Temple Orange, how I love thee. I recently came back and stayed at Eau Palm Beach for the second time ever. During our first night, we decided to visit Temple Orange again, since the food was so great last time. I noticed during this trip that the menu had condensed a bit, and there was no longer sangria. I was SO looking forward to that :( The sangria absence aside, I went ahead and ordered the gnocchi. The waiter seemed to think everyone in my party had made light choices, and it worried me that maybe we hadn’t ordered enough. Luckily, we had. I finished about 2⁄3 of it and was very full. Our waiter was nice, but he wasn’t quite as attentive as I would’ve liked. My water was almost empty by the end of the meal. Anyway, we finished and we all enjoyed our meal. I can’t imagine that I won’t be back. The view is great, and they pretty much let you sit wherever you want. The food is always delicious as well.

Horrible in every way. We arrived at 6:30 hoping for a relatively quick meal and left at 9:30. The only thing worse that the service was the food. They couldn’t pay me to go back.

Lovely place to eat with great view! Had the Sashouka and best part served with Gluten Free Bread!!! Fresh squeezed grapefruit juice was very good perfect amount of sweet and sour flavor. The poached eggs were a little smaller than I anticipated but still very good and the sauce was excellent. Menu says spicy but didn’t taste hot spicey to me just plenty of flavor! The staff was friendly and attentive. My only recommendation would be a slice of avocado to make the dish perfect! Coffee was also flavorful and not acidity. Will try the amazing looking buffet tomorrow!

If I could give this place no stars, I would. We went there for brunch. The food had been out for a really long time and was very cold. We asked if they can send us a fresh batch and instead we received another cold old dish. The meats were dry, everything that was out was so gross from not being replaced. This place was far from 5 stars ! The service was also terrible. We reached out to the manager and spoke to him about the food, he asked us what he could do about it but at that point we were so disgusted with the condition of the food we decided to just leave and went to another brunch that was actually fresh.

I used to come to Temple Orange when Eue De Palm was still the Ritz Carlton, so I am happy to see that this place hasn’t changed at all. I love coming here during the day or even at night for lunch or dinner. I always sit outside on the patio, you get a nice little view of the ocean and there is always something soothing about enjoying a meal while listening to the waves crash. The staff is always very friendly and attentive. The food is pretty delicious. Small portions for seafood but otherwise I love everything on the menu. The chilled shrimp and mussels are always a great appetizer. I love their entire selection of wines. They also have this incredible raspberry Belgium cider called Lambic, which is sweet and delicious — I recommend trying it once. If you’re in this area give it a try. You don’t have to be staying in the hotel to eat here. I love it!

Three of us dined at Temple Orange on a Saturday night for my husband’s birthday. Let’s start with the service: for a four star hotel that aims to be five star, the service here was horrible. I’ve had better service at TooJays for an eighth of the price. There is not a wine list so the server has to go to the restaurant Angle to get their list and he could not even recommend anything. The appetizer/salad dishes were left on our very small table until the main course arrived(a half hour after we had finished our appetizers/salads). For service, I give this restaurant a 0 – 1 star. And then they have the audacity to charge 18% automatically to our bill. Next to the food. Hubby and I shared a Caesar salad which was good. Lots of anchovies which we like and fresh romaine leaves. But very little shaved parmessan. Entrees: Hubby and I opted to have the«Whole Fish for Two.» Well when this«whole fish for two» arrived, it was clear that this tiny pompano would only be enough for one. I literally had three bites of this fish as did my husband. At $ 50, we would have expected a fish that was… well, big enough for«two» to eat. Compared to places like Thai Jo’s at Cityplace where their whole fish is snapper and so large that it is impossible to finish, this was the rip-offs of rip-offs. The only thing that saved the miniscule fish was that it was actually very tasty. So my advice to Temple Orange: Don’t assume that all of your diners are snowbirds. Some of us patronize the restaurants in Palm Beach County year round. So please when you have«Whole Fish for Two» on your menu, make sure that it’s large enough for two to eat and not a very small fish like you served us. Our friend had the Red Snapper. Again, you practically needed a magnifying glass to see this fish. About three or four bites did this one in. At $ 35.00, another rip-off. And despite my letting them know in advance that it was my husband’s birthday, nothing special was done to honor this as they do at most other restaurants in Palm Beach County. Not even a Happy Birthday from the waiter. We were so disgusted with the service and tiny portions, we couldn’t wait to leave. No did not have desert at $ 10+ for their very unappetizing sounding deserts. Went across to Ice Cream Club and had desert there. Bottom line: Never going back here again. There were hardly any diners on a Saturday night and now I understand why. I believe that Angle is the gourmet restaurant at L’Eau rather than Temple Orange. But considering our very bad experience here and a bill of $ 200.00 for three, not planning on returning either to Temple or even trying Angle.

A lovely breakfast and atmosphere! Glad we could experience it, the only thing that I was not too impressed with was of the several egg dishes we ordered, there didn’t seem to be an emphasis on presenting the very best poultry eggs. The selection was fine but expect the best when I’m paying for it. Perhaps I’m ultra critical because I grew up on a farm and have such a fondness for pasture raised, but I would expect a place like this to serve farm fresh eggs(like really fresh) with deep orange yolk and the delicious taste to match. I know where to find those and I will reserve my breakfast dates at those places!

Came here for Easter Brunch. Valet is complementary and we walked into a beautiful lobby with a view of the beach in the back. The restaurant had beautiful music provided by a string quartet. We were seated inside at a table by the window with a pretty view. Our waiter was very attentive and made sure we had whatever we wanted. We started off with mimosas and then headed for the buffet. There are other buffets which have a lot more variety but it really is quality over quantity. Everything here was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. There were so many things I tried and loved them all, it’s hard to name them all. There’s an omelette station, carving station, raw bar, and an amazing dessert bar. Everything was bright and colorful and Easter themed for the occasion. There was an abundance of food. It is a bit pricey but I think it’s definitely worth it.

Lovely light airy and sophistticated atmosphere with food and service to match. Went there for the first time to celebrate a birthday and was delighted with the atmosphere, service and the fresh, mediterrean menu. We had the mussels that were in a well seasoned chunky delicious tomato broth, the bountiful boulliabaise, and the highlight was the swordfish cooked perfectly with delctible subtle flavorings and a side of the best potatoes. Definitely will be back especially on a nice night to experience their beautiful outdoor dining.

What a wonderful lunch experience. Food was delicious! My sister had the burger and fries, and it was amazing! Tuna salad was also delicious. Service was great. Views were great. Overall a wonderful experience and I look forward to going back.

I have been coming to this resort now for several years as part of an annual business event, first when it was a Ritz and then more recently as Eau. I have eaten at Temple Orange at least 15 times as a result of these trips. Temple Orange is an island of disaster in an otherwise beautiful property. It has always been such and it appears that management does not consider it important enough to fix. Service is generally atrocious, food is okay on its best days when it is not improperly prepared or damaged(e.g. mold) and it is very expensive for the combination of service and food. If there is a problem, they do not admit that they messed up they are trained to say«I’m sorry it doesn’t meet your expectations.» as if the customer is the crazy demanding one instead of saying«I’m sorry we will fix it for you.» Once I ordered a fritatta with no cheese. It arrived smothered with cheese and they gave me the old«I am sorry it did not meet your expectation.» 3 minutes later they returned with scrambled eggs in the fritatta pan telling me it was a fresh fritatta. Newsflash, I know the difference between scrambled eggs and a fritatta guys and I know how long it takes to make a fritatta. If it were not the only option for quick meals and breakfasts I would never return, nor would anyone in our company. It is so bad it is actually an internal company joke. I never cease to be amazed at how such a high end resort can have such a glaring problem and not address it. It is a discredit to the entire resort. I will be back but only because there are no other options for breakfast.

Amazing breakfast buffet! We visited on Father’s Day and enjoyed the special touches they had for dads. Eat inside or choose a table on the outdoor patio overlooking the pool and the Atlantic Ocean.

Food was OK at best. My friend and I ordered two options that seemed like a «safe» bet– the margarita flat bread and the pea risotto. Both were really not great, even if they were reasonably priced(which of course, they weren’t).

Worst pasta of my life. Came with literally 6 noodles(I counted) and was $ 24. I make pasta much better. Wish they just let me in the kitchen to my my own dinner.

Went for dinner only, and valet parking was free. The atmosphere was gorgeous and cozy, there was a huge fire pit with couches and chairs that are great for post-prandial cuddling and chatting. For dinner: The crab and lobster ravioli was delicious and so was the short rib. There were limited appetizer options, but we chose the hummus and it was delish, and we were able to get extra warm pita bread. Our server was very nice and patient with explaining the menu, and even brought a brownie with a candle for my bf’s bday. Overall, great food, small portions, cozy atmosphere, and friendly staff. Made reservations for a birthday and they didn’t disappoint. Very classy place, in a gorgeous resort.

Had the immense pleasure of dining at Temple Orange during Flavor of Palm Beach. Sunday afternoon lunch sitting by the window enjoying the gorgeous scenery and a meal that was beautifully prepared and presented. Service was second to none — just impeccable! I usually don’t order Caesar salad yet knew it was going to be freshly made which makes all the difference and it did not disappoint — wonderful! The pot du crème was tantalizing to the taste buds… sheer chocolate heaven! Look forward to returning again soon!

My sister purchased a coupon deal from some website. With her deal, she invited me to a brunch one Sunday morning. We headed over to the hotel, where the restaurant is located. We parked in the meter parking next door because it was only a few coins rather than using valet. We walk into the hotel towards the back on the ground the floor. The staff was incredibly nice and we were seated right away. They have many vegetarian options to choose from. They also have a buffet, but that is like $ 60/person. Anyway, we order numerous items from the menu. Each item was just as good as the next. For my main course, I had the brioche french toast. OMG amazing! I will definitely come back here when another coupon deal comes up. Otherwise, this place can get pricey.

I decided to give this place a try. I came here last week for breakfast with my sister. It was great! My sis ordered the brioche french toast. I ordered blueberry lemon pancakes. We also ordered a side of pastries as well as hashbrowns. We ended up sharing some of the food. The food was very tasty. The service was excellent as well. We did see the staff setting up Sunday brunch. The brunch there looks fabulous. We saw some scrumptious looking desserts on display. I am definitely interested in coming back to try brunch.

Update: After a couple of visits, this place has grown on me. Our first time was a bit underwhelming in terms of food and service. But during the following visits, we were very happy with the service. The menu is still fairly limited and not quite 5 star. However, you can broaden your choices by ordering flatbreads, custom made burgers, etc from the hotel’s in-room dining menu. First review: A restaurant in a luxury hotel should try a bit harder. The dishes we had(ahi tuna appetizer, red snapper, grouper with orange sauce, double chocolate cake dessert) were very mediocre. Pretty dull taste and unremarkable presentation. We did not hate them but did not love them either.

I had brunch here on a Saturday morning with two of my girlfriends. I was extremely impressed. I first noticed the beautiful décor of the restaurant. The service was superb. The hostess walked us to our table and even pulled the seats out for us. The food there was great! We had mimosas and freshly squeezed orange juice. I ordered the brioche French toast which was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted– it was excellent. Just the right amount of cinnamon and sugar. We sat inside, although, there is a great view of the beach if you decide to sit outside. I have to say that it was one of the pricier brunches that I’ve had. For 3 people: two mimosas, one OJ(freshly squeezed), two orders of French toast, an order of lemon blueberry pancakes and a side hash browns was around $ 115 with 18% gratuity already included. It was worth it for the great service and great food. Overall, a great experience. Would recommend and come again! Great spot for a romantic meal!
