I kind of wish there were more stars on the scale for this one. She is a terrific doctor and a very kind, respectful person, which you feel as soon as you meet her. The whole staff is very nice, in fact, and the place is almost kind of cozy — sounds weird for a gyn office, but so it is. I’ll spare the gory details, but I first came to her in tears of fear, due mostly to what ultimately was the incompetence of another provider, and she made me feel very quickly that she would figure out what was going on and that she would know what to do about it. I’ve sent friends to her with their own problems that were overlooked by other doctors and we all say the same thing: why can’t they all be like her?! When I think about what I went through before I got to her, and how many women are going through the same things without a proper diagnosis by an attentive, competent provider, well, I wish every woman had a doctor like her.(She certainly was the first gynecologist to tell me that a pap/pelvic need not be uncomfortable — what?! — and that doctors routinely use a speculum that’s too big.) I probably couldn’t say enough good things about her. I just feel grateful I got to her and want other women to know about her.
