Stayed here for one night a couple weeks ago. The front desk staff was very rude at check-in. The room was very nice & clean. That night they had a wedding and I spent most of my night be woken up by slamming doors, phones going off, and people screaming until about 5am. Hotel management didn’t seem to care, or do anything to address the noise. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you want to get any sleep.

A gf of mine had her wedding here this past September. It was set up beautifully and I felt like everything flowed well. The suite that they had set up for the bridal party was nice and spacious. The only gripe I have about this hotel is that the walls are super thin! After a long and exhausting day, all I wanted to do was sleep! Instead, I was kept up by all the«noises» from the couple that was in the room next to me.

There is something wrong with this Sheraton Hotel. It is beautiful, nice pool and nice event rooms. The food is good in their restaurant. Yet when you go for a function there they charge 22% tip on top of the expensive food and tax. It say it on the menu for parties of six or more! OK, we all like to tip for service, but this is going too far. I spent over $ 5,000 on rooms alone for the weekend not to mention food and they had the insane idea that the service was so good that I would be overjoyed to cough up over a hundred dollars in tip for every breakfast, lunch and dinner? Times have changed when service staff get their tip without the service.

Came here for a wedding last weekend — though it’s in the middle of nowhere in Mahwah, the establishment was decent, the wedding hall as beautifully set up, and the rooms were nice and clean. They also have a pretty sick presidential suite. While service at the hotel restaurant was awful, the food was really yummy.
