We went to this place after leaving the delicious café or something like that. This place was the next one to have multiple stars that why we walked here. Well this is a whole in the wall tiny Mexican restaurant. But at least we were all able to sit and have a nice lunch. I had the California burrito. Not a fan of that at all. I guess I never had one so didn’t know that they filled it with French fries. I’m not too sure about anything else or the stars that this place has because I’ve had better Mexican food. This place to us was just a place to sit and get something to eat after our long drive. I have noticed that all the stars that have been given in mammoth for the restaurants are not what it really is. Ooh well just my opinion. We definitely will not give this 5 stars. And 3 stars because we had a place to eat. That’s it the food wasn’t too good.

I’m from SoCal so my expectations for Mexican food are high. This place is a small — family owned restaurant and it was actually pretty good. I ordered a burrito and it was pretty decent. The people are nice and they have a lot of options on the menu.

Had the cod fish burrito! Loved it. The fish was tender and freshly crisped. It had great texture and super tasty. Will definitely be back. Very friendly staff and very helpful in helping pick out what to eat.

Finding a good and reasonably priced place to eat here in Mammoth was no easy task, but Salsa’s was cheap(relatively) and delicious. I came in very very very skeptical, expecting average Mexican food at the best. The food was authentic and they actually had one of the best tacos de lengua I’ve ever tasted(and that’s coming from a SoCal’er).

We decided to eat here since they have a patio and we had our dog. This feels like a true Mexican street restaurant! The service was outstanding and the food was delicious! I got the two al pastor tacos and they were very good! They aren’t as good as TJ but then again what is? The wife originally ordered taquitos, but they were out of them so she was given a taco for free! Her taco and quesadilla was excellent. The kids got nachos and a bean rice and cheese burrito! My son didn’t like the small onions in his burrito like he’s some diva Mexican food magazine writer or something! Overall, this place is a little expensive, but way better service and comparable food to Robertos. The food came out very fast for a Saturday evening! Come here and get the better service!

Cheap, wholesome and delicious Mexican street fare. $ 2.15 for a taco and if you order two you’ll get a helping of grilled onions as well. Don’t miss this place! Pollo and Carnitas are both two thumbs up.

Quick service and huge portions! My friends really liked their fish burritos(all burritos come with guac!), nachos, and quesadillas. I got the taco salad — they’ll let you customize it, so you can replace the rice with lettuce. Pastor was alright, but the beans kinda took over the dish. It’s pretty small inside, so I wouldn’t come with a huge group. If I come again, I’ll definitely get a burrito — looked the yummiest!
