Very satisfied with the clothing side. Polite and helpful. The woman running the furniture store was one of the rudest people I have encountered. She was not helpful and really nasty. It was a teaching moment for my 11 year old to understand that not all people are nice. Will never got back.

I went to the furniture side (At Home) after seeing a chair they brought out for the Malvern Fall Festival last Sunday. I’ve been searching so many websites (craigslist, Facebook groups, mealys, etc for many months to find the perfect combination of inexpensive, my style, and comfortable. I hunted down this shop bc I had no idea there was a furniture consignment shop. The last time I had been in there, there was very limited selection and mostly baby stuff at that time.
The woman tending the store greeted me after I expressed «I found it!» «Glad you came in. Lots of people have been asking ab it.» I borrowed a tape measure from the shop and took pics. I then browsed the rest of the store since it was pretty deep and y’never know. The woman was doing her own thing and didn’t care either way. There wasn’t any organization of the inventory– a lot of tables and dressers and chandeliers. I took a card and headed home to talk it over with my husband. Once he ok’ed it, I called them back and gave them my credit card and information over the phone to process it. She offered a moving/​delivery service but declined bc I was planning to pick it up the next day.
She had marked it sold and gave me my receipt the next day and away we went.
I’ll be back to look to see what else they bring in now that I know how local it is.
