I loved the place, the food, the vibe… its a good place to go on a date or a romantic lunch or dinner. I went during lunch hours and enjoyed the drink and the food. Its hard to describe in words but the food was amazing I had herb crusted salmon and loved it. The salmon melts in mouth and Tastes really good. I highly recommend this place.

Okay, I will start by rating this place 5 stars for location, been a few times. I am new to Unilocal and often don’t get time to do stuff like this but as a business owner, I want to let other owners what is going on. Came for brunch, 1pm Sat June 18. Valet– 3 out of 5, they did not open the passenger door for my guest, rude especially if a women. Staff– 2 out of 5, got bumped twice in my leg by bus boy and he did not say excuse me, he also forgot butter with bread. I know that might seem petty, but this is a high class place no? Our waiter was fine however, there is nothing more annoying when other waiters who congregate and gaggle among themselves on what went down after work the night before. Food– 2.5 out 5, ordered salmon was was cooked well however, it was put on a bed of mashed potatoes. Salmon eaters are usually health conscience and don’t go for heavy carbs, the dish was littered with candied walnuts, no kidding, yuk. On top of that this dish came swimming in a rich sauce. The beet salad starter was not a good. My dish was salmon benedict and it was fine, however, the roast potatoes were pre-maid, soggy and somewhat cold. If you go, go for drinks and order a regular salad, the view. Really, the chef needs to re-think the entire menu. based on the people that were there, hip, chic and local, I would recommend a farm to table menu. That would go down a hit.

Went here late on a Saturday. The ambiance alone was worth the visit. It was dark outside(9:30pm) so we could not see the ocean but could feel the cool breeze and the scent of the water. There were fire pits and torches set against the dark sky on the awnings are covered with plants. Beautiful outside patio to dine. The staff quickly brought 2 heaters to make our table feel warm and cozy on a chilly night. The food was good and drinks were excellent. The service was exceptional. Ill definitely recommend.

This place is right in the beach with the most beautiful views!!! It’s a great place to come for brunch, lunch, and dinner. With friends, family, or a significant other. In fact, I think it is a great date spot! The food is really good and most dishes are even big enough to split. They have a cheese dish appetizer that’s so yummy, the Brie is out of this world delicious. Lovely place, I would go back for sure.

Beautiful location & place. Outdoors seating overlooks the ocean, so peaceful. Had the filet mignon for lunch, with side of eggs and potatoes $ 29. The steak was cooked perfectly but the dish lacks some maybe peppercorn sauce or something to liven it up. Strawberry lemonade(with vodka) cocktail $ 12, alittle sweet, light on alcohol but refreshing for a day drink. They allow WELL behaved dogs patio area but only on the floor, so not on your lap or chair. The service is great. Valet parking, think it was $ 8, unless you park on PCH but I wouldn’t park across the street because cars are going way too fast & will run you over before you even make it to the restaurant. Classy, upscale setting. The food & drinks are nothing extraordinary but the atmosphere & views are.

One of my new favorite restaurants :) My friend and I made reservations for 1:30pm for Sunday brunch. From the moment I stepped in, I immediately fell in love with the amazing views of the ocean. A huge plus was that they accommodated our request to sit right by the railings. And luckily, despite the previous«June gloom» here, the weather turned out to be perfect with clear blue skies. They do have part of the deck covered in case it wasn’t as nice, but the majority of the restaurant is outdoors. Service was spot on the entire time. We started off with some fruity cocktails, and it literally feels like you’re on vacation in the middle of paradise. With amazing views usually comes mediocre overpriced food. But not this place! We ordered: Baked Brie in Puff Pastry: Not a typical dish I would get, but it turned out exceeding my expectations. The melted brie oozes out of the flakey buttery pastry and complements the pear chutney very well. Sea Scallops with Foie Gras Risotto: 3 huge scallops perfectly cooked. And when is foie gras a bad idea? It was a bit heavy towards the end but worth stuffing myself since it was that delicious. Seafood Paella: Generous portion. Never had paella in a broth before but it added tons of flavor. Total bill came out to be ~$ 160 with tax and tip added in. Not tooo bad! After our meal, our waiter told us we can use their stairway to go down to a private beach area. Great way to walk off everything we just ate lol. And highly recommend for dates, anniversaries, etc. Valet is $ 7, but there’s plenty of free street parking. I definitely will be back!

When we decided to have a brunch here, even we knew it’s busy place, let s just walk in. Of cause, we didn’t make it, it’s all booked. So we make a reservation for dinner. Looked the view, that s my favorite place to go. That ll be so nice, hand out with friends, drinking talking laughing on the weekend.

Restaurant Layout: 5+/5 Food: 3.5÷5 Service 4⁄5 This place is absolutely gorgeous! My girlfriend took me here for my birthday. We arrived a little later than expected and were unable to see the sunset but there was still a little bit of daylight outside. You can hear the ocean and enjoy the stars at night. And the restaurant itself is beautiful due to the many vines and lights decorating the walls. As for the food, we thought the food was pretty good but could’ve been much better at the price. We ordered for appetizer the crab cake, the pork belly and the mushroom soup! As for the entres, I got the swordfish while she ordered the Moroccan shrimp. And for the dessert we ordered crème brûlée. The crab cake is a must. Delicious and they don’t skimp on the crab at all! As for the rest, the Moroccan shrimp was pretty good but I do not recommend the sword fish.(Couldn’t get pictures of them because the sun had set already). Anyhow, my 2 cents. This place is amazing for a one time date spot and possibly a few more times in the future. But I would only really go back for the scenery and views.

Come for dinner to watch the sunset, it’s beautiful and romantic. Definitely a semi casual, button up shirt/nice dress attire… Like«Sundays best» type of attire out fancier. Parking: valet parking available and included in the check of you park there. Street parking on PCH available, too. Ambiance: semi– casual. Upscale. Romantic. Fine dining. Their rosemary bread rolls are tasty to snack on while waiting for either an appetizer or your main course. Filet mignon with mashed potatoes and asparagus is delicious! Fresh grated pepper to top it off. Herb crusted salmon with lentils… So tasty. Mouth watering salmon steak(pretty decent size, too-i couldn’t finish it all) seasoned with herbs atop a bed of lentils. Moet specialty drink: berry-infused champagne — a sweet and fruity celebratory drink! Service is pretty good, they didn’t let empty plates sit on the table for too long. And they kept coming back to check on us. Overall, I would say that the real attraction to this place is the view of the ocean. If you love the serene cliffside view of the ocean, this is the place to be. Be prepared to pay for the view, though! Service: the easier was very sweet and helpful. Definitely knew to recommend things on the menu.

The view and ambiance is nice and true to Malibu. Fire pits and lights make the scenic balcony. Food was decent. Mains and Dessert very good, appetizers fair. Appetizers we had the fried oysters and the artichoke salad. They were just okay. For dinner we had we had the sea bass and scallops. Both fish entrees were cooked just right and fresh. For dessert we had the bread pudding with ice cream which was very good.

Had my birthday brunch here with a friend the Sunday before last(8 days ago). Sorry for the delayed review:) I never come here for the food or exceptional service but rather for the beautiful ocean view. I don’t know what it is about the hostesses at all the oceanfront restaurants that they feel they have to give attitude and be snooty… My friend that was meeting me got stuck in traffic due to an accident on PCH and they refused to seat me while I waited. It’s unfortunate because a nice friendly service is what takes a restaurant from good to great. Had they sat me I probably would’ve ordered and appetizer while I waited… So they could’ve made more $ but when my friend came we went straight to our brunch entrees. They offered to have me go sit at the bar but since I don’t drink I chose to sit right in front of them for half an hour and got to hear all the smack they talked about their customers. Surprisingly, this time the food I ordered was actually delicious. I guess it’s improvement!

Wonderful lunch full of celebrity and whale watching. Both plentiful, and yet the atmosphere was very relaxing and chill. Our server, Peter, was the best and attended to our every need. Food was very good– and we tried the oysters(perfection), watermelon salad(refreshing) and scallops(wow!). Lovely place with great views and delicious food. Paired with great service — definitely a hit. Loved!

Came here for lunch after our safari wine tour at 12:45pm and it was almost packed. Ordered: x Crabcakes — Not the worst, but not the best crab cakes. Very little breading, but something was just off about them. not enough crabby flavors. x Lobster Salad — Refreshing, light, and with loads of lobster. x Chilean Sea Bass — UGHHH… NO! The seabass was SOO overcooked I didn’t think it was fish-ly possible for seabass to be so tough! I almost turned it away, but I never do things like that so we were forced to eat it. But seriously, for such a nice restaurant you would think everything would come out grade A. Super disappointed, SKIP! The food was mediocre at best. Come for the view. Service was also pretty slow.

I’ve been searching high and low throughout for a solid brunch spot and I think I’ve found it. Parking: They do have valet, it’s a extremely tiny parking lot so let the valet figure that out, or Über if you’re planning to have a few cocktails. Reservations: You must make a reservation. I would also recommend sitting as close to the rail on the patio as possible for the better views. Service: They service is quite attentive, friendly, and approachable. Food: It does skew to more of the«traditional» style of brunch, but I will never turn up my noise at crab cake benedict. I would also recommend the Bree cheese appetizer. The reason why this restaurant doesn’t get 5 stars is because it feels like something I’ve had before. The reason why it does get four stars is for the view. What the food lacks in, the view definitely makes up for it.

Valet was a bit pissy but I understood it was to get the cars parked quickly because it got busy right after we pulled in. It’s a beautiful spot with beautiful view(even with the fog), hot looking cars, and friendly people. I loved my drink special with simple lime, cucumber & vodka. The lumpy crab cakes were very flavorful, without all the sauce around it. I had the scallops and risotto with foie gras cooked perfectly. Dessert at first looked decadent but turned out excellent — espresso flan.

Amazing view, delicious food, and exceptional service. I can’t find one negative thing to say about this place. I told my waiter that I was allergic to wine so I asked if there is anything they can do about it. I really wanted to try the chicken piccata($ 22), so he said that he would ask the chef about it. He got back to me offering to just taking out the sauce and putting the lemon and capers on the side for me to add myself, and he also offered to take the sauce that they use for their dinner menu, which was a sage country gravy, and put that on the side as well. I went with that. I also ordered the Jumbo Coconut Shrimp which came with a tomato chutney and and Asian plum sauce. The waiter warned me that there was wine in the plum sauce, but the tomato chutney was safe. I didn’t mind, because the chutney was amazing. I could eat it on its own. Each piece of shrimp was pretty big that I got on a good level before getting my entrée. I also tried their prawn and scallop ceviche, and it’s nothing like anything else I’ve ever had. It’s different, but in a good way. It comes in this little cup with a side of super tiny taco shells, which was super cute. They use a mango habanero chili sauce which gives that sort of sweetness to it. When everyone else was getting their dishes, the waiter informed me that they accidentally put the wine sauce on top of my chicken, and would have to remake it. Despite being hungry, I wasn’t even mad because of how well he was looking out for me and my allergies. When I finally got it, each bite was amazing. I was able to switch flavors between the lemon and capers, and the sage country gravy. Both were flavors that I’ve never really tried before like this, and it was a pleasant experience for me. I was kind of thankful for having the gravy though because they didn’t really put anything on top of the mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables, so I poured some of that gravy on top of them too. The chicken was so moist and it filled me up so much. I was super full by the time I finished the entire plate. The service here was exceptional and I would definitely want to come back here if I’m ever in the area again. Definitely give this place a try!

We made a reservation the night before and came here for lunch on a Friday! We sat in the outdoor patio area and the view is so pretty and romantic! We ordered the crab cakes and wild mushroom soup for appetizers. Both are really delicious, especially the sauce for the crab cakes. For entrees, we got a seafood paella and the scallops on top of fore gras risottos. The seafood paella has a lot of soup/sauce and the rice really soaks in all the flavor and tastes amazing! The scallops dish is my favorite out of everything we ordered! The scallops are really fresh and juicy, the risotto is perfectly cooked and the balsamic sauce makes everything taste even better. Will definitely come back again for dinner or brunch. Come early if you want a nice spot and make reservations !

The out door patio is beautiful! Lovely location on the beach! The Cocotini is delicious! The baked brie is amazing but small if you have a large group order 2! Love the tuna tartar We shared the lobster quiche and crab benidict The crème Brule is good with chocolate mouse at the bottom. The apple tart alamode is really good too. Daniel was our server and he was great! Friendly and attentive service! The quality of food and service is outstanding!
