Fatburger

To no one’s great surprise, this place is now closed. Too bad. What a waste of investment dollars. To the owner: If you’re not going to show that you care about the quality of your food and your staff, you shouldn’t have wasted your money.
All patrons of any successful restaurant want (whether fast food or high end) is a consistent good product with good service. Its a simple formula that works.

Pretty bland. The veggie burger is not tasty & the fries always taste old and uninteresting. Ok when your desperate, but would definitely not make Fatburger my first choice!

One star still too good for this burger;(?!! Fries were half burnt and half cold? Pretty hard to do? 11:30 only one in here and it took 20 mins. For a mustard burger and cold/​burnt fries? Oh yes 12:00 $$ WTF NEVER NEVER AGAIN!!! Worst thing is they dont care??! At least not til they out of business;(!!!

Not very impressed. I have not had a stellar meal here. But when you feel like a burger it is better than mcdonalds up the street I guess

I have to say I was not impressed with the food the first time I went in. I also have been dissapointed by the service in the past, but that is to be expected from any new business. I am glad that this business has found its stride and now has great customer service and is cranking out quality bugers and food. I think they have one of the best breakfast menus upcountry and there prices are reasonable. the food is fresh and tasty. if your looking for a good breakfast or burger while upcountry pay a few dollars more and grab a burger or breakfast plate. great selection of ingredients to go on burger and diffrent size burgers depending on how hungry you are.

Worst Fatburger ever!!! Meat dry, bun dry, fat fries soggy and barely warm, yellow peppers old and soggy… served me a side of chili… COLD! Had to ask to have it heated, really! WORST EVER!

We stop here almost every sunday. Burgers are great, fries are made to order always hot and fresh. Been at least ten times and never had a bad experience.

Maybe I came on a bad day?
The workers were accommodating and all, but the food was lackluster, especially for the price.
We ordered 2 fatburger deals and a baby fat deal, as well as a hotdog. Total came out to $ 38.xx.
The fat fries do better if you take-​out. Skinny fries were just plain horrible.
Hot dog was small and dinky with NO fixings (I would’ve drove to Fukushima’s for better hotdogs .)
Baby fat burger is the size of a Mcdonalds hamburger, but quadruple the price.
I think this location will do well, since there aren’t many places to eat upcountry.
Drive to Lahaina and go to Teddy’s. They take iDcards too (15% off, baby!)

Seriously excellent. As a chef I give it 5 stars for what it is. Huge portions of delicious semi sloppy cheeseburgers. Mine was cooked perfectly. I’m going to become a regular :)

This was my second time around and ate in since I had company, which was definitely better as the burger was warm and fries hot & crispy.
I ordered the large combo (oink!) and this time got everything on the burger (including onions which I asked to be grilled) plus cheese. The grilled onions gave the burger a whole different taste. Add one star baby!
Yes its still pricey, but if you live in the area and have only Fatburger or McD’s to choose from, why not spend another $ 5 and get a bigger, better tasting burger?
Positive plus — they stopped that annoying yelling of the orders to the kitchen staff. The only thing they say now is «Fat tip!» if you drop money in the tip jar. It was a less than enthusiastic «thank you» from 1 of the 4 or 5 peeps in the kitchen, but I know it can get old after a while. Ahh the stupid things some corporations make their employees do.

Good for a fast food burger, but a little overpriced for what you get.

If you like burgers, you gotta check this place out. The burgers are huge, the ingredients are fresh, the onion rings and fries are great, and the shakes are amazing.
***Tip: add grilled onions, bacon, and cheese. Or get a side of onion rings and throw a couple in your burger and add BBQ sauce for a «western» style of burger.

Fries were great, burgers were just meh, I’ve had better. Prices were good though for the size of burger you get.

Liked the fat fries, and skinny fries. Nice and hot, and plenty. Burger was different. They use some kind of relish spread that took over the burger taste. I enjoyed it, but it was expensive. Paid about $ 23.00 for two burgers, two fries, and two soft drinks. Need more seating for folks who are waiting for to go orders, or maybe an outside speaker system. I live in Kihei and made a special trip to Pukalani. I would not do it again. I wish they put it somewhere more central.

Price: Little on the pricy side. over $ 40 for 3 burgers, 2 fries n 1 onion ring.
Atmosphere: There was indoor and outdoor seating. kinda loud. and there was a T.V.
Food: Good burger. Had all the basic fixings. Added bacon and cheese. Fries were nothing great. Onion rings were freshly made, but there was barley any onion in them.
Id reccomend it though. For the burger.

WAY over priced, and not a good burger, my one and ONLY visit I got a one small and one medium burger, thats it…16 bucks. They are not on Front Street or in Kapalua, they are in the heart of hard working local people upcountry. PLEASE… you could feed a family of four at McDonalds around the corner. It would be one thing if the burger was AMAZING but it wasn’t. Should be called Fat Price Burger.

Food is awesome but the workers are still new and learning the ropes. They messed up our order more than once but all were very nice and polite. Still on the learning curve. We have eaten there 8 times since they opened each time it is super yummo. The add on’s do make the bill go up so be careful. GREAT food, can eat outside and great to take kids they can run around. We are officially addicted. Yummo
