I’m not usually one to write a review, however if you’re like me and just drove 20 minutes out of them way to eat here I think you should know. It’s more of a hibachi place. You basic shopping center hibachi nothing special. They have like 4 different sushi rolls none of which are seafood free. If you’re looking for a Japanese place this is not the one, but if you’re looking to pick up some wings for a tailgate this is where you want to go.

This spot is a hidden gem for sushi in Macon. The hibachi is pretty good; the fried rice is excellent. Prices are phenomenal! Good food, cheap! Drinks are actually included in the hibachi meals, so that is a bonus. The star of the show, though, was their spicy tuna roll. It was genuinely delicious! I also had a three-roll combo that included tuna, salmon, and eel rolls, and it was a great value and good meal. Don’t let the location and name of the joint put you off. It is well worth a trip to this off-the-beaten-path small business.

Got my usual lemon pepper wings with fries but after reading some reviews I may give their sushi a try. Like everyone else I was put off by the name so I decided to play it safe by getting wings. I had some leftover wings the next day, warmed them up a little and they were still juicy!

Ok, so at first I was a little skeptical of the name. Deli and sushi at the same time?! Weird! I purchased the dynamite fried sushi and chicken and steak habachi. It’s cheap and oh so good. I’ve been craving habachi since the weekend, but didn’t have anyone to go with me. This will be my new spot to curve my cravings. Don’t forget to grab a side of yum yum sauce. I don’t think I’ll ever purchase their American food though.

I should have known better but was curious to try it anyways. I ordered a philly cheese steak and a catfish dinner with fries for my husband. The fish was extremely dry, you could tell it was old by the taste and the philly cheese steak hardly had any meat. It was a complete waste of money! Very disappointed!

The service was slow. The chicken tenders were just like the ones in a school cafeteria. Yuck. The sushi was good… only reason that I gave two stars.

Great sushi and the price for the sushi is appropriate. The«deli» half leaves something to be desired. I would go for the sushi but nothing else. Had to wait 20 minutes for rice to be cooked when I ordered but they do have a nice flat screen to watch while you wait or eat. Sushi options are somewhat limited when compared to the other places in Macon that serve sushi.

Delicious food, large portions, reasonable prices! My husband and I had 3 rolls of sushi, hibachi chicken/steak, & hibachi shrimp with two drinks all for $ 32. We will be back!

These guys are the best, they make cheap food that is good and quickly served. We spend far too much money here and they even know me by name! Try the sushi people, it’s freaking amazing.

This place is great !!! My son, wife and myself went to this place and it was awesome. The menu is great we love the combination. I ordered a Philly with fries and a sushi roll while my wife and son shared a hibachi meal and a sushi roll. The sushi was simply amazing. The Philly and hibachi meal where good as well. The only thing that we both agreed on was maybe the should do the fried rice in a different oil or somthing along those lines it was good but they could make it a lot better. The restaurant itself was kept extremely clean which was a plus. I talk with the people that worked there and asked if there was another atl deli around they told us that this was the only one that did all of these different thing. We told them they would do great if they put one in henry county which is where we are from. I would definitely visit this restaurant a lot. But this is a must try if you live near them and haven’t been.

Like the post above, the name threw us off. Have been craving some yum yum sauce and inexpensive hibachi and have found it. Will definitely be back.

So the name itself seems slightly strange and is what kept us from trying out the place for a while the combination of deli food mixed with sushi just seemed strange. Out of pure curiosity my wife and I decided to go check it out. I was very surprised by the freshness and taste of the food. The prices are very good and the sushi taste competes with Taki’s sushi. The portion sizes are enormous we got the chicken fried rice and it was enough to feed 4 people. And one major thing that stood out to me was that their yum yum sauce is all you can eat. They have a huge bottle by the drinks that you can take as much as you need at no extra cost. We love this place and hope that people try it out and get past the name. I highly recommend it.
