As an ’08 college graduate of UW-Madison I’ve spent the past four years living in the heart of Madison: downtown. As enjoyable as that was, I needed a change. Plus, as a graduation present to myself I purchased my very first car, and I did not want to be stuck paying my lifesavings for parking downtown. The westside of Madison caught my eye. Junction Ridge was the first stop my roommate and I made on our quest to find quality westside living. Boy did it catch our attention. We are currently living in a 2-bedroom that is 1400 sq feet. The amount of space is incredible! The price is even more unbelieveable. I pay less each month than what I was paying at my apartment downtown… and that’s including parking. Not to mention the incredible immenities we have: pool, work out facility, clubhouse, etc. I love being across the street from Copps and Target(although, sometimes I regret my decision after seeing the amount of money I can spend on worhtless things at Target). Greenway Station is just a five minute drive, and the mall is just a short trip down Mineral Point. Sure, driving downtown can be a bit of a pain, but after living at Junction Ridge for a year now I definitely say it’s worth it.
