Da Coffee Pot

So sorry to see this place close. Magalia really needs a place for people to get a coffee, to even mingle or sit outside on the deck. Good luck Debbie, wherever you go. You will be missed.

Absolutely awful espresso, awful service, and an awful crowd of people that hang around this place. More known as a place to hang out and smoke cigarettes than an actual coffee shop. It’s sad really, because when they first opened I looked forward to having a coffee shop in Magalia, but I’ll stick with Coffee’s On.

Been there twice coffee is strong and fresh but the girl that works behind the counter is extremely rude does not greet you when you come in does not take your order quickly spends a lot of time talking to her boyfriend and making the customers wait. and if you’re in a hurry definitely do not go there she doesn’t do anything fast best to grab a coffee out of the Starbucks machine across the street at the gas station cheaper and better customer service

I have been to ‘Da Coffee Pot’ twice. Both times have been an uncomfortable experience. The first time I went, I only had my debt card. When I went to pay, I received a long and angry lecture about the use of debt cards and how awful the government is. I apologized and told the woman at the counter that I would be right back with cash. She informed me that I could open a tab and pay when I am able to. I appreciated the generosity and thanked her. When I went into my vehicle and found a good amount of change and brought it in to pay for my drink. The cashier was extremely rude and kept reminding me I could pay when able. I left her the money and she continued to hassle me about not having to pay that day. I understand that a tab is a cool idea, but I shouldn’t be hassled about paying the same day.
The second time, the barista was very poliet and helpful in finding a drink I would enjoy. When sitting outside I noticed that the barista was more involved with sitting outside smoking than being inside to greet customers. I have mixed emotions about both experiences. Would I recommend this place to a friend or acquaintance? Probably not.

I have been here a couple of times but I love this place, nice friendly barista and great coffee, they offer a wide variety of dairy free and vegan options!
