I have always liked their pizza. In fact my elderly now deceased Mother had her wedding reception there when she remarried nearly four years ago. Unfortunately I opted to use my cell phone to place my delivery order and must not have done something right as an hour and half later it had still not arrived. I called and they had no record of my order. I drove over and they rushed my new oder through. They were polite, sympathetic and even asked about my stepfather. I jokingly said he was at home and hungry. The pizza was itself was perfect. No complaints there.

I had worked in the food business for a long time. This place has the cleanest kitchen in any restaurant I’ve ever seen. The manager ladies are on top of things when it comes to sanitation. I worked here long ago and have worked at other R.T. ‘s after(with much better experiences). As for Madera’s Round Table, I can say even though it has been nearly 20 years, is that I have never had to deal with customers like the ones here. You have the holier than thou types«I know Bill» –s and to be flat out spit at and threatened when the beloved salad bar is closed at 9:30 pm on a weeknight. If you choose to eat here on a Friday or Saturday night YES! the wait time will be 45 minutes or longer. THISISNOT A FASTFOODJOINT! and YES it is expensive! Please don’t abuse these workers. They already put up with Madera’s worst. Go eat at some other place that has a grimey filthy kitchen and shorter wait time that will honor your expired coupon. I write this because I see that things here have not changed. I see the folks that have«threatened»(oh please) they will never come back again– Come back! yes they DO! Because it doesn’t get any better than this place in THIS town.

Not sure why all the meh reviews, maybe the dining in experienced really isn’t great but I’ve only had delivery for lunch and have been quite pleased. The pizza crust is just right, not too greasy, and they’re ridiculous when it comes to how much they put on for the toppings. I know that doesn’t fly w/everyone but I love it that way. Sauce is pretty good for a chain as well so I’ll keep stuffing my face with it.

Last night was by birthday and I decided to order from Round Table, stay at home, and just slob out. I called in the order and my husband went to pick it up. We ordered a large combo and some wings. They said it was still in the oven when he got there but when he got it home(which is only a block away) it was cold. OK The dough was raw the sauce was nasty and the wings… oh the wings… the skin was full of fat and they too weren’t cooked very well. I DON’T THINK I WILLBEORDERINGFROMTHEMAGAIN! What happened Round Table? You used-to-be the best pizza place in town. It’s like you guys just gave up.

Yummy overpriced pizza, today I ate in. Dirty tables and booths. Glass had fingerprints on them. Dead fly on the window sil. I seriously lost my appetite! And the drink cups are so tiny! The whole place just looks like it needs to be seriously disinfected!

This place is still a joke! Worst experience ever at any pizzeria. They tell you it’ll be ready at a certain time and they just keep extending the time. I’m officially done with this location.

Love their pizza!!! They’re quality never let me down. The only thing I’m iffy about it’s their waiting time. It’s too ridiculous long and sometimes I feel like the staff are idiots. But over all I can’t complaint about the food, delicious!

I’ll give this place three stars just for the pure nostalgia value. We walked here for field trips when I was in elementary school. Now going back as an adult it just makes my wallet hurt. It’s so ridiculously expensive and my friend and I waited 45 minutes on a Wednesday for a pepperoni pizza that we ordered for carryout… kinda annoying.

I have been a fan of Round Table Pizza for years. Of all the chain pizza places Round Table is by far the best. However, I have not been a fan of the local franchisee or his wife. It’s a personal thing that does not need to be explored in this review but it would be hypocritical of me not to acknowledge that there have been problems between us in the past. There is an old joke that says«Pizza is like sex, when its good it is really good and when it’s bad it’s still pretty good». I feel that was about nearly all the pizza locations in Madera(except Dicicco’s which is just too greasy). Even a hot Little Caesar’s Pizza is better that a salad with a side of broccoli. What Round Table, Me n Eds and the new Première Pizza have going for it is that it is still good for breakfast, cold right out of the refrigerator. Round Table offers some of the freshest toppings and their crust is awesome. The biggest problem I’ve had with the chain of restaurants is their prices are too high. One of the problems I had with the local franchisee is that when the chain offered a special on TV, he didn’t honor the special. I think because of increased competition and the economy tanking, the local franchisee is finally offering some very good deals to get you into the restaurant. He now has a one toping large for $ 9.99 and a midweek special which promises any of his large pizzas are only $ 12. I like this special so much, I usually order two(one for that night, one for breakfast and lunch the next day). In the last year the game room next to the restaurant was removed, but there are still a few games near the restrooms. They still offer two areas for group meetings or birthdays. While the footprint of the restaurant is smaller the high quality of food is still the same, and now their pizzas are priced at a more competitive level. If you haven’t been into the Madera Round Table Pizza in a while, it’s time to give them another chance. There are a lot of choices in Madera for pizza and right now the prices are family friendly.

It never fails and I need to learn not to be desperate for pizza. Every stinking time we order a Pepperoni Pizza on original crust, they have HUGE bubbles on the pizza. There are huge gaps between pizza sauce, cheese and dough. You’re truly only getting a small pizza when you order a medium. Also, the dough rises too high and it ends up too bread for the original style. I even went and asked if they changed their dough or methods and she told me it was bread heavy because it’s fresh. NEVER have these problems in Merced or Fresno Round Tables. Edit to add: went back today and ordered a pepperoni pizza with onion and roasted garlic and I didn’t get any garlic. I asked the lady where the roasted garlic was and she said«I don’t see any either, maybe the fairy dusted it on the sauce.» WTF?!!

Good pizza, lousy service, I ordered a large pizza for my family at 7.30 pm on a Sunday, they told me the delivery time was gonna be an hour and a half!!! Are u kidding me? That’s flat out ridiculous. No one in Madera has that time restraint. It was unbelievable. Obviously, I went to pick it up. 20 mins, but what a disservice and inconvenience and to say the least a waste of time. I only go back because of the great tasting pizza but service is well off the mark. I know round table will still do a lot of business because of their involvement in the Madera community. But if this business concept was a catapult to start a new business it would surely fail. I know the owner probably doesn’t read Unilocal or it would surely change for the better and it hasn’t. This is not the first time this time delay has happens to me. I don’t know why I do it to myself. They say insanity is doing the same things over and over and expecting a different result. Call me insane… Because I keep going back over and over and nothing has changed! Good luck people… I’m out !

Pizza is great. But I am tired of the madera round table nickle and dime-ing you to death! They never participate with the specials on tv and they charge you for items that should come with your food! Anything extra i understand but not even a starter !

Round Table is my favorite pizza and I have been craving it for a couple weeks! Only to be disappointed tonight in what I thought was going to be a delicious pepperoni pizza turned out to be thin, hard, and barely had any cheese on it! Ahhhh SOOOO disappointing!!!

Absolutely love their lunch specials! The personal pizza, salad, and fountain drink for under $ 9 is a steal! One con, it gets supper packed during lunch and it can be quite a wait if you don’t get there before 11:30am. Not to mention that after lunch hour the salad bar is pretty messy. So be there early if your work permits it is my advice.
