My Pizza

After we moved closer to Maplewood Square, we began trying all of the restaurants. My Pizza is our favorite local place for sandwiches. We really like the steak bomb, meatball and grilled buffalo chicken sandwiches. The two people who run the place are really nice. I’m glad we live within walking distance!

We moved to MA from the South and have lamented the loss of some of our favorite soul food restaurants. My Pizza, oddly, is our fried chicken favorite! We are not fans of their pizza or sides (we’ve only ever had delivery — maybe it’s better in the restaurant), but their fried chicken is FABULOUS. It is literally the only thing we order and it is consistently crispy, juicy, and not greasy. The breading is seasoned well and it’s just great fried chicken! We have served it to our relatives visiting from the South and they agree that it is really great. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Let’s start this off with there’s not many good places in Malden but this place is tremendous the steak and cheese with peppers and onions is amazing and the chicken broccoli ziti is fabulous and if you like pastrami that is good too this place completely surprised me and I’m glad I went.

We ordered the Party Deal (1 topping pizza, chicken fingers and breadsticks). First of all, great customer service. We didn’t know we had the choice of garlic or cheesy breadsticks and they called instead of choosing for us. It’s minor but I appreciated it. The thin crust pizza was one of the best we’ve found in this area and I already want more chicken fingers. The dough for the pizza and breadsticks is tasty all on its own. It’s rare that we eat pizza crust but it’s soft and chewy instead of charred and rock-​hard. We’ll definitely be ordering from here again.

Awful food and service. I’m wasting no more than 2 sentences on them.

Chicken pargm sub, chicken broccoli ziti, or bacon/​chicken pizza with white sauce. All are great. Love these guys. Prices are good, food is always delivered hot and fast. Easy to order online as well. A great place in Malden.

First of all we ordered 2 large subs and a large fry it came to $ 25 next it took over an hour to get here when this place is literally 2 blocks away when it got here the owner was the delivery driver stating he was really busy and he had other orders in his car that sat for over an hour which was supposed to make me feel better that my subs and fries felt like they just came out the freezer this is very bad business and I don’t understand why this wasn’t first stated upon ordering needless to say won’t b ordering from these people anymore kids got school in the morning and we waiting around on them HORRIBLE !!!

Big fresh sub rolls! If you like fresh bread well you can’t get any fresher than this !!! Also there’s a review from someone called Low M on here, before you take into account any of the foolishness this person wrote, go and take a good look at all their reviews, they are just about all negative. My guess! Some asshole whose single, overweight and has no life… Just a guess but why else wouldn’t they post a pic on their profile? Bahahaha
Oh yeah the people who run My Pizza couldn’t be nicer and more hard working. Make it «your pizza» Ya see what I did there !?!

I regularly order from My Pizza and get the same thing: buffalo wing dinner. So good! The wings are fat and juicy. I always ask for them extra wet since they put on sauce but I prefer them dripping. Good fries and onion rings too. Their pizza isn’t bad either. Only change I would suggest is switching from Pepsi products to Coke.
Their delivery is great — very fast and the delivery guys are very nice and respectful.

I was worried about ordering from a new place… Fried Chicken was the best I ever had!!! Amazing! hope the rest of the menu is as good!

My mother and I have been making it a habit of ordering from here once a week for her diabetic «cheat» day where she indulges in a couple of slices of pizza. After tonight, I will be ordering from N.Y. Pizza from now on. We used foodler today (Tuesday) to order and were patiently waiting an hour and fifteen minutes for a large pizza. After such a long wait, I called the restaurant to see what was taking so long. I asked to check on the order, and was told the generic «its on its way». I responded, last week we ordered and were told the same and the pizza was literally ice cold when it showed up. And the person on the other end of the phone responded,
I quote: «well call back when it gets there with your bullshit.»
Well, as someone that has been a loyal customer for over a year and a half i was apauled and disheartened by the way they treat their customer base. To be treated like that by a businesses that is asking us to spend our hard earned money on a product that is inconsistent is not worth my time.
I have worked in the food service industry for over 20 years and I have never once asked for a hand out because of an issue. Like most on here they just want what they ordered to be correct and worth the money spent.
My Pizza does NOT deserve yours or my patronage.
Yes, I canceled my order and will never order anything again from them.

OOOHHH where do I begin…
This past Saturday I received a menu in the mail & that should have been the sign right there but No I was like, Hey lets try them out… (Keeping in mind I NEVER do this, I usually research new places before I try)
So we read the menu all day & just look it over & then decide we want fairly standard things.
Peppeyoni (for my son) who then pulls the pepperoni off but whatever hes happy (Hes 3)
Steak Tip Salad & Steak Tip DInner…
Nothing major, no major changes… Placed the order around 6:15 (keeping in mind my son eats around 530 but this day was off a little — he was ok waiting)
7 comes around NOTHING, 720 I call & the person who answered the phone was amazed I hadnt received it yet… He said Ooh Hes just leaving
745 comes and goes… Still nothing… 8 I call back and Im like, «This is Ridiculous» He agrees, «You are right this is ridiculous» he says I need to give you some money back… I say well I already paid with my card to which he couldnt figure out how to change the amount of, so he says… Ill give you $$ off your next order (DUDE, WHAT MAKES YOU THINK ILL ORDER AGAIN)… And says it should be on its way
About 15 minutes later, Driver shows up — I ask if it is still hot, he says Ooh yeah definitely I just left, I said well he told me you left over an hour ago… He was confused, couldnt even imagine what I was talking about… Then he proceeds to hand me the bag & drops the dinner, the container breaks & spills all inside the bag… RUINED
So my 3 year old who normally goes to bed around 8 – 830 is now eating dinner at bed time… I guess I could have improvised and made him somthing else, but why should I have had to…
So I really want to tell these people to Kiss My Ass, but I really want to take advantage of the credit (if they even remember me when I call)… I am not usually one to cast judgement on 1 time, so I might give them another chance, but it wont be this month!

Service is below average — every time I phone in an order for pick-​up (around 5 times now), I have to wait in the store for my order to be ready. Yesterday I waited around 20 – 25 minutes before heading over, only to find that they hadn’t even started my order before I arrived. This stuff happens, but when it does I at least want a slice of pizza or something while I’m waiting.
The food is very average — at best. Both the pizza and pasta sauce is just a bit off. Chicken parm uses tenders rather than chicken breasts. Etc. As a result, it adds up pretty food but nothing to brag about food.
Altogether, it’s slightly below average. A good place for convenience but look elsewhere for quality.

OH MY GOD THE FRIED CHICKEN IS AMAZING. Get as many chicken wings as you can.
Other stuff has a very strong garlic taste which works for me but might be a minus for others. And when they say 20min til it ready. It is 20 min. not a minute sooner.

I’m done with this place. The first few times I ordered, it was great. I would get greek chicken wraps, gyro, or other wraps, and sometimes baked mac and cheese plates and it would have been a 4 star rating. BUT the quality control is wacked. So this place rates for me more like a 1 – 4 star, depending on the day. The last 2 times I’ve ordered, my sub was soggy as hell and the mac and cheese was devoid of any sort of flavoring. It tasted like plain pasta slathered with vaseline. When I order food and it ends up uneaten in a trash can, it’s a bad sign, sorry.

I love the food here, alfredo pizza is my favorite, and their chix, broccoli ziti dish is just great. Steak fries here also! Although, I’d recommend ordering it in store, because delivery they seem to forget a lot of the things you order. Ex: got a salad ordered ranch dressing, got italian dressing, ordered 2 liter diet pepsi got 1 liter diet pepsi, or 2 ltr regular pepsi. Things like that, kinda suck but can be avoided if you’re not lazy and don’t call for delivery. Other than that, this place is good.

This place is quick but their pizza is only ok, you’re better off ordering sub sandwiches from here, their chicken cutlet subs are great along with their steak subs. The bread they use isn’t toasted so it doesn’t scratch your mouth when you eat them.

Here in Malden, there seems to be pizza shops on every corner. Seriously… they’re everywhere. It took me a while, after moving here, to find one worth being loyal to, and My Pizza has it.
What sets them apart from everywhere else are their specialty pizzas. They make a delicious «Alfredo Pizza» (made with white sauce, chicken, and broccoli) and an awesome «Bianco Pizza» (made with fresh mozzarella, sliced tomatos, and chicken). They make a really good buffalo chicken pizza as well.
If you’re in the Malden area and looking for decent delivery/​take-​out. Look no more-​My Pizza is the way.

Their Chicken Subs are the Best. Huge Menu, Great Prices. A solid Sub Place very good.

I thought it was going to be a sad day when Malden lost its «house of pizza.» My Pizza took over ownership and changed the name, menu, interior, and just about everything else. A lot of renovations happened before this place opened. I figured I would never try it because I like to go to the same sub shops because I know what I am going to get, but eventually I caved in.
I have been there a number of times now and the lady that works the register has some moments of being nice and some moments of being not so welcoming. I wish you the best of luck in whatever mood you receive. The place is pretty nice inside with plenty of seating. The outside looks somewhat modern, but I see it as a little tacky. Some serious bling bling.
I like the subs here though. They are affordable and yummy. My personal favorite is the Chicken Bacon BBQ. This combination just works really well together. The bread is also usually fresh and the larges are plenty of food for even a 6 foot man. I also like the Chicken BLT. Apparently I just really like bacon and chicken. They have a few options on the menu that aren’t really common at other sub shops such as the chicken cordon bleu sub and the Hawaiian chicken. These are making me hungry just thinking about them. If you are ever in the area and are looking for a sub, give My Pizza a try, even if the sign outside looks like it should be hanging from 50 Cents neck. Holla
