Until attending a food cart & music event at Burr Jones last summer, I had no idea the field was a park. I’d driven by it hundreds of times without noticing it was a public space. Located next to the strip mall that houses/​has housed a sub shop, pizza, a dollar store, a gym, and, if memory isn’t failing me, a large thrift store, it’s actually a pretty large park that runs along the Yahara River. It’s crazy the things you miss when driving your same old route!
