Goodland Tree Works

I had hired Goodland Tree Works a few years ago to remove a large black locust tree. I was pleased enough with their work that this season, I asked for a consult on a few trees I thought needed to be removed because they looked sick to me. I got good advice, I think: they could both survive for a while, but one wasn’t very pretty any more, it could survive — but if I thought it was ugly, it could be removed. The other just needs trimming, which I can do myself. Peter also offered some advice about an overgrown flowering crabapple that was scraping the garage roof, but without any pressure to take that advice. After clear, professional, and informative consultation, I made my decision and received a very fair price bid on the work. After accepting the bid, the work was completed in short order. I now have one less ugly tree on my property, and a crabapple tree that really looks great — the canopy is higher and more open, and the overall shape of the tree is really very pretty (and the branches no longer scrape the cars or the roof).
I feel as though I was fully informed and fairly treated throughout the process, and I will certainly be working with Goodland Tree Works in the future, as I have many more trees on the property that need attention.

Peter Kaseman-​Wold is a certified arborist and they trimmed a large oak that was brushing up against our roof. We were very satisfied, they did a good job and the price was reasonable.
More recently, they removed a dead elm and also did a good job at a reasonable price.
