I love diners, especially having breakfast at a diner… However, this spot was different… Now the million dollar question, did I love this place? Absolutely not. First off I’m not an expert, but I do know hash browns need salt and pepper. My mother’s order of eggs was also missing seasoning, so overall it was all fairly bland(we did add salt and pepper, but it wasn’t the same!). Additionally, the food should also be warm when you experience them. The pancakes were so-so. I only was able to eat one. The bacon and toast were burnt as well, so that wasn’t ideal either. It seemed like our food was already pre made earlier that morning and they were just waiting for someone to order the dish. Overall the food wasn’t as up to par as I expected. Unfortunately, my mom and I didn’t finish our plates. Also, as for our waitress, she was a tad rude towards us when we were ordering. She also looked really bored because every few minutes she would come around to see what we needed, or if we were finished. Still, with all that said I would never take off a star for bad service because I understand people have good, and bad days. It’s human.

I’ve been through here a few times during visits to the area, and this location never disappoints. The worst thing I can say about it is that it is on par with other local diners(which, if you know NJ diners, is not a bad thing at all). Consistency is the name of the game here. Good food and good prices are always welcome, too!

Came in for Sunday breakfast. There were three other tables which should have been a red flag. Dirty water glass, cold sausage links, and no coffee refill. Also the hostess didn’t speak a word except for ’”two?”, even when we we’re paying the check. Unfortunately we won’t be back.

Had another scrumptious lunch at my favorite diner in the area. Unlike other large, noisy crazy busy Diners, Kingsbridge is like the show Cheers with out the alcohol. Friendly service, lots of regulars and really good home style cooking. Family friendly as well. The price is Right !!! The reviews claiming uncleanliness are fabricated. This diner is always clean except perhaps after a busy period. I’ve never seen a roach in my 7 years of dining here. I’d swear to that. I’ve been in other diners that were filthy. It’s a DINER. People who complain perhaps forget that. It’s not the Plaza. Get a grip !

Avoid this Diner at all costs! There is no professionalism at all! Staff were all talking about wanting to go home, food all over the floor and under our table, tempature had to have been 80 degrees inside I was sweating while eating a egg sandwich! Could not find our waitress to get the check asked hostess for the check she said«who is you waitress»? I replyed I have no idea what her name is. No one could find this waitress when we left she was sitting outside behind the diner talking on her phone! Owners could care less about the comfort of thier customers! Needless to say we will never return!

My wife and I took our friend Robert to dinner here tonight! This is one of our favorite diners! Our friend Robert kept saying what a lovely place it is. We had Eileen again as our waitress and she is just sweet and kind! Go there and ask for Eileen to be your waitress!

This has never been a five star diner, but the quality has dropped to sub-par lately. It is not bad for breakfast, but beyond, it is not worth the money. The owner has all the personality of a rock, but the food had been good when it first opened. Lunch had been fair to good, but my wife and I never found the dinners worth it. They used to have good priced dinner specials, but no longer. We went for lunch today and feel they have hit rock bottom. My wife had a salad with grilled chicken and mozzarella cheese. The chicken was so overcooked that the skin was black and the cheese was cut up so much and in such a small amount as to be a joke. I ordered chicken quesadilla and my chicken was also overcooked. We asked if my wife’s food was meant to be blacked and the waitress said that they cook the chicken that way so as to not have any pink color. I understand not wanting to undercook the chicken, but you cook it until it is light brown and moist; NOT blacken and dried out. My quesadilla was cut into four parts and laid lengthwise on a rectangular plate. I did not notice the condition of the plate until I was nearly done. I found the plate to be greasy and the sour cream looked as if it had been left out of the refrigerator a while, since it had liquid in the cup and looked too soupy to eat. I would have spoken to the owner about these issues, but he seemed more interested in reading his newspaper than dealing with customers. My wife and I agreed that this place is no longer worth our time or money. There are other places in the area that know how to cook food way better than here and management and staff that know how to make customers feel as if they want your business. No one here seems to grasp these concepts.

Maybe because I was only there once I don’t deserve to give them one star, but I don’t see myself ever going back. When I was sitting in the booth I remember telling my husband how cute I thought the place was and that I was excited we may have found a new«spot». It feels homey and welcoming inside. I ordered an omelet with cheddar and porkroll(I know, nothing fancy, but when I go somewhere new I think its best to test the waters with something super simple) The omelet came out and was slightly undercooked, didn’t have cheddar, instead had a kraft single, and to top it all off the porkroll wasn’t cooked before putting it in the omelet. Just cut up and thrown in.yuck. And the homefries were your standard last nights baked potato with a green pepper in it. So blaaah.

I want to give this craphole NOSTARS but Unilocal wouldn’t let me. I picked up some food today and it was inedible. The pizza wasn’t pizza. It was cardboard with catsup and melted plastic. The chicken wrap was totally craptastic. Lettuce and bland boiled chicken. They even fucked up the french fries. How do you fuck up fries? That’s talent my friends. Avoid this gastronomic pit. If your starving and it’s the only place open: starve. You could probably stand to lose a couple of pounds.

The breakfast was awful. The omelets were dry and tasteless, the bacon tasted like cardboard and the home fries were very greasy. When we informed the owner of this he seemed disinterested and cared more about getting our money to pay for the meal. We paid him but we will Never return there for another meal.

Chicken & Broccoli Omelette for breakfast with a LARGE chicken BONE in the omelette. When the waitress saw the bone she grabbed a napkin and took it off the plate. The chicken in the omelette was not totally cooked… after 2 bites I couldn’t eat it… I’m going to chalk it up to a bad morning in the kitchen.

Tried this place a few different times and was more underwhelmed each visit. They don’t pay attention to your order, something is guaranteed to be made incorrectly or forgotten completely. The food is nothing special. And the worst thing is how I hear the wait staff talking to their helpers. Probably won’t be back.

I usually go to The Stateline Diner in Mahwah, which never disappoints, but my son and I decided to give the Kingsbridge a try. What mistake! I ordered eggs benedict and my son ordered a bacon cheeseburger. When our food came out, I noticed my son’s hamburger bun had green mold on it! I flagged our waitress, and pointed it out to her. She was totally un-apologetic. She took the burger back and we had to wait another 10 minutes for a replacement. Not a word of apology for the gross moldy bun or the long wait.

I’m always bringing my French family when they come to visit for a full American breakfast. The breakfast offers a large portion for a really really cheap price. The food is correct — nothing special.

I came in with a friend at lunch and it was dead which I didn’t mind. Maybe it was an off day for service. This server lady definitely has places she would rather be. Food was adequate, but i could definitely see them having some good signature dishes. It definitely has that old fashioned, not too many mirrors Diner look for a nice little atmosphere. I could see going there with a girl on a winter night when it’s brutally cold outside and it’s the only place that’s open. Otherwise there’s a Chipotle down the street.

Solid diner. Good bacon. They leave you alone except to refill your cup. What else could you ask for?

It was just a normal diner, nothing special. I got 2 eggs, bacon and 2 pancakes. Nothing was really remarkable, but nothing was really bad. The pancakes tasted like diner pancakes. I did wish the bacon was a bit crisper, but it was diner bacon. Basically it’s fine when you need a place to go, but I would probably prefer somewhere else.

We went for an early lunch where the portions were tremendous. I ordered a turkey panini that could feed two people, plus the curly fries which were excellent. Hubby had the cheese burger and I didn’t hear any complaints out of him. Good service, fair price.
