Beside the long wait in line at the drive thru(which had to do with a car ahead of us) my chai tea tastes like hot milk. This was unusual and I know I had the option to return it for another one, but I didn’t feel like back tracking. The two stars is for the unsatisfactory drink which like I said, is not the norm. We were greeted at the window with an apology on the long wait which was due to a customer, not Starbucks. This won’t stop me from returning to this particular store as I have always had great friendly service both in the store and at the drive thru.

I waited for roughly 10 minutes watching as the hostess seated people who came in after me. Needless to say I am not happy. I finally said something to her and was told she did not see me. I was standing in the doorway and I am 6’0 tall. Not easy to miss. She walked past me several times. I was told I could sit at the counter or in a dark room that was going to have a party coming in. I understand it’s a holiday and Sunday, but it is not acceptable to ignore you single customers. By the way this is not the first time this has happen. However it may be the last.

I stop here often for freshly brewed decaf coffee. It’s always on pour-over so I have to wait a few minutes, but, hey, it’s fresh. Sometimes I splurge on a seasonal latte or a flat white, but generally speaking, it’s the best tasting coffee within walking distance to my house, so they get my business. This place is always busy, but they make sure to take care of you. It’s much appreciated.

I really put off writing this review for a while. I just had nothing to say about it. And honestly, I still don’t. As far as Starbucks go, this is the Starbucksiest. It’s on Wash, so I’m guessing most of their traffic is like me: passerbyers out doing shopping, etc.(I’m usually hitting this one on the way to church). As such, I really haven’t formed a, «Heyyy, Aaron! Iced americano today?”-relationship with them. But I’ve been here so many times. But they’ve all been forgettable. But it’s better to be a forgivable chain shop than one negatively remembered. All in all… This is the most 4-star rating I could possibly ever give. It’s just Starbs.

A sailor such as myself is forever dealing with the seductive advances of sirens and succubbi. That’s just a fact of my life. But, friends, let me tell you a tale of a particularly harrowing ordeal. When I say«a sailor» I mean«a middle class white guy» and when I say«sirens and succubbi» I mean«coffee places.» I feel that disclaimer is important. So I was sailing along with me vessel and me crew, and the lads(just me) were starvin’. As ye tend to be after many a fortnight at sea(an afternoon of laying in bed). Just then, we began to hear a gentle song floatin’ o’er the breeze. Now, a seasoned captain such as meself(I’m 26 and sort of went to college) recognized these lilting notes as that of a succubus immediately. But the lads(nope), they was taken. Positively taken. I had to risk a mutiny or follow the call, friends, and I had no choice a’tall. We(I) sailed into the port o’ Starbucks and I was immediately taken by the number of other sailors. Surely this must be one of the busier ports for this mighty succubus. The succubus chose a simple décor and ‘er minions are always quite friendly even amidst the chaos of so many enchanted sailors(middle class white people). Seating be limited, though, so batten down ye hatches if ye lookin’ to settle for a spell. The minions, forever enslaved to her call, peddle reasonable quality goods and do so with speed. I request a bean drink over ice and the minion, with it’s Cheshire Cat smile, produces. The lads(again, I am friendless) be lovin’ this oasis but only I know I am being taken. None of this is as it appears, friends, and the mighty succubus surely awaits in the murky shadows a-ready to plunge us all to our doom. But that mix o’ reasonable quality an’ reasonable speed, me hearties, it’s a falsehood this sailor(boring white guyyyyyy) could get mighty comfortable in. Mighty comfortable, indeed.

I had a terrible experience with the staff at this Starbucks. This was really unusual because most other Starbucks I’ve been to have friendly people working there. This was a case of them talking so loudly behind my back that I heard them. I’m always polite, so I have no idea what their problem was, but it made me feel like crap.

It’s Starbucks. A little over priced but always good. Never had any issues here. Service has always been good.

After a terribly long day, I just needed some coffee. I seriously debated going to this location because it is a maze to get back there. No regrets. This location is hands down the BEST Starbucks I have ever been to. The line is always long because they are making your drink the way it should be made. Whether it is a Frappuccino or just a regular cup of coffee this location stands out above the rest. It was on this day that I ordered my standard Grande, Hot, Skim Milk Caramel Mocha with light whip. It was superb. No burnt taste, it was fresh, delicious and that sip saved my day. Yes, it does sound a little dramatic. I have been studying for the bar and just needed caffeine. This place gave me flavor and happiness all in one cup. I wish I could remember a name or give them all a hug. This is where you go to get a good cup of coffee AND the staff is friendly!

Typical Starbucks layout, nothing unique. Very friendly staff. Seating is cramped during busy times. Sometimes there are no tables available so then it’s on to Cool Beans down the road.

If you know anything about me, you know I LOVE Starbucks. When I was living in Arizona my home was on the same street as 5… FIVE of them. I lead presentations on community building and branding and have PP slides dedicated to them. I just finished a book about habit which had an entire chapter devoted to them. I long for the switch over to the holiday cups each season. I can go on… I’ll never forget the first time I had Starbcuks. I was in NY with my friend Cari and we were getting hot tix(student discounted tix when you show up at the butt crack of dawn) for The Full Monty. She decided if there was any way we were going to bear the cold and the line, we needed some Buck. I had never had a cup of coffee up until then, told her I was afraid of jumping in with both feet, so I got a Frapaccino, coffee’s sweeter cousin… in the dead of winter… in NY. Truth be told I don’t drink Starbucks as much as I used to. Funny thing about having a job that allows me to celebrate the fine local offerings we have. However, in addition to being a remarkable brand(seriously, do some Googling if you’re interested) they also have incredible boxes if you’re moving and need to pack up shhhhtuff. This location gets 5 stars because it’s by far the cleanest I’ve been in so far, and the staff is warm and friendly but not overly so. Large tables make it easy to gather/work and ample parking is an added bonus that some of the others don’t have.

I’m so happy they opened a Starbucks! The only ones around were either in Target or in Barnes and Noble at the east towne mall. I love how they added the drive through, it makes it quick and easy for me to get what i want and get on with the rest of my day. The staff is superb and very friendly. The only downfall i had was that sometimes the staff is a little chatty with the customers which can delay how quick they can be. But overall it was an awesome experience and I’m so happy that Starbucks has it’s own building that’s easily accessible.

This is by far the best Starbucks on the east side. Do not waste your time at the«Starbucks» in the mall, it’s not even a real Starbucks! This one is always clean, always friendly and if the service isn’t great 9 times out of 10 they’ll make up for it!
