Let me preface this review by saying that I’m not a big fan of Boston Store to begin with, and tonight’s visit just reaffirm that believe. Usually, if and when I shop at this store, there has to be a decent sale. Walking in, I was greeted by an empty table with wadded up plastic bags. I went to the Home department looking for the towels — there is a reason these were the advertised sale brands. They were sad, flimsy little things. I found some towels I liked on an aisle display(not the sale, just regular price.) Right color, texture and thickness. Bath towel, hand towel, facial … wait a minute? Nothing. I looked high and low, nope. I went to the check out counter, one staff member was helping a return and the other was off in her own little world. Finally, I flagged down the staff member, explained my problem to which I was given a less than helpful response of «that happens.» I found what I thought was a manager. She was less helpful. No offers to look in the back, look on the computer, call another store, anything. In frustration, I put the towels back on their pile and went to leave the store shaking my head. Guess what! The escalator doesn’t work. The only way to get away from the 2nd floor is to search for the freight elevator. This store really needs a serious overhaul.

This Boston store men’s dept is a mess! I was here with my husband early on a Sunday morning– they opened at 11. Not busy but 3 employees. I asked Chad who was near a sale rack if certain pants from that rack were on sale and he looked at each one and said no. There were more than a half doz full price pants on the rack and I pointed it out and he just shrugged and walked away. We spent so much time trying to find pants and not once did anyone ask to help even though they wore signs that said let me find it. We asked questions but no one cared. This is why I will buy online.

Being new to Wisconsin I have never heard of Boston Store. I was looking for a Dillards or Nordstrom and Boston store was the most«similar» *cough* near me. I will say the associates have been very loyal to me and have provided me with excellent service. I even receive thank you voicemails from them which shows they truly care about their clientele. Since BS is my only option for higher end shopping, I utilize it as much as possible and take advantage of their rewards programs and credit offers.

This place is so disorganized. Went to exchange some coffee mugs and the lady was so confused. They could not read there own receipt. All I wanted to do is exchange coffee mugs for a different color. Same price. But they claimed there was a $ 0.03 deference. I paid it just because I wanted to get out of there! I will do all I can to talk my friends and family from shopping here.

No one to help at all. Best part was the fitting rooms. Not a single one was clean anywhere in the men’s department. Seriously look at the picture.

While I prefer the layout of the Eastside Boston Store, this location has a good spot mid-mall and has certain things not found elsewhere: a Bobbi Brown counter and a really big handbag selection. Always good service here and competitive pricing.

Okay… so I’m liking the Boston Store. I’ve NEVER really taken the time to shop here, mostly because 75% of the items here are overpriced. However, I’ve gotten good at shopping the clearance racks. You can find some great deals if you’re willing to take the time to browse. Also, I broke down and got the card, so I get coupons ALL the time. All. The. Time. Like, once a day… maybe it’s a bit stalkerish. BUT, the $ 50 off $ 100 coupon I got the other day makes the flooded inbox worth it. Bottom line: If you’re willing to dig through the racks, and come in with a coupon, you can get great merch for decent prices!
