Just wanted some take out tonight, big mistake. Parking lot attendants acted like a-holes pushing people around. The food was horrible and wrong. We ordered whole what pasta and it wasn’t. We ordered no dressing on salad. The salad, it was drenched. Very difficult to mess up chicken parm, it was tasteless. The only reason that I gave two stars, was I have eaten there a few times before and the food was good. I will remember, not to go back.

Love this place, if you are going off of reviews on Unilocal fine… but take it from a fat guy the food is spot on! I have had several meals here and it’s a must stop if in the area. Great for kids and family gatherings or for a couple just looking to have a bottle of wine and an app. Over all I give it a 4 out of 5 stars, for one reason we can always look for improvement in life.

This restaurant is very good as far as food and service. A bit pricey in my book, but the Veal Milanese is excellent…

I had the pizza and salmon and was delicious. They also had homemade dinner rolls that were exquisite. Overall it was great

Great spot for a filling and yummy Italian lunch. Portions are huge here and I always end up with enough for a second meal later. I really like the salads and appreciate the different options.

My wife and I had dinner here with the whole family. The waitress was above and beyond good. We had a spectrum of appetizers and entrees and the whole family liked thier individual choices.

My family has been dining at Roxanne’s for a little over 12 years. It’s an Italian restaurant with killer brick oven pizza. Many of the entrees and appetizers are served family style so try not to over order(unless you want leftovers). My family normally splits a pizza, large salad, and 2 pasta entrees. The geminelli with grilled chicken and tomatoes is one of my favorite pasta dishes. Can’t go wrong with the plain or meatball pies! Can get quite crowded on the weekend, but had a nice bar to grab a drink out while waiting for a table.

Time for a shake up st Roxannes… I don’t think I encountered a waitress with such a poor attitude and totally inept in working with the public… make me feel good about spending my money… Varka does it along with many other stops… poor service starts from the top and usually is time for a major change… food was good but it can’t out weigh poor poor service… poor service has ruined many of establishments… or limited the profitability… bring you A game everyday… unfortunately they can’t bring there F game…

Went here on Saturday night with my family of 7, and it was a delicious meal. They are a full service bar and restaurant, with so many more offerings than just pizza. The family sized arugula salad was delicious and perfectly sized for the 5 adults who were enjoying it. The pizzas were perfectly crisp and cooked in a wood burning pizza oven. Finally, the wings were delicious. Dry rubbed to perfection with sauce on the side. Another plus is their draft beer selection… Yeah, I’ll be back.

Good solid place. Great thin crust pizza. Huge salads. Would recommend it on most occasions. However, no idea what a reservation is. To quote Jerry Seinfeld: Hostess: I know what a reservation is. Jerry: I don’t think you do. You know how to TAKE a reservation, but you don’t know how to HOLD a reservation. Called ahead. Made a 7:15. Arrived at 7:17 and were told that it would be at least 25 minutes. Not the best for a family with young kids.

Hugely disappointed in how this restaurant is managed. Starting with the valet parking, which seems to be necessary as the lot is way too small for the number of people they pack in the restaurant. We went on a Saturday night without a reservation. Huge mistake! They told us the wait was 30 minutes. Normally, we would have left but you feel locked in because it takes 10 minutes to get your car back as the poor kids managing the lot don’t have enough spaces. The greeter kept telling us we were next, but an hour later, we were still waiting. It didn’t seem much better if you had a reservation, as they were told to wait also. We finally left! On my way out, I politely told the manager that they should be more honest with wait times and perhaps tell people BEFORE they valet parked their cars. She didn’t seem too concerned. In addition, there’s no place to wait. The bar gets overrun and it’s extremely noisy. In my past experiences the food and service was mediocre at best. They don’t seem to know how to manage a restaurant or care that much about their customers experiences. Go to Mason Jar instead. The food is better and they care about their customers. I’ll never go back to Roxanne’s.

Let’s start w the food: Ahhhh great! I’m here w a large group from Cali Ariz & Texas doing some volunteer work in nearby Warwick NY& stayin w/in a 20 min walk of this Italian gem Everything we had in the month we were here was truly authentic I brought many here until the whole hotel starting makin the walk in what was called the coldest winter since ’93 it was worth it! My fav the baked Ziti w/choice of cheese mild or spicy sausage was hard to leave but everyone ordered something diff & were not disappointed :) The staff: GREAT! Jody(apparently family) & the rest of the team showed they had a great interest to insure all were cared for & made us feel like we were locals Thanks again Roxanne’s We’ll be back in the fall

Went to Roxanne’s tonight with a group of friends who have not had a chance to get together for a long time. Most of us are moms and looking for a nice night out since those are few and far between these days! When we sat down at the table, we were instantly uncomfortable because the heaters next to our table were cranked up so high we felt like our legs were on fire. We asked the waitress about it who offered no help what-so-ever. When we finally got around to ordering drinks only some of them were delivered and some of us had to remind the waitress what we ordered. This continued throughout the whole meal… Wine by the glass tasted very cheap as well. As far as the food went it was decent but nothing special. Their menu does not offer much variety. When the food arrived one of my friend’s meals was wrong and they also brought a random side of sautéed spinach that the waitress said was«extra» and we should just have it. After we had been picking at it, a different server came and said«that’s not for you», took it and I assume delivered it to another table. Oops! Apologies to whoever got that! As we were eating our meals, a waiter came darting through the doorway and spilled half a dish of chicken Marsala all over my friend, her coat and the floor. All they did afterward was offer her a dirty dish towel to clean her jacket with. No real apology was made or compensation offered. Our server was also nowhere to be found most of the night. Overall a disappointing night out for a group of ladies who could really use one! I would not go back here after this experience. The food would have to be much better than it is to put up with the very poor service we received. With so many good restaurants nearby, save your nights out for a more deserving establishment!

I’ve been to Roxanne’s a number of times over the past few years and every time I leave satisfied. Last night my family and I went for dinner, the food was great, we got a large salad for the table and 3 individual dishes that we shared between 5 adults. I would recommend the family style for large parties but the individual dishes are large enough to be shared as well. Last night we tried the baked ziti with sausage, penne vodka with shrimp and chicken parmigiana. Everything was delicious, came out quickly and hot plus we had a fantastic waitress. The only complaint I would have about Roxanne’s is the noise level. The dining room is tight and since they cater to larger parties it can get quite loud. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for the entire family.

This restaurant is family style, and also a place for local workers to enjoy a lunch with their colleagues. I have yet to try their pizza, but i’ve heard that it is almost as good as/just as good as Kinchley’s down the road. Most dishes come with the option of individual portion or family style. I’ve only been here for lunch and the salads are really delicious. You have the choice of grilled salmon, chicken, or shrimp as a protein to go on top of your chosen salad. A favorite of mine would be the Roxanne’s Salad with grilled salmon on top. The homemade italian dressing is delicious. The home baked bread is a must to munch on while waiting for your dish. I’ve never experienced a problem with the wait staff, even at their busiest times.

Family Style, that’s the point of eating at a place like Roxanne’s. Incredible portions, and high quality home style cooking. Excellent salad, just the right amount of dressing. Eggplant & Zucchini chips, fried perfectly. Wine list is fairly priced, better than the $ 7 a glass for the house wine actually. Chicken Marsala, ordered with the vegetable sides, to die for. Veggies al-dente, roasted potatoes with a great garlic flavor… Eggplant rolatini, done perfect, pasta side, hefty red-sauce, a winner. Tiramisu and the cheesecake were right on the money, one of the best, lightest cheesecakes we’ve had. Took the left-overs and we’ll enjoy another meal later. They really don’t need any more high marks, you can’t get in many a night. Doing it right, and it shows. Love it!

I went here at the recommendation of a client who lives in this area. Food was light and not greasy. I started off with the Roxanne chips, which are lightly fried eggplant and zucchini slices– thinly sliced with a tasty yogurt dip. I had a spinach white pizza — crust was thin and crispy. No skimping on the ricotta and mozzarella cheese. Definitely recommend if you are looking for an Italian restaurant. We went during peak dinner hours and it was crowded and noisy, but plenty of seating is available.

Kinchley’s was mobbed with patrons so we drove down the road and discovered Roxanne’s. The thin crust pizza was good but because I had Kinchley’s in mind, it fell a bit short but, still, pretty good. Only issue was that the pizza arrived warm, not hot. Brick oven = bazillion degrees so why was it sitting? They have a lot of employees. Anyway, I really enjoyed their version of chicken Milanese(however, a bit of a different take on Milanese than what I’m used to having — the chicken is not pounded thin and theirs is also more Francais-like than the typical bruschetta topping and balsamic glaze). My wife enjoyed her pasta Bolognese and my little guy ate a healthy portion of his spaghetti and meatballs. I think this place needs a signature dish to stand out from the crowd. Too many«go-to» standards in the neighborhood. I wish them luck because, overall, nice place, nice servers and decent selection of food.

3.5 stars for a really fun family-style place with good service, excellent prices, and pretty good food. This is a terrific place to go with a group. You can order family-style dishes or individual sized dishes(which I understand are also quite large), and really feel like you’re at home having dinner. My family of 5 ½(my adorable niece is too young for non-baby food) ordered garlic bread with cheese, family-style Italiana salad, and family-style chicken francaise over linguine. We all ate heartily and there was enough. I wasn’t crazy about their flat-bread-style garlic bread, but we all enjoyed the other dishes. Perhaps the best part: dinner for the family with tip(we’re not a drinking bunch so it was without alcohol) was under $ 100. It’s loud so it’s not a great date place, but there’s an outdoor area that may provide a bit more intimacy.
