I recently set up a catering order for a corporate team building event. Chelsea at the Paner’a Bread in Manalapan was so awesome to work with. Not only did they give special care to each order they called the day before to confirm nothing else was needed. Chelsea called the day after to confirm that we were satisfied with our experience. And i also received a call from Amy at the headquarters to confirm that everything was to our liking. I was expremely pleased the with experience and amount of care the staff gave for our event. Thank you!

Only giving this location 1 star because I could not possibly give it less. I love Panera and use it as a way to treat myself as it is usually more than I can afford on the job that I currently am working. Today I spent almost $ 10 on a sandwich which is hard for me to justify on my budget however I’ve always been blown away by Paneras quality where I am from in maryland. Unfortunately today I was extremely underwhelmed with the quality of this location. I ordered a panini which I assumed it was intended to be hot however when I received the sandwich it was not even warm in fact it felt as if it had just come out of a refrigerator. The ingredients were terrible quality and not even spread out throughout the sandwich so one bite would be chicken one bite would be avocado etc, and yet the entire thing tasted only of mayonnaise. the most enjoyable part of my $ 10 meal was the cold piece of baguette which looked like it already had a bite taken out of it. The sandwich was also extremely small for 10 dollars and it is made me completely lose faith in paneras quality as well as customer service as I stood next to almost 10 employees who were not working instead gossiping about their jobs to the point the manager had to reach around them to get my food. All together I am extremely underwheld and will never be returning in the future as I cannot justify spending this inordinate amount of money on such terrible food and service. Wish I had stayed home and made myself a cold sandwich and I probably would have liked it more and could have afforded a nice dinner.

This place started out very good. But lately, it’s hit or miss. We ordered online, listened to the manager ask if all the food was in the bag(yeah) got home and a large salad was missing. Had to drive back to get the salad. The manager did add a cookie for the trouble. Next visit, eating a salad with chicken and bit into a small bone. Luckily it didn’t cause any damage. Since there are many other choices I doubt if I will be back.

Keeping in mind Panera is a salad place plus they offer a wide variety of salads and give generous portions. John the manager is always around to address any issues. I meet a group of 6 to 8 people there on a regular basis where they allow a reservation for the large table to accommodate us. The coffee is usually fresh and if it isn’t John will make it immediately and then tell you it’s ready. They have someone cleaning the tables constantly which is unusual for a salad place. Panera has an on going promotion of adding a desert to any meal for .99 cents. That works great for our large group since we get several deserts, divide them up, and get a desert buffet for reasonable prices. The salads, soups and breads are consistently good. Give credit to the managers and staff. The only negative is the place can get crowded at lunch hour. If it wasn’t good it wouldn’t get crowded !

This is a typical Panera Bread. Nothing special to report. The food is great! I do however think the prices are a bit over the top. And this location appears to be slightly smaller than other locations.

I’ll leave my rating for now, but be warned, after 4 pm, there are young kids working here. They dropped the ball on almost everything this evening. We ordered 3 items. When they called us for the food, my sons was missing. we checked the receipt and the girl never rung it up. I clearly heard him tell her his order. OK, my cobb salad was missing the eggs. Caught it when we picked it up. Sitting down, my wife notices her apple — chicken salad has NO chicken! Back to the counter she goes and they apologize and give her the chicken. They were all young kids and we saw them bullshitting with each other instead of concentrating on making the food. The food was fine, but be on the alert and check your order when you are there at dinner time.

Yum! The food here is fantastic! My favorite thing here is the Mac n Cheese which they have one of my favorites. The bread is very good! I could tell the food is homemade!

I Love this Panera! I’ve been here many times since it opened & I have never had a problem. Every team member has been friendly, professional and efficient! John always greets me in the morning with a smile & always lets me know about the new pastries & salads! Jessica, Ray, Leah, John the Manager — they’re all great! The food is always delicious & they keep up with keeping it nice & clean. Great place!

I am very disappointed of this Panera bread location. A few days ago my two young children and I went to the store to get croissants and bagels. The bagels were old and cold, the croissants were soggy and not flaky at all. On top of the that the staff was rude, the lady at the register named Dolores got upset because my 6 year old son took a water and put the bottom of it in his mouth. My son tried to put it back when I told him not to do that, she asked him pretty much yelling at him to give the bottle to her. He eventually did but she managed the whole thing very poorly, to the point that she made my son cry. I did not buy the water because of her attitude. If you are going to be at the counter of a family bakery/restaurant you need to be polite and respectful to the clients regardless, besides my son is just a little kid. I will not be back thanks to the low quality of food and the rudeness of the staff. I am very sorry about that because other Panera breads are so much better. I do not recommend it to anybody.

I’m happy that there is a Panera in the area. I come here to study alot, or to eat a quick meal, and this place is pretty spacious with lots of electrical outlets. They keep the BR and eating area clean, and the food is what I expect. Love the broccoli and cheddar soup. Staff is very friendly also, and keeps the tables clean. I just wish this place was open later, but it’s not their fault. everything in the area closes around the same time.

This restaurant is modern, clean and spacious. Food is nicely displayed in the front. Staff preparing the food in the back is moody and unfriendly. No surprises with the food here. Delicious as any other Panera. Try the bread bowl with any soup, yum yum.
