First time I ever tried trout and it was delicious. Regardless of the price, I absolutely recommend this spot. They could do better with the chippy sides though.

We came to hike and camp the JMT which was fantastic, but the other highlight was having smoked fish taco’s from Sierra Smoke Shack. They are crazy good; the three of us agreed best taco we have ever had. Anyone that is planning a trip to Mammoth, stop into the lot next to Kittredge Sports at 3218 Main St and get taco’s.

we were at kittriges getting tackle and stuff, saw this truck in lot. my wife cant eat fried stuff right now… I looked at the small menu and saw that the fish was smoked !!! she was in !!
we both got fish taco’s and loved em !!! she went back again… loved it !!! the guy was very nice and made everything fresh. YUM !!!

First smoked salmon taco I’ve ever had and can’t believe how good they were. All 4 of us that ate there today were very impressed by the taste and quality of the food!
