I discovered this location when I learned the Starbucks next door was as small as it is. The Krispy Kreme is never busy… each time I’ve stopped in for coffee and WIFI I’ve found it deserted. Of course, donuts might represent a temptation, but if you’re looking for a quiet place to work, good coffee, or a place to meet someone that isn’t loud and packed with babbling tweens, this is the solution for you. You’re also guaranteed to have some fun if you enjoy people watching; there are a number of eccentric local characters who would likely be escorted out of Starbucks by an armed guard but who apparently frequent this location.

Ahh, I miss these shops in the Chicagoland area. KrispyKreme probably
opened too many stores and along with
Caribou Coffee were pushed out of the area by DD and Starbucks. What a shame!
Having said that, I stopped here this morning and enjoyed
1) good service!
2) donuts boxed up hot off the line
3) good coffee
4) enjoyment of seeing the «Hot» sign lit
up-​signaling fresh out of the oven donuts.
The cashier goofed up my chg and she apologized profusely. No big deal. I miss these places. Yum!

Hey Unilocalers!
So I’ve nevee been in this location but the donuts were great but the kid at the front that took my order was a jerk. I ordered a custard donut and asked how I’d warm it up and he argued with me that it wouldn’t be good warmed up. I’ve always liked it warm but despite that he still argued with me. To be fair, I’ll still go there and my review could change again.
Good donuts, poor, unprofessional service.

I love it when their «Hot Now» sign is on!
I’m a huge fan of their Original Glazed. They taste even better when they have just been made. Hot, light, fluffy, and the perfect amount of sweetness for a doughnut. These doughnuts melt in your mouth and it’s almost always too difficult to eat just one.
The cashier here was very kind and professional. He was quick to take our order and had our doughnuts ready in no time. This location is small. There is some outdoor seating and a drive-​through is also available.

My bf took me here for dessert after ‘all you can eat shrimp’ at Red Lobster right across the street! The outside has a hip retro feel with bright lights and lots of retro silver! Service was fast and the cashier was polite! I love Hot Glazed Donuts anytime!
