love the breadsticks; lots of butter and garlic and cheese. They were perfect.

I’ve never had a bad experience here! Absolutely delicious every time! Salads are always crisp & fresh, pizza is always gooey & hot, the subs are toasty & yummy, and the bread sticks are to die for. I’m not kidding. If you don’t get your breadsticks sloppy, you’re not doing it right! IVP has a great beer selection too. It’s such a cool place with amazing food– I don’t think l know anyone from Macon who doesn’t love IVP!

Came here based on a recommendation by a random on Okcupid. She claimed this was her favorite restaurant in Macon. I came in, the joint was rather empty. I ordered veggie and their signature combination pizza on an empty stomach that had zero calorie intake for 7 hours. After a slow wait of 8 min, I finally received my order. Upon the delivery of my order, I heard rather old gentleman state that«this was the best pizza I’ve ever had.» Needless to say I was stoked, besides my grumbling stomach. The humongous slice of pizza wasn’t much to look at, but hey, it’s the flavor and composition of ingredients that matter right? Well, IVP doesn’t deliver. The pizza was a very standard pizza that just piles on cheese and standard toppings. That’s just it. On a positive note, each slices are very cheap and brings filling portion. Price point should really be one $. I give my sympathy towards the random girl on Okcupid and the old gentleman, for they have not experienced the true ecstasy that one could derive from pizza experience.

We are from out of town and found this place on Unilocal. Was a great choice! Garlic knots were wonderful and the pizza(cheese and ultimate) was awesome. We sat«outside» which is covered and closed and had heaters so it was comfortable. Interesting décor and great music. The staff was very friendly. Completely recommend this place!

We’re fairly new resident in middle Georgia, but Ingleside has secured the position of our go-to for pizza! Always fast, friendly service and an experience that’s unmatched in Macon. Those garlic dots? OHMY… buttery goodness! They’re the perfect combo of Parmesan cheese & that Signature Ingleside dough & sauce … they melt in your mouth! But the pizza is the star! Not only is it tasty, but this made fresh to order pie is addictive!
