I’ve been waiting for 20 minutes for the pizza already. Hopefully it’s worth the wait.

Delicious pizza that the terribly rude service makes taste like paste.

I have lived in Malibu 8 years. The delivery service from this place has continued to be miserable. DONOT order delivery from here unless you want to get cold food, agitated, and generally frustrated. It has been 1 hour and 35 minutes since I placed an order for delivery. I am 2 miles away. Still no food. Just hung up phone on hold 11 minutes. Serious operational issues going on here. This place wouldn’t survive in the real world outside of Malibu where there is ZERO competition. Normally would pick up on my own due to this delivery fiasco happening more than once, but I can’t drive due to recent surgery. Do not order delivery from D’Amore’s especially with C+/B– food. Wish it was better and I was posting a glowing review.

I love this place! I called them this morning and the gentleman who answered was so helpful! He agreed to make a heart shaped pizza and delivered it to my BF while he was at work. HELOVEDIT! And said it was so delicious! Thank you so much! They even cut the pepperoni to spell out«I love u» so cute and thoughtful.

This is one of my favorite D’Amores location! Right on PCH, this is a perfect stop for a great lunch while in Malibu! They actually have a small lot with free parking, hard to find in the area. Compared to pretty much all other dining options here, this is a meal that won’t break the bank and we had plenty of leftovers for later! We went with a meat lovers in thick crust as well as Christina’s special with pesto on the original thin crust along with a meatless Italian salad. Obsessed with both the salad and pesto pizza, the dough and quality of ingredients here is beyond amazing! Prices are fair, the salad for $ 10 was huge and filling, the pizzas just under $ 30 each, one enough to feed a family of four, we really over ordered! Service was great, very sweet. Everything is made to order(except the single to go slices) and can take 20 minutes for a thin crust and 30+ for the thick, but is well worth the wait or you can call your order in to have it ready. A few tables to dine in at and watch them cook or gaze at the 100s of family photos gracing the walls. Lovely lunch here, I’ll be back!

Wow! I have ordered from this place multiple times before but the service I got from Sawyer was unparalleled to any prior experience. If you’re going to order delivery ask for Sawyer! The pizza it will always be phenomenal but the service, with Sawyer, will be unbelievable

Ordered delivery from here and it was great! Although I live in Malibu, it was very fast, arrived fresh, and tasted great! I think this is one of those places that you probably should order the whole pizza and/or have one delivered, instead of ordering slice by slice. I think(like most pizza places) you should avoid daily slices in a tourist section, and do more of the full pizza order to go.

I didn’t even walk in the door, I saw 18 $ for a medium no topping pizza on the menu and immediately decided that was way more than I was willing to drop on a cheese pizza. Cmon people, medium cheese pizza no toppings go for like 8 – 10 $ at other places… No way it can be worth the price.

I’ve been coming here for years and the pizza is good but the price you pay for an average pizza is not worth it. My review is based on overall value. If the price was better I would give it a 4star but since it’s overpriced I have to knock off a star. If you like pizza and don’t care about the price than I’m sure you’ll enjoy it. I used to get pizza here more often but have since found other places that are equally good and cheaper.

I love, love, love D’Amores Pizza! Spent the day on the water, was craving pizza went to D’Amores and this made my day complete. My friend from Kansas was in town and it was well worth the experience! I was only going to get one slice, but the pizza was so very tasty I ordered another. The staff and the owner, Joe are the best! I recommend D’Amores if you’re a local, or better yet make it your destination for Italian cuisine and super service. I give it 10+ Stars! Thank you Joe and staff!

Great pizza — really some of the best in Malibu. However the pizza is very expensive so I usually only go there when I have a craving for their pizza. Otherwise I will travel elsewhere.

The woman behind the cash register was super friendly. The pizza is bad. And it’s overpriced. I ordered a slice of BBQ chicken pizza and when it came out there was zero chicken on it. I felt weird going up to ask if they made the wrong pizza for me. They apologized and made a new slice, no question. But it still wasn’t good. We also got a «medium» pepperoni and pineapple pizza that cost $ 20+ and it was the size of a small frozen pizza that you can buy 10 for $ 10 at the grocery store.

My favorite pizza spot in LA! I’ve been coming here for years, it used to be a hike for me to come in but is always make it! Now I’m a local and my son loves it. Thin crust pizza made to perfection Whitmore can you ask for? I love the grilled veggie, pepperoni, and of course the cheese and pepperoni! They just added Sicilian thick crust style to the menu as well so they hit all the bases and the sandwiches are bomb as well! It right across from the beach it’s a great bite on the way to or from! They also deliver if your a local major plus for pizza parties for kids or even adults.

Pizza was great! We ordered a bianco and roasted veggie slice(s). Pizza was hot, great flavor, veggies all natural. Staff were pleasant. Price was fair. Pulled up, parked, ordered and got food within ten minutes on a Sunday afternoon in Malibu. I’m very impressed. Also ordered garlic knots. Not enough garlic for me personally but that’s my issue. They were really good! Can’t wait to get back.

Worst Pizza I’ve ever had, you’re taking to a college student that has tasted anything and everything. It doesn’t bode well when Little Caesar’s is in my repertoire. I thought there was no way in hell you could ever go wrong with pizza, one of America’s favorite food then I came here and I found out how wrong I was. First off, it is expensive as hell. Even Malibu expensive doesn’t justify the cost, you can’t charge 4.25 for a crappy slice. Ok, I thought bad pizza perhaps their salads might be organic or bomb, nope. Terrible watery lettuce with bland ingredients. I’m disappointed because of all the hype and pics on the wall, I thought all these people can’t be wrong. There is nothing Italian in this pizza but the thin crust, and it was bad how can you make bad bread? The toppings were bland as well, it is as if Subway was making pizza, just couldn’t believe that something so bad could be that expensive.

I love that they have vegan cheese but half the time I try to order they’re out. Which has resulted in using it very sparingly so when they do have it, it’s not worth over paying for pizza with a sprinkle of cheese. This is not acceptable.

I love… d this place! Great sauce, quality toppings. …BURNTCRUST??? WTF?! Who ever was working in kitchen on March 24, 2015 @ 19:45 needs to be put back on dishwasher duty. Keep him away from the ovens. Don’t mess up what Mamma D’Amore and Joe perfected ***** Hostess /Cashier Full Marks friendly, efficient, helpful. .and even cute. ***** Cleanliness ***** Ingredients * Pizza maker(I can’t call him a chef… or even a cook. If you read the rest of my reviews I RARELY write bad ones, because why bother?! I’d rather write about the good ones. But when a good place turns bad, then something needs to said. Fix it!

D’Colis Run from this mess of a restaurant! Crap pizza, lousy delivery. Last pizza delivered was upside down and… Guess what? It tasted better than the other pizza that was right side up.

The pizza is pretty good, the delivery staff is consistently good(friendly) and we order from here a lot because it’s one of a few places that delivers to the Malibu Hills. That said, I’d love to find an alternative because after paying for a slightly overpriced pizza, add the $ 10 delivery charge and tip the driver(which we always do since we aren’t clear on whether or not the delivery fee goes to the driver or not)’ it’s a $ 60 delivery(which is why the 3 stars). On top of that, they always screw up the salad order(I’m allergic to onions and they are inevitably almost right on top). That said, Damore’s uses fresh ingredients and everything we’ve ordered is pretty tasty.(Pizza, Wings, Gluten Free pizza, Salads, Meatballs etc.) so I do recommend them for their food.

I only came here because it’s next door to PC Greens in Malibu. I had to make a special trip to PC Greens, a health food store to get my Indiblue miracle blueberry drink. I was hungry and seen that they have Gluten Free pizza and so I asked how does this work. The woman, whom I feel is just there to get paid, pointed to the menu and said you can put these toppings or pointed to the top and said or choose one of these. So I just chose one at the top, already created pizzas, and it came out to $ 20 wowsers. Whaaaaaaaat. Whatever. It better be good! It was okay but $ 20 for pizza, when I can go to Pieology and get all the different toppings for the same price. Pizza didn’t taste much different at all. But this is Malibu, I get it. I should have just gone with a lunch special but even that would cost me $ 9 – 11. You get one or two slices, a salad, and a drink. Or you can choose ravioli, lasagna, baked ziti, or spaghetti if you don’t want pizza. It is not cozy here but I didn’t know about the rooftop until later. I was wondering why there were photos of a rooftop. I thought someone was just taking a photo of their pizza somewhere else. I realize later, you can go to the second floor which is the rooftop at the parking structure and they have a couple of tables there to enjoy the ocean view. I rated an extra star for that or else I would have rated this place 2 stars for over priced pizza and non-friendly worker. Maybe she should take a break up on the roof top to brighten up her life a little. But working in a lonely pizza joint, I can understand the minimal excitement. I wouldn’t be that thrilled either coming to work. That’s why I would rather work somewhere that sells cupcakes. Yayee! But than I’d get fat from eating too much cupcakes and a major sugar high and upset tummie so forget that. Seems like a lot of celebrities have stopped here to eat looking at all the photos on the wall. Photos look pretty old though. Tom Cruise and Charlie Sheen looks way too young and hot in the picture frame up on the wall. Parking — Tons. If you prefer McDonald’s, just continue driving pass here and you’ll see it. Only come here if you’re seriously craving pizza.
