Okay first of all this is COST CUTTERS! I’m paying $ 15 dollars for a haircut not $ 40. I just can’t help but laugh at people who wanted a more «luxurious» experience… From cost cutters.
I get in quick, the people are friendly, it’s cheap, and no one has really messed up my hair. I also like that they cut my hair dry because then they are cutting it in the form it usually is in instead of long, straight, and wet.
They also cut my boyfriends hair and have yet to screw it up like other places have.

My two sons and I came in for a haircut and got right in. Maybe because it was a Monday. The hairstylist, Pam, was very attentive to our style preferences. She made friendly conversation while cutting our hair and did a great job. I’ve been to this location quite a few times and each time I’ve had a good experience.

On a humid day, needed my hair done for family photos. Thought this would work out here. The stylist was very sweet. Despite my suggestion that we do a simple ½ up do without washing so curl would stay in, she washed my hair. She used at least 8 different products, trying to give me volume and reduce frizz. She never even dried my hair and toward the end must have realized what a mess she had made because she then alluded to how I needed «protein» from a deep conditioning treatment to solve the frizz problem. In the end, I wasted $ 30 and looked worse than I would have if I had done my hair myself. It’s a day later and my hair is so stiff in the top that I will need to wash to be able to get a comb through it (maybe…).

Call me a princess, but i liked to be pampered during my haircuts (why yes, that includes the $ 20 trims).
That said, I wasn’t completely satisfied by my experience at Cost Cutters. My haircut lasted a total of 10 minutes. The stylist didn’t wet my hair before she cut it. HUH? She didn’t try to style it after she finished cutting it. DERP. I walked out of the salon looking more disheveled than I did when I had walked in. WHAT IN THE WORLD. All I wanted was a blowdry&styling so I could see what the hairstyle actually looked like before I walked out the door. Sadface.
I’m debating whether or not I am willing to give another Cost Cutters stylist a try… or maybe I’ll just wait until I go home for Christmas break to get a real haircut…

Over the years I have come to this same Cost Cutters a few times. And although each time I have asked for something different, it seems like I always end up with the same style.
I guess this place is okay if you’re just going in for a ‘trim’,
but methinks it’s time to start lookin’ for a new haircut place!
