The service was amazing the food was great I had a Italian sandwich, and there coffee is amazing too, I highly recommend it

love this place. I frequently order several drinks at a time and take out coffee boxes from these guys. They always polite and the coffee is always awesome. I’ll be back for more!

The Brew Monkey is such a great place to get a delicious coffee. So many flavors and specialty drinks to choose from. Also the soups are so soooo good! I love this place so much! Very convenient on my way to work and I always know it’s fresh!

Normally I get average customer service with average coffee. Now they’ve hired a gal with gauges and we have yet to get a decent drink since. The main reason I go there is convenience. This time we ordered large Italian sodas. The gal with gauges in her ears asked my daughter who was picking them up for us if we wanted half a shot of cherry and half a shot of almond in them. My daughter never ordering Italian sodas before said yes. Her bad. I don’t understand why she would ask if we only want one shot of flavoring in a 32 oz drink, but it was still her bad. When we tasted them it was soda water and cream. It was bad!!! Bad enough I packed them all up and took them back. When I got there and told her they tasted like s**t she just wanted to argue with me. I told her I know my daughter agreed, but I don’t understand why the question was asked in the first place. One shot total in a 32oz drink. Just make a standard so I know what I’m ordering. If I want a special request it’s my responsibility to ask for it. I wish I could say this is the first time with her.

Bad service (waitress completely ignored us at times to talk to her co-​workers, like what the heck!!!), so-​so coffee, crappy ham-​and-​cheese croissant that was microwaved and shoved into a ill-​fitting to-​go box that meant it was like a jigsaw puzzle to eat. Just bad.

We stopped briefly to pick up a snack on our road trip. The best cheese danish I’ve ever had. Buttery, moist, the cheese part was creamy and it was big.

Good coffee, but you need to not be in a hurry. Always super slow. Average of at least 10 min for one or two drinks.

Coffee bar in Magna. SLOW service because it is also hand made. Nothing special — Just kind staff, good food, reasonable prices, and a warm or cold dish to keep you going. No need to try the 8 shot expresso «Aftershock» unless your heart has stopped.

Tuesdays are my favorite day at Brew Monkey!!! I love to get the soup & sandwich menu option. The broccoli cheese soup and TBA sandwich is my favorite combo! I don’t drink coffee but this place has delicious soups and sandwiches along with making some phenomenal specialty hot chocolates!!!
Every member of their staff is friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. The ONLY downside to this little Magna Treasure is the wait between ordering and getting your food (but honestly for me it is worth the wait!).

I live in taylorsville and I often find myself wanting to drive the 20 minutes out to magna just for the Brew Monkey coffee. I’m all about variety, and this place has it. I love the different kinds of drinks you can get and create! Milky Way, Snickers, Metallica, just to name a few. They taste like grown up chocolate milk. Even the plain mochas are delicious! They always have friendly and helpful staff also. Tip well!

So I have lived in Magna for a few years and finally decided to try brew monkey for the first time today. I am not a coffee drinker so I went with the soup and sandwich combo with Ice water while my dad who was with me also got a combo with a side salad. My ice water tasted like coffee and the sandwiches just didn’t have any flavor. No flavor to the sourdough or to the meat and cheese on the sandwich. We both ended up taking half of our sandwich home to the dogs. The atmosphere was nice other than hearing about the staff talk about the gal that sits in the parking lot stealing their wifi.

I love this place! Today I had their iced coffee with soy milk and their veggie sandwich on wheat bread! The barista knows everyone that walks in the door and greets them with excitement by shouting their first name! So friendly! Service is quick and efficient too. Definitely great for just a coffee or coffee and breakfast/​lunch. Love this place!

The breakfast options are great, and really help my commute be less of a chore. The coffee is good, and the service is awesome. The location is a little weird, but they have free wifi.

Overview: I live in California and I visit Salt Lake City/​Magna often for work. I’ve eaten at Brew Monkey over 10 times within this year.
Food: The food is very fresh and affordable. It has a wide variety of coffee drinks, smoothies and teas. I’m not much of a coffee drinker, so I usually get a smoothie. The smoothies are fresh, delicious and not too sweet (just how I like it). Though Brew Monkey is a coffee shop, it offers plenty of food (breakfast sandwiches, muffins, cookies, lunch sandwiches, soups, salads and cakes). For lunch, I usually get the half sandwich and soup combo for $ 5.50 (what a steal!!!). You can get the full sandwich and soup or salad combo for $ 1 more! I’ve tried all the sandwiches and my top 2 favorite ones are the Veggie (bell peppers, olives, lettuce, tomato and onions) and the TBA (turkey bacon avocado). I’m not a vegetarian, but Brew Monkey can make me happily eat veggies only! The veggie sandwich is really fresh and fulfilling. It really does not need any meat for it to taste good. The bread is the best and the veggies are so fresh and crunchy). I love love love the sandwiches here!
Place: It’s a small local coffee house in a middle of a deserted plaza. I heard they were moving soon to a location not too far from where they are at. This venue has about 5 small tables (2 – 4 per table). It’s has a cute homey local décor, which a few stuffed monkeys hanging around. There’s a small shelf around the corner that holds some magazines and newspapers for the customers to enjoy during their visit.
Service: The service is awesome. The ladies behind the counter are always friendly and happy to serve you. When I eat here, it feels like my mom fixed me the soup and sandwich.
Overall: I highly recommend Brew Monkey if you’re in Magna. There aren’t too many restaurants in Magna that aren’t fast food or heavy food. This is a great place to drink coffee/​tea/​smoothie and eat very delicious fulfilling healthy food. The price is awesomely affordable too! Whenever I’m in Magna, I have to visit Brew Monkey!
Tip: Get the half sandwich/​soup or salad combo or the whole sandwich/​soup or salad combo. It’s the best deal! Ever sandwich order comes with a small pack of chips :)
