Nails By Lauren

What a great resource in Mammoth. I looked for a manicurist on Christmas Eve knowing it was a long shot. The Salon’s person wasn’t working on the holiday so tried Lauren who provides an in home service. She graciously could take me in an hour. Went to her home and sat overlooking gorgeous woods. She uses all natural ingredients including a killer scrub that was perfect for Mammoth’s ultra dry climate. Love supporting women-​owned businesses and suggest you try Lauren

Lauren is amazing! I had a pedicure by her today. She saved me from the worst hangnail I (and she) had ever seen. She is highly knowledgeable, made what could have been incredibly painful almost painless! Plus, her scrubs were great, as were the foot & calf massage. To top it off, the final result was very pretty, festively painted toes (& comfort). I will definitely continue having Lauren do my nails! (Also, of you go to her ‘home salon’, the setting is beautiful!). I’ve had many pedicures, but this was the best!

~Thoughts before appointment~
Booking my appointment with Lauren was great. I spoke to a few other manicurists in the area, and she was by far the sweetest and most accommodating! She stayed on the phone with me to make sure that I booked an appointment that gave me enough time to do everything else I needed to do the day before my best friend’s wedding. I didn’t feel rushed off the phone like I did with another lady in the area (not naming names). She asked what color dress I am wearing, and what I had in mind for color options. It was nice to have her care about those kinds of things, instead of her treating me like I was a nuisance for giving her my business.
I don’t get manicures often, but I am very excited for this one!
~Update: after mani/​pedi~
I think overall, this experience was OK. Lauren herself was great, but I was just content with the experience I had. The manicure and pedicure were average, nothing great. She came to my condo for a very reasonable travel rate, which was very convenient for me. I’m docking a star for a couple reasons. I had to clean up quite a bit after she left. There was water and clippings left on the floor that I had to clean up.
She was also talking on the phone a lot when she was there. I don’t mind business calls, but she was just chatting with someone, and it felt pretty unprofessional.
2.5 but I’ll bump it up to 3 because she was really sweet.

Lauren was able to squeeze 3 of us in this afternoon for one of the best pedicures I’ve ever had! She not only has a great selection of nail polish colors but uses the most amazing homemade sugar scrub! In fact I loved the scrub so much that I asked if i could order some for gifts! I also want to point out that because I am a mother of 3 small boys it was extremely helpful that Lauren was able to come to me!!! She is mommy friendly and family friendly!!! I plan on booking a pedicure with Lauren each trip up to Mammoth from now on!!!

Great poolside pedicures with Lauren today. Weather was great and we asked Lauren to do her first poolside pedi at our condo and it was a real treat. Lauren is very professional and pays attention to detail in both men’s and women’s feet. Loved her scrubs and reflexology. I am a Crossfitter and my feet are always thrashed and now they look the best they have in months. My husband loved his poolside pedi with a beer in hand. We both highly recommend going to Lauren’s place or having her come to your place.

Lauren is amazing! She has homemade scrubs which are AMAZING! She is very thorough and makes sure you leave having great nails.
I do recommend her!

Stopped to see Lauren because I couldn’t get into the spa and I’m glad I did! She did a good job and at a much better rate! I’d suggest Lauren.

We go to Mammoth all the time for long weekends and I just had my first pedicure from Lauren. She came to our hotel room and it was awesome! She makes her own scrub and my nails look amazing! I will definetly be calling Lauren again!

This gal is awesome! I just moved to Mammoth and found her on Unilocal.The first time, I was surprised when I got a SUPER thorough manicure and pedicure for way cheaper than I would have expected… including scrubs & massage! She uses these really cool homemade scrubs with great scents like lavender. Definitely, definitely recommended.
