My husband and I recently moved to the area and we have been to the shop on a number of occasions for purchases large and small and to have repairs to our bikes. The owner and employees have been extremely nice and helpful. I am surprised at the negatives reviews because this is truly a small town bike shop with personal, friendly service.

Staff is super friendly and extremely knowledgable … I have bought a couple bikes from here in the past few years and both times the pricing was fair and the selection was comparable to all the other local shops in the area. This is my one stop shop for all things related to bikes — they are always willing to tighten a loose handlebar or pump some air into your tires when you are just passing by, free of charge and with a smile.

Did not find the gentleman to be friendly or helpful when looking for a new bike. Very little explanation provided and seemed like he just didn’t care about the sale. I took my business elsewhere. However Bike prices did seem fair.

I had no choice but to go here on a summer Monday when most bike shops in the area are closed. I needed a new tube and tire for a borrowed and beat up mountain bike. I would have done the install myself but was told that it would only cost 3 bucks to put it all on. However in the end the total cost was 49 bucks . WOW gouging summer prices even to locals . Why thank you kind sir . Now here is the best part, a group of little preteen girls came in with a chain that popped off one of their bikes. The owner was going to charge her 15 bucks. She had no money, no way to get home and was then told she could leave it to get fixed and come back tomorrow with the money . I met her outside, popped the chain on for her and told her to take it easy on the way home and have her Dad adjust the wheel when she gets home . I did not want to go to this shop in the diary place and I defiantly won’t ever consider or recommend this shop . I will tell everyone this story though.

Steer clear! Brought in a bike for repair. They supposedly made the repair and charged me for it. Took the bike home and the problem was not fixed. Asked them if they test rode it after the repair was made. Told me they were too busy. ??? This happened more than once with repairs done there. They may be conveniently located near the beach but their workmanship is poor. The owner’s son(20 something kid) is an absolute pompous a**. Condescending too. Ask a question and get a wise a** response. Their bikes are ridiculously priced too in relation to nearby shops. I definitely will not be going back there after bringing in 3 different bikes for repair and having nothing but hassles and attitude.

The owner is completely unprofessional! Bought a bicycle, paid for it, started asking questions regarding accessories, kids seats, etc. and you could tell I was totally bothering the owner of the business. He then to, d me he had already sold the bike! Seriously?!? What a tool. Word is squan is this guy got daddy’s business and has been miserable since forever. Frigid break a smile guy! It’s obvious the only business you’re getting is tourists, because all locals know what’s up! Go screw!!!

I was surprised at the unfriendly atmosphere here. Pass on this place for one of the other LBS in the area The staff here acts like they ate doing you a favor talking to them. If there weren’t so many summer travelers willing to just show up and by a cruiser they would have gone away already
