Terrible service driver called me 2 times had no clue where to deliver. I had to call the store they said they where coming and still no one showed up. Can’t say how the food is they never showed up to deliver it. Will never order from here again. Not worth the time could wait all night for nothing just a waste! Manager is a jerk cussed me out on the phone. Not a friendly place don’t take your family here don’t even try eating here.

I’m picky about pizza and it’s one of my favorites. Haven’t really tried their food. But pizza is great.

Mahwah Pizza Master has the best catered food in the area! For years, this was our«pizza place.» They make the best. I needed a place to cater food for a party and I asked the owner if he had a catering menu. He gave me the menu and brought out a dish of penne vodka to try. It was fantastic. A few nights later, I ordered take-out of all the dishes I was interested in catering. I ordered eggplant rollatine, chicken francese, sausage peppers and onions and penne a la vodka. I put it all out in front of my family and we had a tasting. With every bite, they all said«delicious.» Each dish is bursting with flavor. I order chicken francese often from other places, but this dish was better than I’ve had. The sauté was light with just the right amount of lemon. Worthy of bread dunking. I’m not a huge fan of sausage but this dish is made with marinara sauce which complements the sausage, peppers and onions perfectly. Eggplant rollatine melted in your mouth and the penne a la vodka is creamy and mouthwatering. Needless to say, I ordered all these dishes for my party and it was a hit. There were barely any leftovers and everyone wanted to know where I ordered from. If you want your next party or family dinner to be a success, go see Larry, the owner. Great guy who makes great food.

Place has been here forever(and it looks it.). Sub-par pizza, and not the best quality food. There is far superior in the area. Conveniently located in a strip mall.

I ordered a pie and it was so delicious! I don’t understand why all the bad reviews. The man making the pizzas was also very nice. We have now found a great pizza restaurant close to home! Will go again soon

These guys are great! I’m originally from NYC, so I’m pretty picky about pizza. Apparently, so are my kids, and they love pizza from Mahwah Pizza Master. The staff is super friendly — definitely recommended!

I order from Mahwah Pizza at least 1 – 2 a week. The food is great and Larry the owner, and his wife are great people. My kids are picky eaters, so the fact that they love it, is awesome! Since I started going to Mahwah Pizza, we now have them cater for us several times a year. The chicken is awesome, and the stuff shells are the best… I don’t like the fact that they don’t always have my favorite Philly Cheesesteak slice available :)

Take a look at the other reviews. They all say this place is one of the worst and I have to agree. I came here for a slice of pizza on a lunch break and from the outside it looks like a nice place. I ordered a plain slice and the guy working the register had the worse hygiene and had his hands all over the slice. I reluncantly ate my expensive slice and didnt even finish it. How is this place still open? I say avoid

When I was in college, Pizza Master was the place to go. After moving back to Mahwah, it really hasn’t changed much. It is run by high school kids that enjoy socializing. Don’t get me wrong, they are very attentive and nice but unless the owner is there too, I can almost guarantee any pizza you order will come out too well done. The place is empty and needs a major face lift but I also realize they aren’t trying to be a 5-Star restaurant. What bothers me most is how good this place COULD be if they were just more consistent with their cooking temperatures. The taco pizza is great and the sauce and crust on their regular pizza is also quite good. But like I said, if the owner isn’t there, rest-assured, the pizza will be overcooked. One thing that baffles me is why they don’t use fresh ingredients. Their chicken parm would be great if the chicken didn’t taste of freezer burn. And as I watch them take out bags of frozen broccoli when making pizzas, I just wonder what would be so terrible if they used fresh veggies? Watch ANY cooking show… This saves money. One last point. I am not judging my review on it but why can’t places like this get awesome, seeded Italian hero bread from the Bronx? They deliver to local pizza shops. What an amazing, competitive advantage they would have if they can state, «Bread from Arthur Avenue» on the front window. The signs they currently have cheapen their brand if you ask me.

Ordered from here when I first moved to town. Pizza is pretty good and consistent — Ask for yours well done: It won’t be burned, rather it will be cooked properly. Salads are very good!

I am sorry, is this pizza or wonder bread with ketchup and string cheese on top. The worst slice of pizza I have ever had, hands down.

When we order from here, we always get the Chicken Marsala. It is AWESOME. The spoon it over spaghetti, or penne, and the noodles soak up all the sauce, and it is great. The pizza is awesome too. They really take care when making everything, so it is always a good eat.

Not a bad slice for Jersy pizza. It has decent consistency and a good amount of cheese without a puddle of grease. They must learn how to properly cut a pizza though. I’ve never seen such uneven cut slices before in a delivery box. I was actually pleasantly surprised.
