Needed to replace the factory radio in my Ford, this place was recommended to me by a friend. David Williams took the time to discuss my requirements and features I was curious about, explained all the technology & options, and expertly answered all my questions. Arrived at a unit that met all my requirements along with some additional features that sounded useful. The shop did the install in a timely fashion, well pleased with the result!

I am never one to bash or complain on social media but this shop has gone completely down hill. I have been a consistent customer for 8 years and was always impressed and happy with the work, now the workers are all stuck up and have horrible attitudes and they seem to want to cheat you out your money. You can’t get a word in without them cutting you off and speaking to you like you don’t know shit, just because they do it for a living don’t mean they know everything. I recently had a pretty expensive stereo system put in and have had nothing but little problems here and there and everytime I bring it to them they don’t fix shit they pull it in the back and pull it back out 20 mins later hand you the keys and act like they did something there attitudes and there want to help people need to change drastically other wise I’m one customer that is done with them for good !

My 1^st post, but my experience at Sound Depot is so great I just have to share. After having 2 Passport/​Escort radar detectors installed in 2 different cars I asked them (Chris the install guy) to install some custom arm rest into my Tesla Model S. Of course they did an excellent job AND he found $ 60.00 under the seat that he returned to me. I did not know the money had fallen out of my pocket so it was a great surprise since it paid his fee and I had $ 10.00 in found money I highly recommend their service and honesty. I will be back.

Dropped by there while shopping for a remote starter for my car and talked to «Junior». This is the only place where it was obvious they knew what they were talking about. The other places gave a price but didn’t give the feeling that they had experience with their product they sell. They are a relatively small shop but their obvious experience in working with these systems gave me the confidence to entrust them to install the remote starter on my new car.
Update: I finally had the remote starter installed. They estimated up to 4 hours for the install. They were finished in just a little over 2 hours. I’m obsessive about keeping my car interior like-​new, spotless, and dust-​free (yea, I need to get a life…). After the install was complete, I couldn’t tell that they had even been in the vehicle. There was no indication that anything had been installed and the interior remained spotless. I had to look very hard to find where they mounted the windshield antenna.

I’ve actually had all my aftermarket stereo and alarms installed by these guys for about 10 years now… But I won’t go back there again… They had really crappy attitudes and made a really rude comment towards me even after I had just spent $ 400 on a remote starter and I had asked about putting a $ 1500 display/​and backup camera on layaway… one of the installers said «You have to have your daddies money to afford that» … I don’t care how cool you think you are it’s never cool to say disrespectful crap like that to a customer. And the sales guy lost me as a repeat customer because he had more important things to do then talk to me when I was asking his opinion, I won’t make that mistake again.
