Local Tastes Of Maui

We did the Paia walking food tour with Sharon. We were a small intimate group of four… and brought along our little 18-​month old boy. Our guide Sharon was awesome, patient, informative.
The tour took us to 8 – 10 establishments in the town of Paia. We tried various food items from various restaurants… with historical commentary along the way.
We received a 10% off card to use at any of the participating establishments we visited. The tour lasted 2 hours and was a good overview of the town. Will book a tour with the company again in a future visit!
Before our arrival to the island, I have been in constant contact via email with the owner, Cindi. She was prompt in answering questions prior to the tour.
Highly recommended!

We just got home (Kihei) from the Lahaina tour this morning with Kent. We loved the tour and we’re really impressed with Kent’s knowledge of Hawaii, Maui and Lahaina. It brought our enjoyment of Lahaina to another level. The places included in the tour were great, and the samples were plentiful and very good. We plan to sign up for all of the other tours within the next two months! Only good things to say!

I live her part time and have done both the Lahaina and Paia tour when friends and family have visited. Both were excellent. Cindi and her staff are very knowledgable, friendly and fun. Even though I’ve spent much time on the island, I’ve learned more about it through them and enjoy the exploration and new infromation. All of the food sampled was great, love having new places to go to now having had a sampling of what they offer. On her web site Cindi does say that there must be a minimum number of guests registerd for the tour or it will be cancelled and she will notify — only reasonable! highly recommend

Had paid for the Lahina tour but was notified 2 days prior that it was canceled due to not having enough people.
Of course our money was refunded but we were really looking forward to the tour and sampling some of the local dishes. We had been to Maui 9 times but never got the local history info. This was our chance.
I hope they get their act together so as not to disappoint others at the last minute.

Hi, I visited Maui with my Mom a couple of years ago and we had such an incredible experience seeing the island, and in particular, getting to experience the true local feeling of ‘old Hawaii” by escaping the tourist hang outs and seeing Makawao and Paia and tasting some incredible dishes with Cindi. I highly recommend this tour as Cindi is an incredible island host and knows all of the great local spots. This is a must do on your next visit…
