I have been a client of Gary Michael for 10 years. I purchased my wife’s engagement ring and both of our wedding bands, to high end designer watches and many other gifts. I have always taken the time To shop around and compare prices and have always received very competitive pricing here.
The purchase of my wife’s engagement ring could not have been a more pleasant experience, as complicated and challenging as a purchase like this is. Michael the owner spent weeks working with me, getting different stones and settings for me to choose from.
I am quite shocked by some of the negative reviews here as I had never had a poor experience or customer service here. In my many years of experience and purchases here it’s has always been top notch!

I recently purchased an engagement ring from Gary Michaels and couldn’t be happier. With so many different types of settings and stones to chose from, Michael was extremely knowledgable and helpful in getting me the exact ring I was looking for. I also really appreciated the fact that I never felt any pressure to buy anything. A big thank you to Michael for taking the time with me to make sure everything was perfect and to meet and exceed my expectations. We will definitely be back in the near future to purchase our wedding bands.

I have purchased many, many pieces of jewelry from Gary Michaels over the past 15 years. Always a great experience and they stand by their merchandise. Their selection of Michele watches, David Yurman, Roberto Coin is outstanding.
I have also used them for cleaning and repairs.

Rude, rude, rude!!! My daughter and I walked in yesterday to pick up my bracelet that was getting fix. Nobody acknowledged us or said hi. A tall older man took my receipt and gave me my bracelet with out saying anything to me at all. I walked out without a thank you or a good bye… I will never go back and give them my business again!!!

I have never felt so compelled to write a bad review about an establishment as I do now. I went in to look for a wedding band, and mind you I also wanted to buy diamond necklaces for each of my 12 bridesmaids (which I did not mention, maybe I would have been treated better if I did.) The man who helped me was nothing short of rude and condescending. I wanted an insert/​enhancer for my ring, and he proceeded to tell me they are out of style, he hadn’t sold one in over 40 years and wherever I saw them must have had them left over from the 70s. If this was his idea of convincing me to change my mind and spend a dime in his store, he is mistaken.
This is the most unhappy experience I have ever had in any store ever… don’t waste your time.

Dont buy or fix your jewerly here at alllllll costs. Scam artists /​theives.
I was younger, trusting, and naïve. They literally stole from me bc i was young and clearly didnt know the ‘tricks” of «their» trade.
Shame on you.
I brought a 18k gold chain in for repair. The chain was shortened in length and the heavy duty-​thick-​unique clasp was literally stolen along with the little stamped 18k plate-​link.
No other way to put it except THEFT. What a shame these people are allowed to walk among us

I have never been a fan of big jewelry stores. Of course I appreciate the larger selection you can find there, I just always feel intimidated by the prices of everything. Everyone is formally dressed and the cases are filled with $ 7000 Breitlings. I always feel like they are saying to themselves, what is this guy doing in here?
That said, wife needed to pick up a gift for a friend and wanted an Alex & Ani bracelet. They carry them here and as for pricing, it will be the same across the board no matter where you go. The selection here is pretty big as far as these things go. Salesman was helpful and helped advise her on which one she should choose.
Maybe this wasn’t a true jewelry buying experience, but we had no issues while making our purchase here. Will try them again should the need arise.

This «upscale jewelry» store is far from upscale, I felt as though I was trying to be convinced to like what they wanted to sell. Nobody was friendly. Very poor customer service.

I actually went in here regarding my fiancé’s wedding band. The sales lady was less than thrilling or friendly and for the prices and «upscale jewelry» store allure they have… my money is good anywhere… you certainly won’t get my business

Gary Michaels is the best place to go for jewelry. Me and mom my bought matching David Yurman bracelets from there and we love it. Would recommend this store to everyone!!! 5 Stars

My fiancé bought my ring from here and I couldn’t be happier with the quality of the ring or the service we received. The ring is absolutely beautiful, and they resized it to perfection at no charge while I waited. The store is about a 90 minute drive from NYC, where we live, but it’s well worth the trip. Thank you to Ken and the whole team from a very happy customer!
