Really great liquor or shall I say craft beer store. Beer snob so thats my buy target. Selection is diverse. Changes regularly. Staff helpful. Get a workout in at Anytime Fit next door then reward yourself with a cold craft 6.

A nice small liquor store. Good selection for their size, you can get in and in a hurry and the cashier’s are always pleasant and helpful. It’s nice to patronise a small business. I’ll come back for the convenience?

Convenient. I like the guys that work there. They offer to order stuff for me if they don’t normally carry it(e.g. my favorite champagne). Pretty cool!

I stopped into Alpine Liquors after a quick search on the New Holland Brewing Company’s website to see who carries Ichabod, which had just released for the fall. I expected to come in, grab my beer, pay, and leave. I ended up with additional beer as a result of excellent customer service and a friendly staff. The staff really know their beer and have an extensive selection of craft beers. If you are looking for beer beyond the typical selection, Alpine is an excellent choice. Before I rung up I was told about the store’s beer club, which gives you access to limited releases and rarer beer in the back. The backroom thing may seem elitist at first, but joining the beer club is completely free. I joined that day and was immediately given access. I was able to pick up some great out of state brews. The owner even split up some six packs for me so I could make my own pack out of some of the beers I was looking at. The make your own six pack rang in at $ 8.99, which is a very great rate and cheaper than you’ll find at local grocery stores. Between the unique selection and knowledgeable, friendly staff Alpine officially has my beer business.

Convenient to the Cottage Grove Road area with a larger selection than the market up the street. The staff is invariably friendly and always have a suggestion ready for what’s new or what they think we’ll enjoy based on past purchases. The cold case near the counter offers bottles for building your own six-pack, which is a great way to try things without committing, and the options are many — at any time there are at least twenty beers to choose from. I tend toward ciders, Scotch ales, wheat beers, and general light fruity goodness; Alpine has a fair selection, but they definitely trend toward IPAs and high ABVs. For many, this is the dream. For me, I’m glad to have options other than Woodchuck or Spotted Cow, but haven’t been wowed by any finds.

This is the only Liquor store in the area. the owner is personable, friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. The selection of fine wines, small crafted beers, and if you can not find what you want, just ask, he will order it for you. Only thing I can suggest is delivery service. The store is clean, neat and very organized, The owner has done his homework. Check it out, you will find hard to find fine wines to ready to pour cocktails and even whipped cream in a can with 80% alcohol. Also you can put together your own 6 packs of beer, and single serving wines. This is the best Liquor store I have ever been to, almost like a cheers kind of feel, very friendly

They may offer a great selection of hard to get beers in the Madison area… but, they’re really letting it get to their egos, very elitist. I feel as though they are beginning to use the fact that they can get these beers that other liquor stores can’t, to extort the beer lovers. We just went in to grab a bottle of hard to get PseudoSue– We weren’t able to get it, unless we purchased a beer(that I assume they can’t sell) we wouldn’t drink. I think that is BEYOND ridiculous. To purchase this beer, I HAVE to buy something else, that I won’t enjoy and DON’T want? This reminds me of a certain brewery in Munster, IN… You have what people want, and you use that to play a game with them. Completely unfair. Will NOT go back to this business.

This place is great for beer lovers. If you are looking for a six-pack this is your place. I wish they sold mini kegs. I like that they are conveniently located on the corner nowhere near any other store. It makes it nice for those of us that live on the edge of town. I love that they have a private lot. It is easy to get in and get out. The place is clean and I never feel weird or scared walking in there at any hour.

Really nice selection of affordable quality wines both international and stateside, huge beer selection, and Palermo’s Pizza if you need some dinner. Seriously, you gotta like that. A clean and pleasant place that is locally owned. Located in something of a small strip mall, right next to Summit CU at the corner of Sprecher and Cottage Grove Road. It’s much more spacious inside that you might expect.
