The pizza is just average. I’ve had frozen that is better than this. The thing that bothers me more than the unfriendly service, and mediocre pizza is that this place is always filthy. Hours old food left on the tables and I can’t stand to constantly be stepping on food on the floors. Me N Ed’s should be ashamed.

Order a pizza last night very very disappointed they told us it will be an hour wait which is understandable it’s a Saturday night well 1 hour turned into 2 hours and 15 minutes pizza was very cold and expensive called to speak to a manager they placed me on hold for 25 minutes and picked up the phone and hung up by this point I’m extremely pissed called back and the number was busy for the rest of the night I will never order from this place again!

Ordered a pizza. They said 45 minutes for delivery. Took almost two hours to get here. Pizza was cold. Bullshit.

I’m a big fan of this Me-n-Eds. The staff is very respectful and out of the 1344324 times we’ve ordered from there, they’ve never gotten our orders wrong. They also deliver in a timely manner which is always a plus.

I like me and Eds just not in madera. 50 plus minutes for a pizza. When we went in there was no one else in the store. I can understand if your busy but, that was ridiculous. My family and I will never go into this establishment again.

Not only is their food great but they are also amazing people! I work for the National Runaway Safeline and today we had a young individual who is in the area and had not eaten in 2 days. Our team thought to call a restaurant that was close to the individual to see if they had anything leftover that they would be able to spare until the individual was able to get food stamps and more resources in the morning. We spoke to Ed, the manager great guy!, and he without hesitation said he would fix this individual a fresh hot meal for the night. This is a great place and really has a kind heart. Thank you Me-N-Eds PIzzeria for helping this individual getting food for the night.

Not sure why this location has been getting such poor reviews. I’ve been coming to this location for quite some time now and I’ve always been satisfied with the customer service. I was ordering sandwiches semi-regularly for a while and after some time staff already knew what I wanted when I called in my order. You can’t say that about a lot of places anymore. Even with the opening of a couple of other pizza joints in town, I still think they have the best pizza locally. As with any place that puts out a good product, I expect a place to be busy and have a longer than average wait time on the weekend(Thurs-Sunday). On other days of the week if I order a pizza my order is ready within 20 – 25 minutes which is the average time to prepare/bake a pizza. As for the ranch issue someone else called them out on, ranch dressing is not cheap like ketchup. Even if their Ranch comes from a packet it is still fresh and I can taste the buttermilk in comparison to the cheap packaged crap a lot of other restaurants in town serve. I am willing to pay extra for the good stuff. Just saying.

They put me on hold for about 3 min. the 1st time I called. I had to hang up and call back because they weren’t going to take my order. When I called back, they tried putting me on hold again, so I told them I wanted to place my order and I wouldn’t hold so they hung up on me. I called a 3rd time and someone else answered and took my order. I then asked to speak to a manager to let him know that his employees are hanging up on customers… as a business owner I know every single customer matters and should be treated with respect. It’s a managers basic duties to make sure your employees are not keeping customers away. The manager I spoke to did not seem concerned at all. When my delivery arrived they had forgotten the ranch that I paid for. Probably on purpose. Shame on the manager for not making sure that the already dissaponted customer received his meal as ordered. I’ve been a customer since moving here 6 years ago, I’ve seen there service decline every year since. They’ve lost a customer for life. I hope the owner reads this post and makes some changes… Update: my original post was written right after they forgot ranch on my delivery. Well the horrible experience did not end there. the pizza was for my kids, they ALL got sick after eating this pizza. My eldest threw up the same night! Who f’n knows what they put in it. Stay away from this place!!! Worse me n eds in the valley! Corporate take notice!!!

On 4⁄6 we drove down to Madera to celebrate my dad’s 55th birthday and decided to get pizza. We arrived before our guest and ordered the pizza so that it would be fresh and hot when they arrived. Nope, not even close… Two pizzas took nearly 50 minutes to baked? I had to ask my sister to check on them before the 60 minute mark was up, really almost an hour? Sauce was skimpy, bare to none on the mushrooms and overall quality of pizza bland. I have had way better pizza in at other facilities in the Central Valley. Most likely won’t be back anytime soon and will stick to my Me N Eds on Herndon and West.

After 45 minutes on a non crowded day they realized our ticket didn’t print… Amongst their chit chatting maybe they should pay attention to their customers not eating! Apologetic but can’t super speed food so I can get my daughter to her game on time. Ridiclous!

Another great experience with this location. This time I ordered online. ½ Italiano and ½ All Meat. It was made perfectly. When I went in to pick up, the staff was friendly, quick and efficient! I have never had a bad pizza from this location!

Wish I could give no stars. Was unhappy with my order. Called to speak to the manager, Ed, who was too«busy» to get on the phone apparently. Got to talk to three other people, including Sharon the«assistant», who apparently doesn’t know she’s a manager cuz I asked her. Finally got Ed on the phone. What a dolt. Talk about $hi&&y customer service. I’ll never go there again and will get on every social media site I know to spread the word. I manage a retail store and bend over backwards to make my customers happy. Get a clue Ed. Can’t even imagine how they stay in business with his lackadaisical attitude. I wasn’t even asking that he replace the entire order, which was a large pizza, I only asked that he give my roommate a personal pizza since they screwed up her half. Unreal. Just lost a loyal customer..

This place, just disappoints me. I want so badly to like ordering pizza from here because the food is actually really good. The customer service is just terrible. I ordered a pizza for myself and my family on a Friday night. They took down my address and my credit card information, told me it would be delivered in about 45 minutes. Well an hour and a half later, my pizza still had not arrived… I called up and they informed me that my pizza was ready to be picked up… why would I be picking up my pizza when I clearly ordered it for delivery. I understand that mix ups happen and whatnot but instead of apologizing for their mistake and offering to deliver me a new pizza, they told me I could come and pick up the one that had been sitting on the counter for an hour… well no thank you very kindly.

Me n Ed’s Pizza is probably the best example of California brick oven pizza on the West Coast. The toppings are fresh and the dough passes the ultimate test, it is still great the next day cold. The problem isn’t with the pizza, the service or even the restaurant but something that I hope doesn’t become a trend; charging for ranch dressing. When Me n Ed’s changed their pricing, they began charging for jalapeños and ranch dressing. Before, they would load a bag up with more than you could use. Now if you want the little bag of goodies it will cost you a quarter per one ounce cup. Now I agree that if you want raw jalapeños you should pay for those. That is a topping. Even if it’s not on the pizza when it goes into the oven it is still a topping but ranch dressing is a condiment. It is no difference that ketchup on French fries or steak sauce on a hamburger. I called every sit down pizza restaurant in Madera and other than Me n Ed’s, not one of them charges for ranch dressing. I called IHOP, Denny’s and Perko’s, not one charges for ranch dressing if you ask for it for your French fries. I found only one other place that charges for ranch dressing and that was Hooters in Fresno. When Me n Ed’s changes their employee uniforms and gives me the show Hooters does, then I’ll pay a quarter for ranch dressing. Until then it is a condiment! When the price change happened the restaurant also took red pepper and grated Parmesan cheese off of the table and put it into littler cups. All of the other pizza places in town have these items in containers on the table for you to shake on your pizzas. So the customer could use what they wanted and there would be no waste. Now with the tiny cups there is more waste. There is even more expense; they have to buy the cups. Not to mention that they go directly to our landfill. The restaurant needs to ditch the cups and let their customers use the ranch in the salad bar that they have in large containers. How often do they have to throw away unused dressings in the salad bar? How much are those damn cups? Send Me n Ed’s a message. Just say no to ranch dressing surcharges. Bring your own bottle or better yet go some where else until the Ferdinandi boys figure out that condiments should come with your meal. And to the cashier at the Madera Me n Ed’s who said, «It’s not in the rule book that we provide Ranch with your pizza», well it is in the rule book that the customer is always right. It’s the number one rule.
