As Walmart’s go his is one of the better ones. Stocked full of merchandise. Pretty clean isles and store. Many registers open at all times. Gas prices great.

This Wal-Mart is the cleanest and nicest in Macon and I have been to them all. You can got during the weekday mornings and it will almost be empty. You can actually find a line to check out and get in /out in a hurry.

This is the better Walmart super center in the Macon area for several reasons. Easy to get in and get out. Other stores nearby like Lowes, Kroger, Kohl’s, several fast food places, banks, professional buildings– mainly doctors and a post office. Most of your errands can be done within a half mile radius here. The traffic design has allowed for easy flow even at high traffic times. Great location just off of I-475 putting it to the very west and north in Macon and I believe still Bibb County. Very clean Walmart. This is the Walmart that Walmart employees want to transfer to or that’s what I see. The employees that I’ve met are very friendly and helpful, that is all but one. Likely she didn’t last long as I haven’t seen her in a year or more. This is a very clean Walmart partly because of Miss P or more properly referred to as Mrs. Brown. She keeps the floors up and treats them like they were in her own kitchen: VERYCLEAN. This store is more likely to stock items that other Walmarts in town have run out of quickly. Not sure why it seems to me that they stock this store first before the others but that’s been the case on a few things. Once I was buying paint and the Walmart on Gray highway sent me here because they’d run out of a pigment to make the color I was wanting. Ironically, the shade of paint was that of gray. It does have a gas station and it’s situated off a side road which some Walmarts don’t do. Most fuel court designs at Walmarts are confusing to navigate but not this design. They should use this as a model for future stores. The way the traffic lights are set up, it’s very easy to get in and get out. You will not wait five minutes for your turn to get on the road. Ask for Mrs. P. who sweeps the floor as she’s a very kind lady who works there. If you do ask for her or should see a smallish black lady with a broom in her hand, say hello. Mentioning that this review suggested asking about her to say hello, will give her a laugh and she’ll likely say only one person would have done this. She’s a very good person. Once I had finished shopping there and in part of what I’d bought, had a bottle of wine which fell out and broke in the entrance way, making a big mess. Nothing I could do but tell the greeter I’m sorry but this broke. My fault, my loss. Well, they called Miss P to clean up the mess. By this time I was long gone. She later told me that she«knew» it had to be me that did this. Well, it was me but not on purpose of course. Hey, that stuff costs money. But, that’s the level of camaraderie you may discover here. People who help you find what you’re looking for, share a joke with, or someone who you see again and again as family. Please note, I am praising Mrs. Brown but not related to her. Miss P and Mr. Arthur are a couple of reasons why people come back to this store. They are real. They are sincere and they make you feel welcome like you’re a new member at their church or in their home. Yeah, Mr. Arthur is another fixture of this store who goes beyond the basic employee call of duty to help people. Go there once, you will come back.
