I’ll admit it, I have a control problem when it comes to handmade, bath products. I love buying soaps and lotions that are made by real people using ingredients I can actually pronounce. All Good Things is this kind of place. We wondered into to inviting shop which is located in the heart of the downtown shopping district and were immediately greeted by one of the owners. She welcomed us and told us that they made almost everything in the store on site and to ask if we had questions. Rows of amazing soaps were displayed with hand-drawn signage explaining the ingredients and their properties. Generous sized bars are $ 5 for one and 6 for $ 25. I fell in love with one that smells of honey and vanilla and is topped with honeycomb. My parter in shopping bought a variety of six different bars for herself and her family. We also explored the lotions and masks in the side room. There I picked up a dry clay mask(that you mix with water at home) and a body butter. Both are going to be birthday presents for a friend who’s moving to a mountain climate soon and will need some skin help. All Good Things is one of those small business that I’m so glad to see surviving in a mass produced, box store world. The owners know all about their products because they actually make them with their own hands. I cannot wait to use and gift these items. Thank you for creating such wonderful things!

I’m not, by any means, what I’d consider a soft man. I kill insects and eat rare meat and I’m not afraid to fix select things around the house. I DO, however, appreciate good soap when I see it and All Good in beautiful downtown Madison has great soap. They have things ranging from bath bombs for kids to lotions and even a little section with tea in the back. Oh yeah, they have soap, too. I don’t know if Tyler Durden makes it in the house on Paper Street but this soap comes in a large variety of scents that are complex and delicate. When I go to town, this is one of the places that I always make an effort to stop by and when I can’t make it there, they have a pretty good website or you can just email them and let them know what you’re looking for. They also sell essential oils. I use tea tree oil to open up my sinuses and on bug bites and a bunch of other things. Check it out! If you’re in town, there’s no reason not to stop by.

Great handmade soaps in every scent imaginable! The owners are very helpful and the staff is warm. They also have a website for future orders once you fall in love with the store!

What’s not to love? Adorable shop, knowledgeable owners, family run, uses items grown on her farm, smells great, great prices, wonderful selection. I was here last year around the same time and have been dreaming of coming back for more. Her selection of soaps are all natural. Personally, I go in after soaps that lift spirits for daily use, and soaps that are bug repellent(since I am outdoors a lot). She has something to fit every personality and every lifestyle. This trip I noticed she’s adding on to her store with more bath items. There’s even soaps for the hunters, fishers, gardeners, and bar shampoos. A fun little store!
