Simply Mac

SIMPLY Mac is exactly what it is. Do not go to this place and expect anything to be fixed. My phone needed to be replaced due to hardware problems and they would not exchange even though it is only 2 months old and under warranty. Just keep driving to Atlanta if you want any kind of problems to be fixed. Also, the woman behind the counter was very smug in her answers on how she can NOT help me. I think she was actually enjoying my frustration. This is the 2^nd time they have not been able to help me with a computer or phone. The store is only good if you want to buy an overpriced phone cover that you can get on Amazon for ½ the price.

Fake Apple Store The support desk is awful. They constantly over charge people for what should be covered by apple care. Had apple care agent the on the phone to tell them my MacBook was a warranty repair and still would not work on it. Just drive to Atlanta or Augusta those are real stores.

Every time I visit the store the staff is always extremely friendly and never pushy. Anytime I have questions they always have an answer. They even have an official trainer that works with you if you wish. The trainer is by far the most patient person I’ve seen in a store like that.
I’ve also had to bring in my computer several times to have it worked on and while the line was long every time I visited the sales reps would always check on me routinely and even show me some of the new products to help pass the time.
Very positive experience all around I would definitely recommend!

I don’t get all the customer service complaints. I went in thinking everyone was would be an ass, but they were the friendliest employees. Greeted when I first walked, took care of my problem in less than 20 minutes. All the other customers very being helped in a timely manner.

Very helpful. We shop at peachmac a lot. The store is always clean and the staff is there but not pushy.

Me — «Can I try this case on one of your display macbooks before I spend $ 50 and purchase this product?»
Customer Service — «You can not. You would trigger our alarm system if you removed one of our Macs from the display.»
Me — «I’m holding your Mac in my hand…»
Customer Service — «Yeah, put it back.»

I was disgusted with the service here. My friend has regularly gone here for service for his Mac so I assumed I would expect quality service. I was sorely wrong. I waited over almost an hour to get help at the service desk. There were 2 people at the service desk the whole time yet they were never with a customer. Yes I signed in on the computer to fill out a service request form. The entire time I sat there while the two service individuals kept chatting with one another. I asked if they could help and they told me to wait until they called my name, or they’d say «be with you in a minute» or they’d just duck off into the back to avoid me. It was a Friday at 12:30 so they had a small but constant group of people in the store so it wasn’t like it was a slow day. At one point they just ignored me to leave for their lunch break. Finally they see me and say they can’t find anything wrong with my Mac despite the very obvious graphic glitches and the constant rainbow wheel on my screen. They told me they’d need it for 5 business days just to do a routine diagnostic which is absurd. They did my friend’s in an hour last month. Never going here again. If you’re a college student definitely don’t go here because they’ll treat you like some dumb kid who’s customer service isn’t as important a 40 year old’s. I hope the manager of the store reads this as I’m furious with my treatment today.

This site does not even list the accessories they have on the website. Its a sub par apple dealer and does not properly represent the apple quality. The people in the store are nice and pretty helpful. Its just the set up of the business that is kinda bad.

So I’m in Macon for a few days for work and stopped in the PeachMac store partly out of a need for a new iPhone battery and partly because I wanted yet another opportunity to talk myself out of replacing my netbook with a new Macbook. As was the case with another reviewer, nobody acknowledged my existence until I’d wandered around the store for about 15 mins. On top of all that they didn’t have the item I needed.

Wow! I just read the other reviews for this store and things must have really really changed! Customer service was zero! I personally hate to shop in a store where they do not even acknowledge your presence and no one can be bothered to help you. Here I was– totally ready to purchase my tricked out 15.4 inch macbook pro– but why drop 2000+ in a store where you are being totally ignored? I was truly insulted and would rather drive to atlanta or just order online. I mean– seriously– it’s 5PM on a Thursday– you’re not crowded… at all, and I can’t get any help? Nope. You can’t get my business and for what it’s worth– I plan on advising everyone to do the same. Thanks for nothing!

Thank you for opening in Macon. We seriously needed a strong Apple presence in central Georgia, and Peach Mac might even be better than Apple’s own stores. The staff is knowledgable, and their inventory is plentiful. While I would rather have seen them downtown, I’m very glad they’re here.
When I went in to purchase my 27″ iMac, they didn’t have the one I wanted in the store, but the manager picked up one himself from their Athens store for me. I had it the next night. Very cool. That’s what customer service should be.

PeachMac opened in Macon, GA just a few months ago and has already been a great asset! The staff there is amazing! Unlike the Apple Stores in Atlanta, this place is smaller, but the staff spends more time with you than the apple stores do since its focused on the Middle GA area!
We have already used there help in setting up bootcamp, getting a new hard drive for my wife’s mac, and just random Mac questions!
They sell mostly all apple products including accessories!
Noah has been great to work with! You should come here for your Mac needs if you are in Macon rather than driving up to Atlanta’s Mac Stores…
