Pizza is very greasy for my taste. Staff is friendly though. Not a very sizeable restaurant so it’s best to eat at home instead of hanging their with friends.

Mountain Mikes in Madera is the best pizza you will ever get. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for as in anything you buy. Great, fresh quality and good customer service. I order a pizza with the white sauce, extra sausage and artichokes on the ham and bacon classic, have served at home to friends and to my son and his family and they all loved it. Now I save the newspaper adds and give them to friends and customers where I work. Love this place.

I was very displeased to say the least last time I came in over 2 years ago. I vowed never to come back. My last visit… The server who helped me was rude and not helpful. My 7 year old was hungry and wanted pizza from this place and boy I was not looking forward to eating here. My visit today has completely been the opposite! The girls here are wonderful and pleasant. They smile for one… something today place didn’t do before. The customer in front of me even told their order… The girl repeated the order and the customer said it was wrong when it came out. Whether it was or not… Without hesitation… The girl working here didn’t argue… She offered to make it right and made another pizza for them and put it in a to go box. I don’t care who you are… That is outstanding service right here. Madera stepped up their game! Well done ladies.

Solid lunch buffet for 6 bucks, 8 with a drink. Pizza is alright, nothing to die for. However, price makes it worth it.

Delicious pizza! My family and I come here every once in a while to get our pizza fix. It is always delicious! It’s a nice place if you want to watch the game, have a beer, and eat pizza. There’s about three TVs. They also have gluten free pizza! However, it is overpriced at $ 15 for a small pizza. I would give 5 stars for the pizza, however the prices bring it down to 4. Come here! You won’t be disappointed.

The pizza was good, but I was a bit disgusted by the ALLEGEDBUFFET. It is not a buffet at all. It is a self-service small or large salad, and you are watched as if you were a «convicted food thief». The service was a bit slow and our entire group felt dismissed by the staff, as if our money was not good enough. It was not very busy either. Although I thought the pizza was good, I won’t go back. I don’t need to waste money to be treated with such indifference.

My family and I would come enjoy a pizza here 1x per month. We went here two days ago the front end staff was very rude. We walked out and took our business elsewhere, we enjoyed a nice pizza at Me n Eds where they gladly made us our pizza how we asked. Will not be returning here due to poor customer service on several occasions! Shame on you Mountain Mikes Madera!!!

Interior is really nice. Clean and new. Bathrooms are nearly mint condition. But the food is where we found issues. Pizza crust was very odd. Very dry on the bottom. Very dense in the middle. More like a french bread and less like pizza dough. Would not eat it again. Its the exact opposite of chewy crispy moist pizzas. Its spongy, dense and dry. Also tried the chicken bites. They are clones of Tysons frozen chicken nuggets. Inedible. Not going to eat Mountain Mikes again.

My husband and I thought we’d give Mountain Mike’s a try since we’re all for supporting our local businesses and happen to be pizza lovers as well! We ordered our pizza to go and went in and picked it up. Upon walking in I had a good first impression, the restaurant was clean and looked like a fun pizza place with games and t. v’s, very family friendly. As I payed for our pizza and cheesy bread I was promptly greeted by friendly staff. I was very pleased with the service they provided from the time I called to place the order to picking up the food. I got our order and we began our drive home… Once in the car we took a peek, the pizza looked and smelled great. At this point we were pretty hungry and ready to dig in. When we got home we began eating only to find that the pizza looked a whole lot better than it tasted. The crust was the main problem for both the cheesy bread and pizza, they were just lacking something even though I couldn’t quite put my finger on it. It was almost a little cardboardy I wanna say! The sauce could have used a little help too. Honestly I’d love to give them one more try just because I really want them to do well. It’s nice to see Madera growing and I want to support the few businesses we have in our local community. But I’m on the fence and definitely hoping that if we do go back it would taste better than the last time. At least they have good people working for them, it really does make a the place more appealing. I gave them 3 stars just for that fact alone!

I’m surprised by some of the negative reviews here. My husband and I have been coming to Mountain Mike’s since it opened in spring of 2012 — and have probably visited 12 or 14 times. We typically order the Everest or pepperoni pizzas. They are always hot and delicious(and only once was one slightly overcooked). That said, we haven’t tried the wings or the salad bar, but we are completely happy with the pizza. For a chain pizza restaurant, it is pretty darn good!

Asked for BBQ wings, they gave me hot wings. Asked for a combo(McKinley) they gave me a pizza that consisted of just pepperoni, and mushrooms. WTF. Fuck this place, I will never come back

I’ve always been a fan of Mountain Mike’s. Their pepperoni has a good spicy bite to it and the specialty pizza’s were always super fresh and piled on with toppings(my favorite being the robber’s roost). I went here this saturday at about 8pm ordered a medium pizza for takeout. It was a big let down, it just wasn’t as good as other locations I’ve been to. The pizza was overdone, not as many toppings as I was accustomed to seeing, and the parlor wasn’t even busy. Oh well, the search for a good pie continues…

When I worked in Merced ions ago I used to eat at Mountain Mike’s all the time. I have always preferred a brick oven pizza like Me n Ed’s, Straw Hat or Downtown Pizza Café in Madera. Mountain Mike’s is one of the only conveyor ovens pizza’s I like. Round Table in Madera and all the Pizza Hut’s use conveyor ovens. The toppings on Mountain Mike’s pizzas were extremely fresh and tasty. I will probably be back to this place quite often. Now I know they are working out the kinks of just opening but there are a few things they need to work on. We went in for the lunch buffet and we had a hard time getting to the buffet. Every thing was shoved into a corner; salad, pizza and soda. A table was in the way of getting your food in a smooth flow. In fact the people who were sitting at that table moved because other customers were right on top of them the whole time they sat there. We were there are 11:45am and I felt the pizza’s were a little slow to come out and refill the station. There was a poster that said«Try Them All» with a stack of pizza’s advertising the«all you can eat buffet». I would have liked to have tried some of their specialty pizzas. I know what a combo and a pepperoni taste like. I would have liked to try The McKinley, The Everest or even Mt. St. Helens. I will try the buffet again. It was a good value at $ 5.99 without a drink or $ 6.99 with. At least they have the pizza buffet. I remember when Round Table would advertise a buffet on TV but the local guy(Bill Dawson) refused to offer one. As far as their pizza prices, they are up there with Round Table as the more expensive pizzas in town. But if you go to their website they have some coupons you can print out that brings them more in line. If you are planning a birthday party or having a meeting, they have a meeting room with TV’s. I plan on using it for my Little League post-season party. Anything that isn’t Round Table is a good thing in my book. Welcome to Madera Mountain Mike’s Pizza.
