This Kroger is the best! They work very hard to keep fully stocked. I have NEVER had anything bad from this Kroger. The front end is very well managed. No long lines to wait in, the grocery clerks step forward with help to unload your buggy onto the check-out line. I am elderly and this helps soooo much so that I don’t have to stoop and unload that buggy. The cashiers are always pleasant and friendly. From the bakery, deli, produce, meat, general foods, and general merchandise, and even the pharmacy… I love my Kroger!!!

I’m new to the South and had never shopped at a Krogers before coming down to Macon. Where I live, the closest options are Kroger or the super-WalMart across Zebulon. I always prefer to shop at this Kroger in lieu of the Wal-Mart. It is clean, has organic options, and the staff is always considerate.

I think this might be the saddest Kroger I’ve ever visited. It felt really old and outdated on the inside, which is surprising, given that it’s one of the newer ones in the area. It was really dark and dingy. The cheese kiosk near the deli was half empty. The produce section was only half filled as well, and what little produce was there was wilted & rotting. As I moved my way over towards the meat & seafood counters in the back, I was overtaken by an incredibly strong smell of bleach. I’m not talking about a mere hint of bleach aroma, but rather it was so strong that I instantly started to feel light-headed. I walked back to the front, picked out a loaf of bread(the whole reason why I stopped in in the first place) from their rather paltry bread selection, and checked out. When I got home I discovered that the bread had already started to mold on the underside. I’m never going to this location again, and I strongly suggest that everyone else avoid it as well.
