Among the many events here is the worlds largest Brat Fest
in May. Thousands of people attend and the location is well suited for the crowds with tons of parking, free shuttles, traffic assistance. Dress very casually because the grounds are gravel and grass.

Easy parking and best when it’s free.
There’s a traffic light that works when events are going down so no need for the County’s Finest (do we call Sheriff’s «The Finest» or is that solely bookmarked for police?).
BratFest is growing or has grown. Things are smooth as always. They are offering Shuttle golf carts for visitors and I heard the sweetest geriatric couple say, «We wouldn’t’ be able to attend otherwise.»
Volunteer shifts are easier than ever and their website is user friendly. This year there was a collection for OK tornado survivors so that a bonus point.
The fair food is outrageously overpriced.
There is only UNLIMITED RIDE BAND day on Friday which means no full day for the kids to ride but only after school hours.
Tickets for rides are $ 1.50 each or 14 tickets for $ 20 — cash only.
ATM’s are abound but I was prepared for a change and brought cash.
The hotdogs still cost as much as a brat at $ 2. No upcharge for non-​meat brats. But, I’m starting to get old myself as I sound like the adult community I grew up with as they said, «I remember…» because I remember when the dogs were 50 cents then 75 cents. Now for $ 2, no one gets a hotdog — charity or not we’re only getting brats. I mean come on it’s not all beef Oscar Meyer just the filler dog.
The Wisconsin State Journal runs pretty good deals at their tent each year.
The corn on the cob was a hit with this crew and they attend the Sun Prairie Corn festival each year.

5 stars for free entry and free parking
5 stars for the Tradition.
