The doctors seem fine, but the level of overbooking leaves something to be desired. It often takes months to see a doctor or a specialist, and they’ll schedule you with a nurse practitioner if you need to be seen before that. This often results in multiple visits where only one would be required if they weren’t so overbooked. My record so far is a bit over six months from the date of referral to seeing a specialist. If you include the time it took to get in to see someone to get the referral, it’s a total of seven months. Labs and blood draws here can be hit or miss. It’s hard to draw blood from me without having to stick me multiple times and without jabbing me in a tendon or causing other problems. I’ve had enough labs done that I know what works and what doesn’t and I’ll mention it to the nurse. Half the time they listen and it’s ok. Half the time they tell me they know what they’re doing, and then proceed to cause a hematoma(big, visible, lump) along with a bruise that lasts for a month.
