Mr’s. Mills was so helpful she really listened to my needs and my budget she didn’t try to sell me something I couldn’t afford. I am getting my bed the same day and it wasn’t a aggravation. I’m so happy with my service and I recommend this business to anyone.

John was absolutely awesome, he answered any and every question we had, even the silly ones. The delivery was delayed due to the weather, but there was an issue with the order. The manager tried to assist but didn’t provide an accommodating solution. The delivery men arrived smelling like a bottle of liquor, and were rude when I told them I would not accept a partial order. Their delivery service is contracted though, so I cannot blame this on Mattress Firm. I expected a better quality of service, and have since decided to cancel the order. Needless to say, I will not be purchasing from them again.

Earlier this year, the bed that my finance and I had broke. I was able to put it back together but only temporary. I went out and purchased a brand new queen bed from another store and then went to Mattress Firm here in Madison. We were met with a very pushy salesman, who did not give us a chance to look around by ourselves. We did end up with a $ 700+ mattress set, but I put it on layaway, as we could not afford that much debt. I told the salesman we would pay it off when I got my tax refund, which would have been in March. The salesman said it was no problem. I was also told there would be a $ 50 delivery charge. I agreed, but explained that we lived 1.8 miles from the store(I can see it from my balcony). In mid February, I started getting calls from the store asking where my payment was. I was told that I had to make monthly payments on it. I told the lady who called I never heard anything about monthly payments. I explained to her what the salesman said and she was nice and said it would be noted on my account. When my tax refund came in(mid-march), I went in and paid in full. When I did, I asked for the quickest delivery, as the old bed was sagging and my pregnant fiancé was starting to have problems getting in and out of it. The saleslady stated that they would have it at my place the next day, between 4 and 7 pm. This would have been 3÷13÷14. So I agreed and had my finance take time off work to be there for the delivery. When I got home about 5:50 on 3÷13÷14, the delivery had not come. I decided I would help out and dismantled the old full sized bed frame and moved the mattress set into our tiny living room(apartment living… got to love it). And then we waited. And waited. And waited. At 7:20, when they had not arrived or called, I called the store. The lady on the phone said she would check on it and call me back. Within 10 minutes, she called back to let me know it was not on the truck for delivery. I asked why and she said that«the delivery people do not deliver to your part of town again until next week». I asked then why was I told that it would be delivered today, to which I got a story about how the delivery coordinator when I put it on layaway allowed for daily deliveries, but sometime since I purchased it, that person was gone and the new delivery coordinator only delivered to my part of town on a schedule. I was told the earliest I would get it would be 3÷16÷14. I explained that I have a pregnant fiancé and now no bed frame to sleep on, since it was broke and I had to tear it apart to get it out of the room. The lady offered to refund delivery fees, which I said I wanted, but she said it would be 2 – 3 week AFTERDELIVERY before it would be refunded, since corporate would have to refund. I hung up disgusted with this company. So now the fiancé and I are either sleeping on the broken mattress or the floor or taking turns on the sofa. I am down over $ 700 in cash to a company that cannot keep it’s promises. And we still are waiting for the mattress to come. After reading other reviews, I am worried that they will screw that up as well. I hope this company fixes it’s shoddy customer management skills and learns from other companies on how to conduct business. When you promise a delivery, you do everything you can to keep that promise, or offer to make it right outside the«normal shipping days».
