Another disappointing experience with this location!!! Whoever takes the orders«to go» needs to get their act together! EVERY time we order something to go… It’s messed up!!! Do they not listen? Do they not write it down? Why is such an easy task so difficult? There is nothing more annoying, than to get home and things are missing that you ordered!!!

Usually this place serves us awesome drinks but the last visit the drinks were literally like syrup. My friends and I love visiting this place and just hanging out mainly cause they love the crawfish. Food is regular, I’ve had fries and fried okra. We will come back and give it some more tries just cause I know the drinks could be better and it’s really cool and chill place to hang out with your friends.

Worst experience at a restaurant I’ve had in a very long time. After ordering chicken fried chicken the server comes out 20 minutes later to tell us the the cooks accidentally turned off the fryer mid way through cooking the chicken and that they were having to re cook our food so we then had to wait an extra 20 minutes to receive it and when it comes out… Guess what? It’s the same piece of chicken they had already started frying and just re cooked it. When we showed our server that you can’t even cut through the chicken he says«oh I’ll have another one come out» and we kindly refused and said we didn’t have another 30 minutes to wait for the meal and we asked for the manager. The manager never comes over and so the server proceeds to bring out the check and the chicken that we didn’t even touch is still on the tab so when we say we aren’t paying for the chicken because we didn’t even eat it, he looks at us like we’re crazy and when my boyfriend asks AGAIN for a manger the server just laughs(yes literally laughs) and claims my boyfriend has had too much to drink, even though he only had one beer. Moral of the story the service is not respectful to their customers, especially when it’s something like them over cooking the food so much you can’t eat it and you already waited 40 minutes for it, and also the management is unprofessional for not coming by to even apologize. I work in the restaurant industry and I have never seen this before it was so unprofessional. I’ve never left a 0 $ tip but when you disrespect me like that and ruin my dinner and I don’t even get an apology I have no choice but to do so. Will never go back to this place again.

Quite a change from last year. Menu appears to have been revamped. Drinks were great. Food was yummy. Ordered fried pickles and the fish mardi gras(so good). Service was excellent. Will definitely be back!

A complete turnaround from my last experience almost a year ago. This visit, during lunch on a Saturday, the crawfish was great(could have been a tiny bit more spicy and held more of the boil liquid) and the double fried buffalo wings(hot as they can get em) were good too(good thing I have Crestor — HA!). The best part of the dining experience was the service. Alicia O. provided me with excellent service. She was friendly, had great recommendations and always looked after me, a single, while servicing much larger tables. We all know; you can go to Morton’s, Del Frisco’s, Perry’s etc., order and receive a great steak. However, if the service is crap, even the best steak and glass of wine won’t fix the experience. If you’re reading this, your serious about your dining experience and know what I’m talking about. Alicia’s service was a perfect complement to the good food today and I am glad I gave them another chance. It is worth mentioning, the management did care enough to contact me after my poor experience last year. I appreciate that as well. My 2 cents. Greg T.

We like this place, and I’m pregnant, so not easy to please. The food is always good, reasonably priced, good sports bar to hang out at.

Last night, we had a birthday party for my fiancée with 32 guests. Joe the manager set everything up and the whole night was flawless! I sincerely appreciate everything Joe and his staff did for us last night! Highly recommend this location!

Terrible! We placed an order for pickup which included a chopped salad with blackened chicken, 6 honey BBQ wings, 6 mild wings and 12 hot wings. My husband said it took forever for someone to wait on him which is probably why all the food was stone cold by the time he got home(we live less than 10 min away), the salad didn’t have the blackened chicken on it so we paid $ 10 for lettuce, a few chopped tomatoes and some cheese, and the wings were tiny and plenty fatty. Horrible wings, low quality chicken for sure.

The manager reached out to me based on this review to do what he could to make things right. Unfortunately, I have not been for a return visit because I live in CO, but attempting to fix the issue goes a long way in my book.

I have been in there several times and the service has been so much better! Also was extremely surprised that the manager actually reached out to me on here so thank you for the great customer service! And as always the food is great! The onion rings and the sweet jalapeño buns are amazing!

Complete change! Amazing! We haven’t been here in a while due to the terrible service we received the last time we came in. I have heard the management has been working on changing things. We stopped in tonight with some friends and I can not believe how much the service has changed. It like a completely different restaurant. The place was packed and every table was filled. The hostess was very friendly and we had a very short wait. As soon as a table was empty the hostess helped clean it so we could sit. Our waitress greeted us within a few minutes of us setting down. She was super nice and did a great job. She stopped by every fee minutes to check on us and none of our drinks ever got below half full. Even after we finished eating, the table was clear, and our tabs were paid she keep filling our drinks while we sat and hung out. I looked around and it appeared that all the other wait staff was constantly making rounds checking on the tables. I even noticed the manager checking on tables. The food was great, but it always has been. It’s crazy how they can make it look just like the pictures in the menu. Huge portions and always hot. We will definitely be making this a regular stop again.

This is a really nice place. Very clean and friendly service. The place was packed when we went, but service was still timely. The food was pretty good. Ordered the blackened fish with a side salad. I plan to go back.

Service and food is awesome, but this jukebox is killing get me, listen to all the rap and country you want. The moment you want to listen to rock or metal it’s all removed. Pretty ridiculous I can listen to all of public walls albums but not listen to a single killswitch engaged song

I have been to this location and the former 242 location many times since they opened. The food is always good and service isn’t bad either. It’s great for sports if you don’t mind a noisy, boisterous scene. Today for lunch I ordered the Tailgators Pub Club, 86 the mustard and onion, with waffle fries. I had to send it back after I took my pic for this app bc it had onions.(Now worried about a South Park I just saw!) I waited tables and bartended for many years so I know it happens. The fries were hot and the sandwich is delicious. I recommend this place for the food and the atmosphere.

I had the adult chicken nuggets, AKA boneless wings. The hot sauce was good and spicy(as you know the term ‘hot’ varies from place to place). The medium sauce was not flavorful at all and I will definitely skip it in the future. Beer selection is decent and atmosphere is fun. I will return.

Sat at the bar on a Saturday afternoon watching college football on 5 screens, drinking two Coors 25 oz and eating fried pickles and a lunch portion of chicken-fried steak. Bar service from Coley was attentive, and the girl worked non-stop. Beer was cold and wet. Pickles were perfectly breaded and served hot, as was the steak and sides. I was not in a hurry to eat, so did not mind the unusually long wait for the steak: Coley, however, seemed concerned and lunch arrived shortly after she had a little chat with the kitchen. There is a separate, closed off smoking section that seems useful for nicotine addicts, and is appreciated by non smokers too.

It’s alright… I can’t tell if it’s fresh or not but thumbs up for being the only restaurant in the woodlands that’s open until 2am. If you are reading my review bc you’re wondering what to get then I would say the chicken fried steak and the Blt are good. I would recommend not drinking the water bc I don’t really care for the water.

I’m downgrading them to 3 stars. A few things recently have me a bit disappointed. First off they must have had complaints about under cooked chicken tenders because they have started smashing the the tenders before they cook them. I guess to cook them quicker or more evenly. The result leaves them dry and over breaded. Strike one. We have officially given up on the crawfish. Kudos to them for offering mushrooms and sausage now as well as the more common corn and potatoes. However, they use liquid boil to season the crawfish. They may use dry seasoning as well but all I’ve tasted this season is that synthetic, taste bud assaulting liquid crap. Strike two. Lastly, the restrooms the last few times we went have been disgusting. The mens room urinals were both broken forcing everyone to use the cammode. And that wasn’t flushing. For at least two weeks this was the case. Wife said the womens room was also dirty. It’s kind of a thing with her. If the bathroom is gross what does the kitchen look like? You’re not a dive bar gators you’re suppose to be a family friendly sports bar. Act like it. Strike three. OUT!
