B-Balls Meatballs

Awesome sandwiches. Quick and easy. I never thought I’d say I want blue balls again.

I first tried this deli upon a recommendation from a friend. It was a little hard to find it at first as it’s not on the main street in Suffern but down in a residential area. The actual deli has been there for well over 50 years. But it has been a meatball shop only for the past couple years. In addition to meatballs they serve pizza both the regular size and personal. Along with regular deli sandwiches. But their specialty are scrumptious meatball subs. They have over a dozen different types. Cutely named with double entendre. Like blue balls or the whole package sweaty balls.
I tried the traditional meatball Parmesan sub. It came out in about 12 minutes. Smelled and looked delicious. I noticed the hoagie roll was very nicely toasted so it added A crunch to the sandwich when eating it. The meatballs were flavorful and
The sauce and Parmesan cheese were spot on. A very good tasting sauce with just the amount of sweetness and tanginess. The meatballs weren’t too spicy but not bland they had their own special flavor and secret ingredient.
Definitely one of the best meatball subs I have had in a long time. I have also tried their personal pizza with a single topping and it’s a real bargain at seven dollars. They also have a great special of two regular slices and a soft drink for four dollars. Make sure you come by here and try anyone of their delicious meatball subs. Get daring and try some of the creative creations they offer in a meatball sub.

My husband and I stopped in yesterday on the way to Newark Airport. Thanks to Unilocalers I got a last slice of good pizza.
We had pizza-​by-​the-​slice — plain and pepperoni — and it was delicious. Also ordered 2 subs to go for the place — the American and Italian. Very large sub for one person. It was 2 full meals for me, 1 for Tim. The bread was fresh and they are generous with the cold cuts and toppings.
I wish we could have tried the meatballs — the sandwiches sounded amazing but we didn’t have time to stay and figured they wouldn’t work in our airplane seats.
The woman who helped us was friendly and quick and there are a few tables to sit down and eat. It was clean and all-​around a good lunch stop.

This is one of my favorite places to go. The food is delicious and the owners are so warm and friendly. They give so much to the community and work so hard. They had a special marsala, meatballs and they were so good I couldn’t stop thinking of them until I went back within a week to have them agsin. There’s a reason they were rated one of the top restaurants to eat.

I was at B-​Balls yesterday, for the first time, with a few of my colleagues. Despite the fact that it was 100 degrees inside, the lady at the counter took almost ten minutes to take order, and even longer to be served, I was still optimistic due to the high Unilocal ratings.
I ordered the Butcher’s Balls, which were described as «Meatballs topped with grilled marinated steak, layered with baked potato sour cream, salt and peppers.» This dish was nothing short of a disaster, most notably, the dry overcooked meatballs; I had expected that a meatball restaurant would have big, juicy, flavorful meatballs. What I received instead was crusty chunks of bland meatballs, tough, grizzly strips of beef, and potatoes wedges with the peel still on. I was horrified, as were my colleagues when I showed them my dish.
I planned on complaining when the lady at the counter asked our group how everything was, but she was so busy making turkey sandwiches that she didn’t even look up at our group or wait for answer, let alone ask us individually how our meals were.
I have been working in Suffern for 10+ years, and am thankful that there are so many better lunch options in town.

This place a hidden gem in Suffern! My mom and I first tried them last year and have been hooked ever since! I feel as though a lot of people in the county don’t know about B-​Balls because it is kind of off the beaten track in a residential neighborhood which is such a shame because EVERYONE needs to know about this place!
The bread bowls are to die for, they are so filling and most of the time I’m only able to eat half, but they really are one of a kind. The blue balls and buffalo balls are my fave! Sometimes we’ll get a margarita pizza which is really good too.
I love supporting family businesses, and this place really is a family business. They are ALWAYS so friendly when I go in to pick up my food and one guy (who I think is the owner) always makes conversation when I go in and is super personable.
I make sure I tell everyone about this place, love the food, love supporting local business. 5 stars all the way, keep up the great work B-​Balls!

This place is awesome, great people and a diverse way to get some good Italian food. Only improvement I can think of is I wish it was open later! Closes at 730 on weekdays. Other than that go eat here, you won’t regret it; and they deliver. Really a great place, they brought a unique idea into the restaurant industry and executed it perfectly. Deserves more than 5 stars.
On a side note, they deliver boars head deli meat by the pound for great prices; only place I’ve ever seen that does that. It definitely beats standing in line at the food store. Thumbs up to that.

My husband and I have ordered from here twice so far. The first time, I had the blue balls, which was fantastic. The meatballs are seasoned well and the sandwich was delicious. Recently I wasn’t feeling well and wanted something comforting so I tried the meatballs in tomato soup in a bread bowl. It was packed with meatballs and the soup was good, and the entire thing was covered in melted cheese. I wanted to hop inside the bread bowl! I can’t wait to order that on a cold winter day. The food is well prepared and well priced, and of course, delicious. Just make sure to order enough in advance since it takes a little while to cook and prepare the orders.

I just went to B-​Balls Meatballs for lunch with a few co-​workers. This place was recommended to me by my husband’s coworker.
We first pulled up to B-​Balls, at first we weren’t sure if we at the right place since we were in a residential neighborhood. It’s located on a street corner of a residential street, the store front reminded me of the corner stores in Philadelphia. We walk in and there was a small seating area, drink coolers and the counter. The woman behind the counter was very friendly and answered our questions.
I ordered the Alfredo Balls and my two other coworkers ordered the Gyro Balls and a ham sub. My sub was amazing! The meatballs were fresh and homemade, the Alfredo sauce was just the right consistency, had good flavor and seasoning. We all agreed that this place had great food and we’ll definitely be back again!

This is a very friendly and super clean place to eat the food is mouth watering. I wanted to try everything on the menu! Everyone was very happy with what they ordered and not a single bite was left … And no one shared a bite either! It was that good! Definitely Will be back!

I was here a few days ago, happened to be in the area, followed the good reviews and didn’t regret it. On a whim I ordered their «Great Balls of Fire» because I love hot peppers and hot sauce. They offer this for free if you can eat it there in under 10 minutes without a drink, but I wasn’t up to be competitive. The sandwich is indeed hot as hell and I ended up finishing it in four separate sittings. It cleared out my sinuses and was delicious in portions I could handle.
Staff was very courteous. I’ll be back when I’m in the area.

Great food! Our kids love the different sandwiches with their funny names. The owner is so nice and friendly. Can’t wait to check out their new Italian ice place. Prices are reasonable. They don’t use a lot of salt, so you do have to season to your taste a little.

The food is delicious. The staff is very friendly. I love places like this. They definitely don’t play it safe with their sauces and styles. Bold, creative, and sure to please every palate. I hope to go again soon.

These meatballs are awesome! I was referred to this establishment by a friend and they heaped so much praise on it that I was naturally skeptical. In an attempt to determine whether their opinions have an merit, I decided to check it out.
I was not disappointed! Quality ingredients and they are quite friendly. I would definitely recommend it!

Great meatball subs, cold sandwiches and great fries. If you like blue cheese, try the «blue ball» sub! Can’t wait to try their other sandwiches.

I just loved to the neighborhood and I live right around the corner from BBalls Meatballs. They are the nicest people and are always sweet when you go to their store. I order chicken franchise like three times a week from them and there chicken franchise kicks ASS!!! I sometimes have my food delivered to me (yes I know I sound lazy because I live just around the corner) and the delivery boy is always on time and he even asked me if he could help me take my garbage out one day because he saw me taking my garbage down my stairs. By the way if you like deviled eggs they make them fresh everyday. I lovvvvvveeeee them.

What a fantastic place. The owners are awesome and the food is fantastic. I got the gyro balls and it was awesome. My kiddo got spaghetti and meatballs and he loved it. What a great experience and friendly, family oriented place.

We happened across B-​Balls on our road trip from NYC to Albany. So glad we did! The meatballs are amazing and you can get just about any variety of meatball sandwich imaginable. Everyone in the shop is friendly and we felt like part of the family! We will be stopping back through & recommending to everyone we know. Great job!!!
