Pedego Mammoth Lakes

We highly recommend Pedego Mammoth Lakes! This was our second time to rent electric bikes from Ashley and love the experience. They took great care of us and made sure we understood how to operate the bikes and even gave us a break on our return when we ended up running a little over time. It’s a great way to cruise the lakes with minimal effort. 5 stars!

This is the best way to explore the paved bike trails around Mammoth! We rented two Interceptors (pedal-​assisted electric bike) with a kiddie trailer and zoomed up and around the mountain to Twin Lakes. I’m normally super awkward on a bike, but I had so much fun pedaling around the beautiful scenery – and there was NO WAY I would have survived the path uphill along Lake Mary Rd without the pedal assistance. (I’d probably still be there right now, huffing and puffing and crying.)
So yeah, if you’re not into mountain biking or strenuous exercise but still want to see the area along the paved trails (while looking super cute on a cute bike), RENT AN ELECTRIC BIKE HERE!
I can’t wait to come back and ride one again!

Three couples of ancient vintage (70+) three of the group with little biking experience had an absolute ball. We rented the bikes for two hours, which was very adequate to do the lakes circuit and more.
Ashley, the proprietor was extremely knowledge, helpful and patient getting us familiar with the bikes and their operation. Great fun passing all of the youngsters on the way to Horseshoe Lake. A definite highlight of our vacation. Don’t miss it

These bikes are SO much fun! We rented for 3 hours to take along the trail that goes along side the lakes up to Lake Mary. Three hours was plenty of time (the owner told us we could do it in two, but we knew we’d want to stop a couple times), and it really was the highlight of our weekend. Ashley (who I believe is the owner), was extremely helpful when I first called to see if we could come in and rent the bikes about an hour after I called, and she said she had em ready for us. She really went above and beyond by giving us her cell phone number in case we had any troubles and no one answered the store phone. We didn’t have any trouble and enjoyed getting up the mountain in no time.
This really is a perfect activity if you don’t have all day to spend on a standard bicycle, but still want to see all of Mammoth Lakes. It was also perfect for us lazy people who didn’t want to be wiped out from peddling uphill for hours and still had a long day planned ahead of us.
I would definitely recommend Pedego to everyone!
