Retro Revolution

Fun place to shop and visit. You never know what you’re going to find. On our first visit, I found what I had been seeking for some time – a Budweiser belt buckle. Yes!!!
I admire their «no greed» and humane breakage policy, too. It’s a smallish store but well-​kept and organized. They have nice benches out front to enjoy the sun, a sandwich stop next-​door, a massage shop and a coffee/​tea shop right around the corner.
Definitely worth a stop and supporting. Five Unilocal stars, all the way.

I’ve visited this place several times and every time there were lots of new things! This place is so cool and the prices are just ridiculous (in a good way). When they say «Greed Free» they’re not kidding, folks! Check it out!

Great selection. Everything was inexpensive and worth looking at. Had to make a few rounds before checking out. Very friendly staff and store altogether. Will recommend to friends and be back often.

Retro Revolution is a well-​curated shop that features gorgeous colored glass, cameras, jewelry, beer paraphernalia, kitchen goodies, and more. Unlike many antique shops, there’s plenty of room to move around, and everything is clean. For this alone, they deserve five stars.
What really prompted me to give them a five-​point salute, though? Their attitude. As soon as I saw the sign, «You break it? Relax, it happens,» I knew it was my kind of store. They’ve also declared their store greed-​free, and it shows — one of the first things I noticed upon entering was that everything was priced appropriately and affordably. Yes, the items are collectible, but when you can actually afford to put it in your home it’ll actually have a life (and maybe get some use instead of being put high on a shelf or behind glass).
Pop in, take a look around, and take a little piece of history home with you.

This store is the best place for vintage household items in Madison! They have great prices and the owner (owners?) Is very friendly and helpful. It is in a very small space, but they put out new items as soon as they have room. They also have a frequent buyer card, so ask for one! They don’t do clothing as of this review, just jewelry. I always find something cute for my house, such as lamps, ashtrays, and dishes. My only lament is that it isn’t bigger, then they could expand to clothing and larger furniture. That being said, they have some of the most affordable, reasonable prices I have ever seen for the types of vintage they carry. Retro Revolution is a must-​stop shop! You have to check it out.

Amazing prices, high turnover of items for this same reason so they are always bringing in new items! I am working on my second punch card! I especially love their housewares items and glassware. I bought multiple globes, crates, mirrors and last week a record holder! Can’t get enough of this place we are lucky to have them in Madison!

I try to stop here once a paycheck. Favorite store in town! Definitely worth your time to check this place out. Plus, dexters is across the street.

Their tagline is «greed-​free prices» and this couldn’t be more true! I’ve been to many vintage boutiques and this one takes the cake. So much to choose from and everything is priced perfectly! Can’t say enough good things about this place.
