Not the friendliest service I’ve ever had. No indoor seating. The outdoor seating is right on the corner of a busy intersection so I never feel safe eating there. This could be a great Carvel if they hired friendlier people, added some indoor seating and put up some barriers to protect the patrons from the traffic.

Best vanilla soft serve on the planet. New Yorker’s take it for granted, but when you leave the area, soft serve just ain’t the same.
The one problem with Carvel is since the ice cream is so rich, getting things like sundaes and toppings can make things very sweet.
The freshly made flying saucers are amazing as well. Best ice cream sandwiches to grace the earth.

This is one of the original Carvel locations and I have been coming here since I was a child (I won’t tell you how long that is!). But the guy who own this location took this place and turned it around and it is always busy. It has really delicious always fresh made ice cream hard packed, soft served, cases always stocked. Makes great sundaes and shakes and you can Evan sit outside!

I feel like a crochety old grandma (even though I’m 28!) saying this but when did ice cream get so $$$? I understand why the sundaes and fancier things would be $ 5-$ 6, but $ 5 for a medium soft serve ice cream cone?
It was huge and I couldn’t even finish it so I should have gotten a small but that still would have been like $ 4.
I’ll stick to my grocery store ice cream, thanks. (what’s on sale that week of course!)

the ice cream is great but the service stinks. I really was amazed at their portion serving. They fill the cup straight up, no swirl, so basically you get a ½ service. I got the junior size and when I packed the ice cream down it didn’t even come to the rim of the cup for $ 3.25 (no toppings).
